1Out of the depths I have cried to thee, O Lord:
1Ka camoe lamloh kai mat n'daengdaeh he Israel loh thui laeh saeh.
2Lord, hear my voice. Let thy ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication.
2Ka camoe lamloh kai he mat n'daengdaeh uh dae kai he n'noeng moenih.
3If thou, O Lord, wilt mark iniquities: Lord, who shall stand it.
3Ka uen soah a thoe a thoe uh tih a hma sokah a hma te a yoe uh.
4For with thee there is merciful forgiveness: and by reason of thy law, I have waited for thee, O Lord. My soul hath relied on his word:
4Aka dueng BOEIPA loh halang rhoek kah rhuivaeh te a tlueh pah.
5My soul hath hoped in the Lord.
5Zion aka thiinah rhoek boeih tah yahpok uh saeh lamtah a hnuk la balkhong uh saeh.
6From the morning watch even until night, let Israel hope in the Lord.
6Imphu kah sulrham bangla om saeh. Te tah amah hmuen ah a rhae la a phuk.
7Because with the Lord there is mercy: and with him plentiful redemption.
