1主はモーセとアロンに告げられた。
1And the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying:
2「イスラエルの子らは、それぞれ自分の旗のもと、父祖の家の旗印のもとに宿営する。会見の天幕を囲み、少し離れて宿営する。
2'The children of Israel shall pitch by their fathers' houses; every man with his own standard, according to the ensigns; a good way off shall they pitch round about the tent of meeting.
3東側、日の出る方角には、ユダの宿営の旗に属する者たちが部隊ごとに宿営する。ユダの子らの指導者は、アミナダブの子ナフションである。
3Now those that pitch on the east side toward the sunrising shall be they of the standard of the camp of Judah, according to their hosts; the prince of the children of Judah being Nahshon the son of Amminadab,
4その部隊で数えられた者は、七万四千六百人であった。
4and his host, and those that were numbered of them, threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred;
5その隣にはイッサカルの部族が宿営する。イッサカルの子らの指導者は、ツアルの子ネタネルである。
5and those that pitch next unto him shall be the tribe of Issachar; the prince of the children of Issachar being Nethanel the son of Zuar,
6その部隊で数えられた者は、五万四千四百人であった。
6and his host, even those that were numbered thereof, fifty and four thousand and four hundred;
7ゼブルンの部族。ゼブルンの子らの指導者は、ヘロンの子エリアブである。
7and the tribe of Zebulun; the prince of the children of Zebulun being Eliab the son of Helon,
8その部隊で数えられた者は、五万七千四百人であった。
8and his host, and those that were numbered thereof, fifty and seven thousand and four hundred;
9ユダの宿営で数えられた者の総数は、部隊ごとに十八万六千四百人であった。彼らは先頭に立って出発する。
9all that were numbered of the camp of Judah being a hundred thousand and fourscore thousand and six thousand and four hundred, according to their hosts; they shall set forth first.
10南側には、ルベンの宿営の旗に属する者たちが部隊ごとに宿営する。ルベンの子らの指導者は、シェデウルの子エリツルである。
10On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben according to their hosts; the prince of the children of Reuben being Elizur the son of Shedeur,
11その部隊で数えられた者は、四万六千五百人であった。
11and his host, and those that were numbered thereof, forty and six thousand and five hundred;
12その隣にはシメオンの部族が宿営する。シメオンの子らの指導者は、ツリシャダイの子シェルミエルである。
12and those that pitch next unto him shall be the tribe of Simeon; the prince of the children of Simeon being Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai,
13その部隊で数えられた者は、五万九千三百人であった。
13and his host, and those that were numbered of them, fifty and nine thousand and three hundred;
14ガドの部族。ガドの子らの指導者は、レウエルの子エリアサフである。
14and the tribe of Gad; the prince of the children of Gad being Eliasaph the son of Reuel,
15その部隊で数えられた者は、四万五千六百五十人であった。
15and his host, even those that were numbered of them, forty and five thousand and six hundred and fifty;
16ルベンの宿営で数えられた者の総数は、部隊ごとに十五万一千四百五十人であった。彼らは二番目に出発する。
16all that were numbered of the camp of Reuben being a hundred thousand and fifty and one thousand and four hundred and fifty, according to their hosts; and they shall set forth second.
17次に、レビ人の宿営とともに会見の天幕が、各宿営の中央を進む。宿営した順に出発し、それぞれ自分の位置を守って、旗印ごとに進む。
17Then the tent of meeting, with the camp of the Levites, shall set forward in the midst of the camps; as they encamp, so shall they set forward, every man in his place, by their standards.
18西側には、エフライムの宿営の旗に属する者たちが部隊ごとに宿営する。エフライムの子らの指導者は、アミフデの子エリシャマである。
18On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their hosts; the prince of the children of Ephraim being Elishama the son of Ammihud,
19その部隊で数えられた者は、四万五百人であった。
19and his host, and those that were numbered of them, forty thousand and five hundred;
20その隣にはマナセの部族が宿営する。マナセの子らの指導者は、ペダツルの子ガマリエルである。
20and next unto him shall be the tribe of Manasseh; the prince of the children of Manasseh being Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur,
21その部隊で数えられた者は、三万二千二百人であった。
21and his host, and those that were numbered of them, thirty and two thousand and two hundred;
22ベニヤミンの部族。ベニヤミンの子らの指導者は、ギデオニの子アビダンである。
22and the tribe of Benjamin; the prince of the children of Benjamin being Abidan the son of Gideoni,
23その部隊で数えられた者は、三万五千四百人であった。
23and his host, and those that were numbered of them, thirty and five thousand and four hundred;
24エフライムの宿営で数えられた者の総数は、部隊ごとに十万八千百人であった。彼らは三番目に出発する。
24all that were numbered of the camp of Ephraim being a hundred thousand and eight thousand and a hundred, according to their hosts; and they shall set forth third.
25北側には、ダンの宿営の旗に属する者たちが部隊ごとに宿営する。ダンの子らの指導者は、アミシャダイの子アヒエゼルである。
25On the north side shall be the standard of the camp of Dan according to their hosts; the prince of the children of Dan being Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai,
26その部隊で数えられた者は、六万二千七百人であった。
26and his host, and those that were numbered of them, threescore and two thousand and seven hundred;
27その隣にはアシェルの部族が宿営する。アシェルの子らの指導者は、オクランの子パギエルである。
27and those that pitch next unto him shall be the tribe of Asher; the prince of the children of Asher being Pagiel the son of Ochran,
28その部隊で数えられた者は、四万一千五百人であった。
28and his host, and those that were numbered of them, forty and one thousand and five hundred;
29ナフタリの部族。ナフタリの子らの指導者は、エナンの子アヒラである。
29and the tribe of Naphtali; the prince of the children of Naphtali being Ahira the son of Enan,
30その部隊で数えられた者は、五万三千四百人であった。
30and his host, and those that were numbered of them, fifty and three thousand and four hundred;
31ダンの宿営で数えられた者の総数は、十五万七千六百人であった。彼らはその旗に従って、最後に出発する。」
31all that were numbered of the camp of Dan being a hundred thousand and fifty and seven thousand and six hundred; they shall set forth hindmost by their standards.'
32これらが、父祖の家ごとに数えられたイスラエルの子らである。部隊ごとに宿営で数えられた者の総数は、六十万三千五百五十人であった。
32These are they that were numbered of the children of Israel by their fathers' houses; all that were numbered of the camps according to their hosts were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
33しかし、主がモーセに命じられたとおり、レビ人はイスラエルの子らの中には数えられなかった。
33But the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.
34イスラエルの子らはそのとおりに行った。主がモーセに命じられたとおり、旗印ごとに宿営し、それぞれの氏族、父祖の家ごとに出発した。
34Thus did the children of Israel: according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so they pitched by their standards, and so they set forward, each one according to its families, and according to its fathers' houses.
