1I have loved, because the Lord will hear the voice of my prayer.
1Khi Y-sơ-ra-ên ra khỏi Ê-díp-tô, Nhà Gia-cốp lìa bỏ một dân nói tiếng lạ,
2Because he hath inclined his ear unto me: and in my days I will call upon him.
2Thì Giu-đa trở nên đền thánh Ngài, Và Y-sơ-ra-ên thành nước Ngài.
3The sorrows of death have encompassed me: and the perils of hell have found me. I met with trouble and sorrow:
3Biển thấy sự ấy, bèn chạy trốn; Sông Giô-đanh chảy trở lại sau;
4And I called upon the name of the Lord. O Lord, deliver my soul.
4Núi nhảy như chiên đực, Nổng nhảy khác nào chiên con.
5The Lord is merciful and just, and our God sheweth mercy.
5ù biển, nhân sao ngươi chạy trốn? ù Giô-đanh, vì cớ gì mà ngươi chảy trở lại sau?
6The Lord is the keeper of little ones: I was little and he delivered me.
6ù núi, nhân sao ngươi nhảy như chiên đực? ù nổng, vì cớ gì mà ngươi nhảy như chiên con?
7Turn, O my soul, into thy rest: for the Lord hath been bountiful to thee.
7Hỡi đất, hãy run rẩy trước mặt Chúa, Trước mặt Đức Chúa Trời của Gia-cốp,
8For he hath delivered my soul from death: my eyes from tears, my feet from falling.
8Là Đấng biến hòn đá ra ao nước, Đổi đá cứng thành nguồn nước.
9I will please the Lord in the land of the living.
