1アロンの子らの組分けは次のとおりである。アロンの子らはナダブ、アビフ、エルアザル、イタマル。
1And the courses of the sons of Aaron were these. The sons of Aaron: Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
2ナダブとアビフは父より先に、子を残さずに死んだので、エルアザルとイタマルが祭司として仕えた。
2But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children; therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the priest's office.
3ダビデは、エルアザルの子孫ツァドクおよびイタマルの子孫アヒメレクとともに、彼らを奉仕の任務に従って組に分けた。
3And David with Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, divided them according to their ordering in their service.
4エルアザルの子らには、イタマルの子らよりも多くの父祖の家のかしらがいたので、次のように分けた。エルアザルの子らには父祖の家のかしらが十六人、イタマルの子らには父祖の家に従って八人いた。
4And there were more chief men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar; and thus were they divided: of the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen, heads of fathers' houses; and of the sons of Ithamar, according to their fathers' houses, eight.
5両者の中に聖所の長と神の長がいたので、くじを引き、分け隔てなく組に分けた。
5Thus were they divided by lot, one sort with another; for they were princes of the sanctuary and princes of God, both of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.
6レビ人である書記、ネタヌエルの子シェマヤが、王、指導者たち、祭司ツァドク、アビヤタルの子アヒメレク、および祭司とレビ人の父祖の家のかしらたちの前で、その名を書き留めた。エルアザルのために一つの父祖の家を取り、次にイタマルのために一つを取った。
6And Shemaiah the son of Nethanel the scribe, who was of the Levites, wrote them in the presence of the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and the heads of the fathers' houses of the priests and of the Levites: one father's house being taken for Eleazar, and proportionately for Ithamar.
7第一のくじはエホヤリブに、第二はエダヤに、
7Now the first lot came forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah;
8第三はハリムに、第四はセオリムに、
8the third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim;
9第五はマルキヤに、第六はミヤミンに、
9the fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin;
10第七はハコツに、第八はアビヤに、
10the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah;
11第九はエシュアに、第十はシェカンヤに、
11the ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah;
12第十一はエルヤシブに、第十二はヤキムに、
12the eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim;
13第十三はフパに、第十四はエシェブアブに、
13the thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab;
14第十五はビルガに、第十六はイメルに、
14the fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer;
15第十七はヘジルに、第十八はハピツェツに、
15the seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Happizzez;
16第十九はペタフヤに、第二十はエヘズケルに、
16the nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezkel;
17第二十一はヤキンに、第二十二はガムルに、
17the one and twentieth to Jachin, the two and twentieth to Gamul;
18第二十三はデラヤに、第二十四はマアズヤに当たった。
18the three and twentieth to Delaiah, the four and twentieth to Maaziah.
19これが彼らの奉仕の順序であった。彼らの父祖アロンに与えられた定めに従い、イスラエルの神、主がアロンに命じられたとおり、主の家に入って仕えた。
19These were the orderings of them in their service, to come into the house of the LORD according to the ordinance given unto them by the hand of Aaron their father, as the LORD, the God of Israel, had commanded him.
20残りのレビの子らについては、アムラムの子らではシュバエル、シュバエルの子らではエフデヤ。
20And of the rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, Shubael; of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.
21レハブヤについては、レハブヤの子らのうちイシヤがかしらであった。
21Of Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, Isshiah the chief.
22イツハル人ではシェロモテ、シェロモテの子らではヤハテ。
22Of the Izharites, Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath.
23ヘブロンの子らは、エリヤ、次男アマルヤ、三男ヤハジエル、四男エカムアム。
23And Benai, Jeriah, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.
24ウジエルの子はミカ、ミカの子らではシャミル。
24The sons of Uzziel, Micah; of the sons of Micah, Shamir.
25ミカの兄弟はイシヤ、イシヤの子らではゼカリヤ。
25The brother of Micah, Isshiah; of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.
26メラリの子らはマフリとムシ。ヤアズヤの子はベノ。
26The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi; the sons of Jaaziah, his son,
27ヤアズヤを通して生まれたメラリの子らは、ベノ、ショハム、ザクル、イブリ。
27even the sons of Merari through Jaaziah his son: Shoham, and Zaccur, and Ibri.
28マフリからはエルアザル。彼には息子がいなかった。
28Of Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons.
29キシュについては、キシュの子エラフメエル。
29Of Kish: the sons of Kish, Jerahmeel.
30ムシの子らはマフリ、エデル、エリモテ。以上が父祖の家ごとのレビの子らである。
30And the sons of Mushi: Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites after their fathers' houses.
31彼らもまた、兄弟であるアロンの子らと同じように、ダビデ王、ツァドク、アヒメレク、および祭司とレビ人の父祖の家のかしらたちの前でくじを引いた。かしらの父祖の家も、その弟の父祖の家も同じように扱われた。
31These likewise cast lots even as their brethren the sons of Aaron in the presence of David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the heads of the fathers' houses of the priests and of the Levites; the fathers' houses of the chief even as those of his younger brother.
