1(47-1) For the Leader; a Psalm for the sons of Korah. (47-2) O clap your hands, all ye peoples; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.
1すべての国々よ、手をたたけ。 勝利の声を上げて神に叫べ。
2(47-3) For the LORD is most high, awful; a great King over all the earth.
2いと高き主は恐るべき方、 全地を治める大いなる王だからである。
3(47-4) He subdueth peoples under us, and nations under our feet.
3主は国々を私たちの下に従わせ、 諸国の民を私たちの足の下に置かれる。
4(47-5) He chooseth our inheritance for us, the pride of Jacob whom He loveth. Selah
4主は私たちのために相続地を選ばれる。 主が愛されたヤコブの栄光を。 セラ。
5(47-6) God is gone up amidst shouting, the LORD amidst the sound of the horn.
5神は喜びの叫びと共に上られ、 主は角笛の音と共に上られた。
6(47-7) Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
6神にほめ歌を歌え。ほめ歌を歌え。 私たちの王にほめ歌を歌え。ほめ歌を歌え。
7(47-8) For God is the King of all the earth; sing ye praises in a skilful song.
7神は全地の王だからである。 悟りをもってほめ歌を歌え。
8(47-9) God reigneth over the nations; God sitteth upon His holy throne.
8神は国々を治められる。 神は聖なる王座に座っておられる。
9(47-10) The princes of the peoples are gathered together, the people of the God of Abraham; for unto God belong the shields of the earth; He is greatly exalted.
9諸国の民の君主たちは共に集まり、 アブラハムの神の民となった。 地の盾は神のものだからである。 神は大いに高く上げられた。
