1А ово су племена синова Нојевих, Сима, Хама и Јафета, којима се родише синови после потопа.
1These are the generations of the sons of Noe: Sem, Cham, and Japheth: and unto them sons were born after the flood.
2Синови Јафетови: Гомер и Магог и Мадај и Јаван и Товел и Месех и Тирас.
2The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Thubal, and Mosoch, and Thiras.
3А синови Гомерови: Асхенас и Рифат и Тогарма.
3And the sons of Gomer: Ascenez and Riphath and Thogorma.
4А синови Јаванови: Елиса и Тарсис, Китим и Доданим.
4And the sons of Javan: Elisa and Tharsis, Cetthim and Dodanim.
5Од њих се разделише острва народна на земљама својим, свако по језику свом и по породицама својим, у народима својим.
5By these were divided the islands of the Gentiles in their lands, every one according to his tongue and their families in their nations.
6А синови Хамови: Хус и Месраин, Фуд и Ханан.
6And the sons of Cham: Chus, and Mesram, and Phuth, and Chanaan.
7А синови Хусови: Сава и Авила и Савата и Регма и Саватака. А синови Регмини: Сава и Дедан.
7And the sons of Chus: Saba, and Hevila, and Sabatha, and Regma, and Sabatacha. The sons of Regma: Saba and Dadan.
8Хус роди и Неврода; а он први би силан на земљи;
8Now Chus begot Nemrod: he began to be mighty on the earth.
9беше добар ловац пред Господом; зато се каже: Добар ловац пред Господом као Неврод.
9And he was a stout hunter before the Lord. Hence came a proverb: Even as Nemrod the stout hunter before the Lord.
10А почетак царству његовом беше Вавилон и Орех и Архад и Халани у земљи Сенару.
10And the beginning of his kingdom was Babylon, and Arach, and Achad, and Chalanne in the land of Sennaar.
11Из те земље изађе Асур, и сазида Ниневију и Ровот град и Халах,
11Out of that land came forth Assur, and built Ninive, and the streets of the city, and Chale.
12и Дасем између Ниневије и Халаха; то је град велик.
12Resen also between Ninive and Chale: this is the great city.
13А Месраин роди Лудеје и Енемеје и Лавеје и Нефталеје,
13And Mesraim begot Ludim, and Anamim, and Laabim, Nepthuim,
14и Патросеје и Хасмеје, одакле изађоше Филистеји и Гафтореји.
14And Phetrusim, and Chasluim; of whom came forth the Philistines, and the Capthorim.
15А Ханан роди Сидона, првенца свог, и Хета,
15And Chanaan begot Sidon, his firstborn, the Hethite,
16и Јевусеја и Амореја и Гергесеја,
16And the Jebusite, and the Amorrhite, and the Gergesite,
17и Евеја и Арукеја и Асенеја,
17The Hevite and the Aracite: the Sinite,
18и Арвадеја и Самареја и Аматеја. А после се расејаше племена хананејска.
18And the Aradian, the Samarite, and the Hamathite: and afterwards the families of the Chanaanites were spread abroad.
19И беху међе хананејске од Сидона идући на Герар па до Газе, и идући на Содом и Гомор и Адаму и Севојим па до Даса.
19And the limits of Chanaan were from Sidon as one comes to Gerara even to Gaza, until thou enter Sodom and Gomorrha, and Adama, and Seboim even to Lesa.
20То су синови Хамови по породицама својим и по језицима својим, у земљама својим и у народима својим.
20These are the children of Cham in their kindreds, and tongues, and generations, and lands, and nations.
21И Симу родише се синови, најстаријем брату Јафетовом, оцу свих синова Еверових.
21Of Sem also, the father of all the children of Heber, the elder brother of Japheth, sons were born.
22Синови Симови беху: Елам и Асур и Арфаксад и Луд и Арам.
22The sons of Sem: Elam and Assur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.
23А синови Арамови: Уз и Ул и Гатер и Мас.
23The sons of Aram: Us and Hull, and Gether, and Mess.
24А Арфаксад роди Салу, а Сала роди Евера.
24But Arphaxad begot Sale, of whom was born Heber.
25А Еверу се родише два сина: једном беше име Фалек, јер се у његово време раздели земља, а брату његовом име Јектан.
25And to Heber were born two sons: the name of the one was Phaleg, because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother’s name Jectan.
26А Јектан роди Елмодада и Салета и Сармота и Јараха,
26Which Jectan begot Elmodad, and Saleph, and Asarmoth, Jare,
27и Одора и Евила и Деклу,
27And Aduram, and Uzal, and Decla,
28и Евала и Авимаила и Саву,
28And Ebal, and Abimael, Saba,
29и Уфира и Евилу и Јовава; ти сви беху синови Јектанови.
29And Ophir, and Hevila, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Jectan.
30И живљаху од Масе, како се иде на Сафир до гора источних.
30And their dwelling was from Messa as we go on as far as Sephar, a mountain in the east.
31То су синови Симови по породицама својим и по језицима својим, у земљама својим и у народима својим.
31These are the children of Sem according to their kindreds and tongues, and countries in their nations.
32То су породице синова Нојевих по племенима својим, у народима својим; и од њих се разделише народи по земљи после потопа.
32These are the families of Noe, according to their peoples and nations. By these were the nations divided on the earth after the flood.
