1Благосиљај, душо моја, Господа, и све што је у мени свето име Његово.
1Praise the LORD, my soul! All that is within me, praise his holy name!
2Благосиљај, душо моја, Господа, и не заборављај ниједно добро што ти је учинио.
2Praise the LORD, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits,
3Он ти прашта све грехе и исцељује све болести твоје;
3who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases,
4Избавља од гроба живот твој, венчава те добротом и милошћу;
4who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies,
5Испуња добрим жеље твоје, понавља се као у орла младост твоја.
5who satisfies your desire with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6Господ твори правду и суд свима којима се криво чини.
6The LORD executes righteous acts, and justice for all who are oppressed.
7Показа путеве своје Мојсију, синовима Израиљевим дела своја.
7He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the children of Israel.
8Милостив је и добар Господ, спор на гнев и веома благ.
8The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness.
9Не гневи се једнако, нити се довека срди.
9He will not always accuse; neither will he stay angry forever.
10Не поступа с нама по гресима нашим, нити нам враћа по неправдама нашим.
10He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor repaid us for our iniquities.
11Него колико је небо високо од земље, толика је милост Његова к онима који Га се боје.
11For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him.
12Колико је исток далеко од запада, толико удаљује од нас безакоња наша.
12As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
13Како отац жали синове, тако Господ жали оне који Га се боје.
13Like a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him.
14Јер зна грађу нашу, опомиње се да смо прах.
14For he knows how we are made. He remembers that we are dust.
15Дани су човечији као трава; као цвет у пољу, тако цвета.
15As for man, his days are like grass. As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
16Дуне ветар на њ, и нестане га, нити ће га више познати место његово.
16For the wind passes over it, and it is gone. Its place remembers it no more.
17Али милост Господња остаје од века и довека на онима који Га се боје, и правда Његова на синовима синова,
17But the LORD’s loving kindness is from everlasting to everlasting with those who fear him, his righteousness to children’s children,
18Који држе завет Његов, и памте заповести Његове, да их извршују.
18to those who keep his covenant, to those who remember to obey his precepts.
19Господ на небесима постави престо свој, и царство Његово свим влада.
19The LORD has established his throne in the heavens. His kingdom rules over all.
20Благосиљајте Господа анђели Његови, који сте силни крепошћу извршујете реч Његову слушајући глас речи Његове.
20Praise the LORD, you angels of his, who are mighty in strength, who fulfill his word, obeying the voice of his word.
21Благосиљајте Господа све војске Његове, слуге Његове, које творите вољу Његову.
21Praise the LORD, all you armies of his, you servants of his, who do his pleasure.
22Благосиљајте Господа сва дела Његова, по свим местима владе Његове! Благосиљај, душо моја Господа!
22Praise the LORD, all you works of his, in all places of his dominion. Praise the LORD, my soul!
