1Hallelujah. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens; praise Him in the heights.
1主をほめたたえよ！ 天から主をほめたたえよ。 高い所で主をほめたたえよ。
2Praise ye Him, all His angels; praise ye Him, all His hosts.
2主の御使いたちよ、皆、主をほめたたえよ。 主のすべての軍勢よ、主をほめたたえよ。
3Praise ye Him, sun and moon; praise Him, all ye stars of light.
3太陽と月よ、主をほめたたえよ。 光る星々よ、皆、主をほめたたえよ。
4Praise Him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that are above the heavens.
4天の天よ、主をほめたたえよ。 天の上にある水よ、主をほめたたえよ。
5Let them praise the name of the LORD; for He commanded, and they were created.
5それらすべてよ、主の御名をほめたたえよ。 主が命じられると、それらは造られたからである。
6He hath also established them for ever and ever; He hath made a decree which shall not be transgressed.
6主はそれらを、とこしえのとこしえまで堅く立てられた。 過ぎ去ることのない定めを置かれた。
7Praise the LORD from the earth, ye sea-monsters, and all deeps;
7地から主をほめたたえよ。 海の巨獣たちと、すべての深みよ。
8Fire and hail, snow and vapour, stormy wind, fulfilling His word;
8稲妻とひょう、雪と雲、 御言葉を行う嵐の風よ。
9Mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars;
9山々とすべての丘、 実を結ぶ木々とすべての杉よ。
10Beasts and all cattle, creeping things and winged fowl;
10野の獣とすべての家畜、 小さな生き物と空を飛ぶ鳥よ。
11Kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all judges of the earth;
11地の王たちとすべての民、 君主たちと地のすべてのさばき人よ。
12Both young men and maidens, old men and children;
12若い男と若い女、 老人と子どもよ。
13Let them praise the name of the LORD, for His name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and heaven.
13皆、主の御名をほめたたえよ。 その御名だけが高く上げられているからである。 その栄光は地と天の上にある。
14And He hath lifted up a horn for His people, a praise for all His saints, even for the children of Israel, a people near unto Him. Hallelujah.
14主はご自分の民の角を高く上げられた。 それは、すべての聖なる者たちの誉れ、 主に近い民、イスラエルの子らの誉れである。 主をほめたたえよ！
