1Проводиреві хора: Псальма Давидова. Доки Господи, будеш мене все забувати? Доки будеш ховати лице твоє від мене?
1How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD ? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
2Доки носити менї щодня думу в душі моїй, журбу в серцї моїм? Доки буде підніматись ворог мій надо мною?
2How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?
3Зглянься ж, дай відповідь, Господи, Боже мій! Просьвіти очі мої, щоб я не заснув смертю.
3Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;
4Щоб не сказав ворог мій: я подужав його. Щоб не зрадїли гонителї мої, коли захитаюсь.
4Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.
5Я же вповаю на доброту твою; серце моє нехай зрадується спасеннєм твоїм. Сьпівати му Господеві, він бо сотворив добро менї.
5But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
