King James Version with Apocrypha
Kadede Kap (Pohnpeian New Testament and Psalms)
1O LORD God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before thee:
1MAI N Ieowa, Kot ai jaunkamaur, i kin likwir nin ran o ni pon mo ’mui.
2Let my prayer come before thee: incline thine ear unto my cry;
2Kom kotin mueid o n , ai kapakap en lelda wo n komui. Kom kotin kapaik don karo n omui kan ai likelikwir.
3For my soul is full of troubles: and my life draweth nigh unto the grave.
3Pwe n en i me dir en mamauk, o maur i koren io n mela.
4I am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am as a man that hath no strength:
4N ai kin wadok o n ir memelar, n ai dueta ol amen, me jolar
5Free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more: and they are cut off from thy hand.
5I wonon nan pu n en me melar akan, me wonon nan joujou, me kom jolar kotin kupura, pwe re lokidokilar ja n nan lim omui.
6Thou hast laid me in the lowest pit, in darkness, in the deeps.
6Kom kotin kaje ia lar nan joujou, waja rotorot o lol.
7Thy wrath lieth hard upon me, and thou hast afflicted me with all thy waves. Selah.
7Omui o n io n kin katoutou ia, o kom kotin idan kin ia di omui iluk kan.
8Thou hast put away mine acquaintance far from me; thou hast made me an abomination unto them: I am shut up, and I cannot come forth.
8Kom kotiki wo n er kompoke pa i kan waja doo, kom kotin wia kin ia la me jued kot o n ir, i jalidier o jo kak pitila.
9Mine eye mourneth by reason of affliction: LORD , I have called daily upon thee, I have stretched out my hands unto thee.
9Maj ai juede kilar ai luet, nin ran karoj i potoan o n komui, Mai n Ieowa, o i kapa wo n komui pa i kat.
10Wilt thou shew wonders to the dead? shall the dead arise and praise thee? Selah.
10Kom pan kotin kajaleda omui manaman ren me melar akan? De me melar akan pan maurada danke komui?
11Shall thy lovingkindness be declared in the grave? or thy faithfulness in destruction?
11Re pan kojoia duen omui kala n an nan joujou kan? O wajan mela duen omui melel?
12Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
12Omui manaman akan pan janjaleda waja rotorot, o omui pu n nan jap en me re jolar kin lamelame?
13But unto thee have I cried, O LORD ; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent thee.
13A i kin potoan likwir o n komui, Mai n Ieowa nin manja n , ai kapakap pan lel wo n komui.
14LORD , why castest thou off my soul? why hidest thou thy face from me?
14Mai n Ieowa, da me kom kotin kaje ia kila, o da me kom okila ki jila n ar mo i?
15I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up: while I suffer thy terrors I am distracted.
15N ai me luet o jaliel ja n ni ai pulepul; i kin kamekamki omui kalom, i koren io n jolar kaporopor.
16Thy fierce wrath goeth over me; thy terrors have cut me off.
16Omui o n io n kin kadupal ia di, omui kalom kawe ia Iar
17They came round about me daily like water; they compassed me about together.
17Re kapil ia pena dueta pil akan ja n ni manja n lel jautik, ir karoj kapil ia pena.
18Lover and friend hast thou put far from me, and mine acquaintance into darkness.
18Kom kotiki wo n er kompoke pa I oai warok kan waja doo, rotorot eta ai warok.
