1Начальнику хора. Псалом Давида. В воспоминание.
1Unto the end, a psalm for David, to bring to remembrance that the Lord saved him.
2Поспеши, Боже, избавить меня, поспеши, Господи, на помощь мне.
2O God, come to my assistance; O Lord, make haste to help me.
3Да постыдятся и посрамятся ищущие души моей! Да будут обращены назад и преданы посмеянию желающие мне зла!
3Let them be confounded and ashamed that seek my soul:
4Да будут обращены назад за поношение меня говорящие мне: “хорошо! хорошо!”
4Let them be turned backward, and blush for shame that desire evils to me: Let them be presently turned away blushing for shame that say to me: Tis well, tis well.
5Да возрадуются и возвеселятся о Тебе все, ищущие Тебя, и любящие спасение Твое да говорят непрестанно: “велик Бог!”
5Let all that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee; and let such as love thy salvation say always: The Lord be magnified.
6Я же беден и нищ; Боже, поспеши ко мне! Ты помощь моя и Избавитель мой; Господи! не замедли.
6But I am needy and poor; O God, help me. Thou art my helper and my deliverer: O Lord, make no delay.
