1Бог нам је уточиште и сила, помоћник, који се у невољама брзо налази.
1God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2Зато се нећемо бојати, да би се земља поместила, и горе се превалиле у срце морима.
2Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas;
3Нека бучи и кипи вода њихова, нек се планине тресу од вала њихових;
3though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling. Selah.
4Потоци веселе град Божји, свети стан Вишњег.
4There is a river, the streams of which make the city of God glad, the holy place of the tents of the Most High.
5Бог је усред њега, неће се поместити, Бог му помаже од зоре.
5God is within her. She shall not be moved. God will help her at dawn.
6Узбучаше народи, задрмаше се царства; али Он пусти глас свој и земља се растапаше.
6The nations raged. The kingdoms were moved. He lifted his voice and the earth melted.
7Господ над војскама с нама је, бранич је наш Бог Јаковљев.
7The LORD of Armies is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
8Ходите и видите дела Господа, који учини чудеса на земљи,
8Come, see the LORD’s works, what desolations he has made on the earth.
9Прекиде ратове до краја земље, лук преби, копље сломи, и кола сажеже огњем.
9He makes wars cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow, and shatters the spear. He burns the chariots in the fire.
10Утолите и познајте да сам ја Бог; ја сам узвишен по народима, узвишен на земљи.
10“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted on the earth.”
11Господ над војскама с нама је, бранич је наш Бог Јаковљев.
11The LORD of Armies is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
