1I rejoiced at the things that were said to me: We shall go into the house of the Lord.
1Levantarei os meus olhos para os montes. De onde vem o meu socorro?
2Our feet were standing in thy courts, O Jerusalem.
2O meu socorro vem do SENHOR, que fez o céu e a terra.
3Jerusalem, which is built as a city, which is compact together.
3Ele não permitirá que o seu pé vacile. Aquele que o guarda não cochilará.
4For thither did the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord: the testimony of Israel, to praise the name of the Lord.
4Eis que aquele que guarda Israel não cochilará nem dormirá.
5Because their seats have sat in judgment, seats upon the house of David.
5O SENHOR é o seu guarda. O SENHOR é a sua sombra à sua mão direita.
6Pray ye for the things that are for the peace of Jerusalem: and abundance for them that love thee.
6O sol não lhe fará mal de dia, nem a lua de noite.
7Let peace be in thy strength: and abundance in thy towers.
7O SENHOR o guardará de todo o mal. Ele guardará a sua alma.
8For the sake of my brethren, and of my neighbours, I spoke peace of thee.
8O SENHOR guardará a sua saída e a sua entrada, desde agora e para todo o sempre.
9Because of the house of the Lord our God, I have sought good things for thee.
