1Praise ye the LORD . Praise ye the name of the LORD ; praise him , O ye servants of the LORD .
1จงสรรเสริญพระยาห์เวห์! จงสรรเสริญพระนามของพระยาห์เวห์! ผู้รับใช้ของพระยาห์เวห์เอ๋ย จงสรรเสริญพระองค์
2Ye that stand in the house of the LORD , in the courts of the house of our God,
2พวกท่านผู้ยืนอยู่ในบ้านของพระยาห์เวห์ ในลานบ้านของพระเจ้าของเรา
3Praise the LORD ; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.
3จงสรรเสริญพระยาห์เวห์ เพราะพระยาห์เวห์ทรงดี จงร้องเพลงสรรเสริญพระนามของพระองค์ เพราะชื่นใจนัก
4For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.
4เพราะพระยาห์เวห์ ทรงเลือกยาโคบไว้เป็นของพระองค์ ทรงเลือกอิสราเอลเป็นสมบัติของพระองค์เอง
5For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.
5เพราะฉันรู้ว่าพระยาห์เวห์ทรงยิ่งใหญ่ องค์เจ้านายของเราทรงอยู่เหนือเทพทั้งปวง
6Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.
6สิ่งใดที่พระยาห์เวห์ต้องการ พระองค์ก็ทรงกระทำสิ่งนั้น ทั้งในฟ้าสวรรค์ บนแผ่นดินโลก ในทะเล และในห้วงลึกทั้งปวง
7He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.
7พระองค์ทรงให้เมฆลอยขึ้นจากสุดปลายแผ่นดิน ทรงให้ฟ้าแลบมาพร้อมฝน และทรงนำลมออกมาจากคลังของพระองค์
8Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.
8พระองค์ทรงประหารบุตรหัวปีของอียิปต์ ทั้งคนและสัตว์
9Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
9อียิปต์เอ๋ย พระองค์ทรงส่งหมายสำคัญและสิ่งอัศจรรย์เข้ามาท่ามกลางเจ้า ต่อฟาโรห์และข้าราชการทั้งปวงของเขา
10Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;
10พระองค์ทรงโจมตีหลายชนชาติ และประหารกษัตริย์ผู้ทรงอำนาจ
11Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:
11คือสิโหน กษัตริย์ของชาวอาโมไรต์ โอก กษัตริย์แห่งบาชาน และอาณาจักรทั้งปวงแห่งคานาอัน
12And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.
12แล้วประทานแผ่นดินของพวกเขาเป็นมรดก เป็นมรดกแก่อิสราเอลประชากรของพระองค์
13Thy name, O LORD , endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O LORD , throughout all generations.
13พระยาห์เวห์ พระนามของพระองค์ดำรงอยู่ตลอดไป ชื่อเสียงของพระองค์ พระยาห์เวห์ ดำรงอยู่ทุกชั่วอายุ
14For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.
14เพราะพระยาห์เวห์จะทรงตัดสินความให้ประชากรของพระองค์ และทรงเมตตาผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์
15The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
15รูปเคารพของชนชาติต่าง ๆ ทำจากเงินและทอง เป็นผลงานจากมือมนุษย์
16They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;
16มีปาก แต่พูดไม่ได้ มีตา แต่มองไม่เห็น
17They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.
17มีหู แต่ไม่ได้ยิน ไม่มีแม้แต่ลมหายใจในปาก
18They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.
18คนที่สร้างรูปเหล่านั้นจะเป็นเหมือนสิ่งที่ตนสร้าง ทุกคนที่วางใจในรูปเหล่านั้นก็เช่นกัน
19Bless the LORD , O house of Israel: bless the LORD , O house of Aaron:
19เชื้อสายอิสราเอลเอ๋ย จงสรรเสริญพระยาห์เวห์! เชื้อสายอาโรนเอ๋ย จงสรรเสริญพระยาห์เวห์!
20Bless the LORD , O house of Levi: ye that fear the LORD , bless the LORD .
20เชื้อสายเลวีเอ๋ย จงสรรเสริญพระยาห์เวห์! ผู้ที่ยำเกรงพระยาห์เวห์เอ๋ย จงสรรเสริญพระยาห์เวห์!
21Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD .
21ขอถวายคำสรรเสริญแด่พระยาห์เวห์จากศิโยน พระองค์ผู้ประทับในเยรูซาเล็ม จงสรรเสริญพระยาห์เวห์!
