1Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord: he shall delight exceedingly in his commandments.
1Louvem ao SENHOR! Darei graças ao SENHOR de todo o meu coração, no conselho dos retos e na congregação.
2His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the righteous shall be blessed.
2As obras do SENHOR são grandes, meditadas por todos os que nelas se deleitam.
3Glory and wealth shall be in his house: and his justice remaineth for ever and ever.
3Sua obra é honra e majestade. Sua justiça dura para sempre.
4To the righteous a light is risen up in darkness: he is merciful, and compassionate and just.
4Ele fez com que suas obras maravilhosas fossem lembradas. O SENHOR é gracioso e misericordioso.
5Acceptable is the man that showeth mercy and lendeth: he shall order his words with judgment:
5Ele deu alimento aos que o temem. Ele sempre se lembra da sua aliança.
6Because he shall not be moved for ever.
6Ele mostrou ao seu povo o poder das suas obras, dando-lhes a herança das nações.
7The just shall be in everlasting remembrance: he shall not hear the evil hearing. His heart is ready to hope in the Lord:
7As obras das suas mãos são verdade e justiça. Todos os seus preceitos são firmes.
8His heart is strengthened, he shall not be moved until he look over his enemies.
8Eles estão estabelecidos para todo o sempre. São feitos em verdade e retidão.
9He hath distributed, he hath given to the poor: his justice remaineth for ever and ever: his horn shall be exalted in glory.
9Ele enviou redenção ao seu povo. Ele ordenou a sua aliança para sempre. Seu nome é santo e temível!
10The wicked shall see, and shall be angry, he shall gnash with his teeth and pine away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
10O temor do SENHOR é o princípio da sabedoria. Todos os que fazem a sua obra têm bom entendimento. O seu louvor dura para sempre!
