1Αὗται δὲ αἱ γενέσεις τῶν υἱῶν Νῶε, Σὴμ, Χὰμ, Ἰάφεθ· καὶ ἐγεννήθησαν αὐτοῖς υἱοὶ μετὰ τὸν κατακλυσμόν.
1These are the generations of the sons of Noe: Sem, Cham, and Japheth: and unto them sons were born after the flood.
2Υἱοὶ Ἰάφεθ, Γαμὲρ, καὶ Μαγὼγ, καὶ Μαδοὶ, καὶ Ἰωύαν, καὶ Ἐλισὰ, καὶ Θοβὲλ, καὶ Μοσὸχ, καὶ Θείρας.
2The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Thubal, and Mosoch, and Thiras.
3Καὶ υἱοὶ Γαμὲρ, Ἀσχανὰζ, καὶ Ῥιφὰθ, καὶ Θοργαμά.
3And the sons of Gomer: Ascenez and Riphath and Thogorma.
4Καὶ υἱοὶ Ἰωύαν, Ἐλισὰ, καὶ Θάρσεις, Κήτιοι, Ῥόδὶοι.
4And the sons of Javan: Elisa and Tharsis, Cetthim and Dodanim.
5Ἐκ τούτων ἀφωρίσθησαν νῆσοι τῶν ἐθνῶν ἐν τῇ γῇ αὐτῶν· ἕκαστος κατὰ γλῶσσαν ἐν ταῖς φυλαῖς αὐτῶν, καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν αὐτῶν.
5By these were divided the islands of the Gentiles in their lands, every one according to his tongue and their families in their nations.
6Υἱοὶ δὲ Χὰμ, Χοὺς, καὶ Μεσραῒν, Φοὺδ, καὶ Χαναάν.
6And the sons of Cham: Chus, and Mesram, and Phuth, and Chanaan.
7Υἱοὶ δὲ Χοὺς, Σαβὰ, καὶ Εὐϊλὰ, καὶ Σαβαθὰ, καὶ Ῥεγμὰ, καὶ Σαβαθακά· υἱοὶ δὲ Ῥεγμὰ, Σαβὰ, καὶ Δαδάν.
7And the sons of Chus: Saba, and Hevila, and Sabatha, and Regma, and Sabatacha. The sons of Regma: Saba and Dadan.
8Χοὺς δὲ ἐγέννησε τὸν Νεβρώδ· οὗτος ἤρξατο εἶναι γίγας ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς.
8Now Chus begot Nemrod: he began to be mighty on the earth.
9Οὗτος ἦν γίγας κυνηγὸς ἐναντίον Κυρίου τοῦ Θεοῦ· διὰ τοῦτο ἐροῦσιν, ὡς Νεβρὼδ γίγας κυνηγὸς ἐναντίον Κυρίου.
9And he was a stout hunter before the Lord. Hence came a proverb: Even as Nemrod the stout hunter before the Lord.
10Καὶ ἐγένετο ἀρχὴ τῆς βασιλείας αὐτοῦ Βαβυλὼν, καὶ Ὀρὲχ, καὶ Ἀρχὰδ, καὶ Χαλάννη, ἐν τῇ γῇ Σεναάρ.
10And the beginning of his kingdom was Babylon, and Arach, and Achad, and Chalanne in the land of Sennaar.
11Ἐκ τῆς γῆς ἐκείνης ἐξῆλθεν Ἀσσούρ· καὶ ᾠκοδόμησε τὴν Νινευῒ, καὶ τὴν Ῥοωβὼθ πόλιν, καὶ τὴν Χαλὰχ,
11Out of that land came forth Assur, and built Ninive, and the streets of the city, and Chale.
12καὶ τὴν Δασὴ ἀνὰ μέσον Νινευῒ, καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον Χαλάχ· αὕτη ἡ πόλις μεγάλη.
12Resen also between Ninive and Chale: this is the great city.
13Καὶ Μεσραῒν ἐγέννησε τοὺς Λουδιεὶμ, καὶ τοὺς Νεφθαλεὶμ, καὶ τοὺς Ἐνεμετιεὶμ, καὶ τοὺς Λαβιεὶμ,
13And Mesraim begot Ludim, and Anamim, and Laabim, Nepthuim,
14καὶ τοὺς Πατροσωνιεὶμ, καὶ τοὺς Χασμωνιεὶμ, ὅθεν ἐξῆλθε Φυλιστιεὶμ, καὶ τοὺς Γαφθοριείμ.
14And Phetrusim, and Chasluim; of whom came forth the Philistines, and the Capthorim.
