1I rejoiced at the things that were said to me: We shall go into the house of the Lord.
1Подижем очи своје ка горама; одакле ми долази помоћ?
2Our feet were standing in thy courts, O Jerusalem.
2Помоћ је мени од Господа, који је створио небо и земљу.
3Jerusalem, which is built as a city, which is compact together.
3Неће дати да попузне нога твоја; не дремље чувар твој.
4For thither did the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord: the testimony of Israel, to praise the name of the Lord.
4Гле, не дремље и не спава чувар Израиљев.
5Because their seats have sat in judgment, seats upon the house of David.
5Господ је чувар твој, Господ је сен твој, Он ти је с десне стране.
6Pray ye for the things that are for the peace of Jerusalem: and abundance for them that love thee.
6Дању те неће сунце убити ни месец ноћу.
7Let peace be in thy strength: and abundance in thy towers.
7Господ ће те сачувати од сваког зла, сачуваће душу твоју Господ.
8For the sake of my brethren, and of my neighbours, I spoke peace of thee.
8Господ ће чувати улазак твој и излазак твој, одсад и довека.
9Because of the house of the Lord our God, I have sought good things for thee.