15Χαναὰν δὲ ἐγέννησε τὸν Σιδῶνα πρωτότοκον αὐτοῦ, καὶ τὸν Χετταῖον,
15And Chanaan begot Sidon, his firstborn, the Hethite,
16καὶ τὸν Ἰεβουσαῖον, καὶ τὸν Ἀμοῤῥαῖον, καὶ τὸν Γεργεσαῖον,
16And the Jebusite, and the Amorrhite, and the Gergesite,
17καὶ τὸν Εὐαῖον, καὶ τὸν Ἀρουκαῖον, καὶ τὸν Ἀσενναῖον,
17The Hevite and the Aracite: the Sinite,
18καὶ τον Ἀράδιον, καὶ τὸν Σαμαραῖον, καὶ τὸν Ἀμαθί. Καὶ μετὰ τοῦτο διεσπάρησαν αἱ φυλαὶ τῶν Χαναναίων.
18And the Aradian, the Samarite, and the Hamathite: and afterwards the families of the Chanaanites were spread abroad.
19Καὶ ἐγένετο τὰ ὅρια τῶν Χαναναίων ἀπὸ Σιδῶνος ἕως ἐλθεῖν εἰς Γεραρὰ καὶ Γαζὰν, ἕως ἐλθεῖν ἕως Σοδόμων καὶ Γομόῤῥας, Ἀδαμὰ καὶ Σεβωῒμ ἕως Δασά.
19And the limits of Chanaan were from Sidon as one comes to Gerara even to Gaza, until thou enter Sodom and Gomorrha, and Adama, and Seboim even to Lesa.
20Οὗτοι υἱοὶ Χὰμ, ἐν ταῖς φυλαῖς αὐτῶν, κατὰ γλώσσας αὐτῶν, ἐν ταῖς χώραις αὐτῶν, καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν αὐτῶν.
20These are the children of Cham in their kindreds, and tongues, and generations, and lands, and nations.
21Καὶ τῷ Σὴμ ἐγεννήθη καὶ αὐτῷ πατρὶ πάντων τῶν υἱῶν Ἕβερ, ἀδελφῷ Ἰάφεθ τοῦ μείζονος.
21Of Sem also, the father of all the children of Heber, the elder brother of Japheth, sons were born.
22Υἱοὶ Σὴμ, Ἐλὰμ, καὶ Ἀσσοὺρ, καὶ Ἀρφαξὰδ, καὶ Λοὺδ, καὶ Ἀρὰμ, καὶ Καϊνᾶν.
22The sons of Sem: Elam and Assur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.
23Καὶ υἱοὶ Ἀρὰμ, Οὒζ, καὶ Οὒλ, καὶ Γατὲρ, καὶ Μοσόχ.
23The sons of Aram: Us and Hull, and Gether, and Mess.
24Καὶ Ἀρφαξὰδ ἐγέννησε τὸν Καϊνᾶν, καὶ Καϊνᾶν ἐγέννησε τὸν Σαλά· Σαλὰ δὲ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἕβερ.
24But Arphaxad begot Sale, of whom was born Heber.
25Καὶ τῷ Ἕβερ ἐγεννήθησαν δύο υἱοί· ὄνομα τῷ ἑνὶ, Φαλὲγ, ὅτι ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις αὐτοῦ διεμερίσθη ἡ γῆ· καὶ ὄνομα τῷ ἀδελφῷ αὐτοῦ Ἰεκτάν.
25And to Heber were born two sons: the name of the one was Phaleg, because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother’s name Jectan.
26Ἰεκτὰν δὲ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἐλμωδὰδ, καὶ Σαλὲθ, καὶ τὸν Σαρμὼθ, καὶ Ἰαρὰχ,
26Which Jectan begot Elmodad, and Saleph, and Asarmoth, Jare,
27καὶ Ὁδοῤῥὰ, καὶ Αἰβὴλ, καὶ Δεκλὰ, καὶ Εὐὰλ,
27And Aduram, and Uzal, and Decla,
28καὶ Ἀβιμαὲλ, καὶ Σαβὰ,
28And Ebal, and Abimael, Saba,
29καὶ Οὐφεὶρ, καὶ Εὑεϊλὰ, καὶ Ἰωβάβ· πάντες οὗτοι υἱοὶ Ἰεκτάν.
29And Ophir, and Hevila, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Jectan.
30Καὶ ἐγένετο ἡ κατοίκησις αὐτῶν, ἀπὸ Μασσῆ ἕως ἐλθεῖν εἰς Σαφηρὰ ὄρος ἀνατολῶν.
30And their dwelling was from Messa as we go on as far as Sephar, a mountain in the east.
31Οὗτοι υἱοὶ Σὴμ, ἐν ταῖς φυλαῖς αὐτῶν, κατὰ γλώσσας αὐτῶν, ἐν ταῖς χώραις αὐτῶν, καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν αὐτῶν.
31These are the children of Sem according to their kindreds and tongues, and countries in their nations.
32Αὗται αἱ φυλαὶ υἱῶν Νῶε κατὰ γενέσεις αὐτῶν, κατὰ ἔθνη αὐτῶν· ἀπὸ τούτων διεσπάρησαν νῆσοι τῶν ἐθνῶν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς μετὰ τὸν κατακλυσμόν.
32These are the families of Noe, according to their peoples and nations. By these were the nations divided on the earth after the flood.
