1主はモーセとアロンに告げられた。
1And the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying:
2「レビの子らの中から、ケハテの子らを氏族ごと、父祖の家ごとに数え上げなさい。
2'Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, by their families, by their fathers' houses,
3三十歳以上五十歳までで、会見の天幕の務めに就き、奉仕するすべての者を数えなさい。
3from thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter upon the service, to do work in the tent of meeting.
4会見の天幕におけるケハテの子らの奉仕、すなわち最も聖なるものに関する務めは次のとおりである。
4This is the service of the sons of Kohath in the tent of meeting, about the most holy things:
5宿営を移すとき、アロンとその子らは中に入り、仕切りの垂れ幕を取り外して、証しの箱をそれで覆う。
5when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall go in, and his sons, and they shall take down the veil of the screen, and cover the ark of the testimony with it;
6その上にアザラシの皮の覆いを掛け、さらに青い布を広げ、担ぎ棒を通す。
6and shall put thereon a covering of sealskin, and shall spread over it a cloth all of blue, and shall set the staves thereof.
7臨在のパンの机の上に青い布を広げ、その上に皿、さじ、鉢、注ぎのささげ物に用いる杯を置く。絶えず供えるパンもその上に置く。
7And upon the table of showbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the pans, and the bowls, and the jars wherewith to pour out; and the continual bread shall remain thereon.
8その上に緋色の布を広げ、アザラシの皮の覆いを掛け、担ぎ棒を通す。
8And they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of sealskin, and shall set the staves thereof.
9青い布を取り、明かりの燭台とそのともしび、芯切りばさみ、芯取り皿、および奉仕に用いるすべての油の器を覆う。
9And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and its lamps, and its tongs, and its snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it.
10それとすべての器具をアザラシの皮の覆いに包み、担ぎ台の上に載せる。
10And they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of sealskin, and shall put it upon a bar.
11金の祭壇の上に青い布を広げ、アザラシの皮の覆いを掛け、担ぎ棒を通す。
11And upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of sealskin, and shall set the staves thereof.
12聖所で奉仕するために用いるすべての器具を取り、青い布に包み、アザラシの皮の覆いを掛け、担ぎ台の上に載せる。
12And they shall take all the vessels of ministry, wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of sealskin, and shall put them on a bar.
13祭壇から灰を取り除き、その上に紫の布を広げる。
13And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon.
14その上に、祭壇の奉仕に用いるすべての器具、すなわち火皿、肉刺し、シャベル、鉢など、祭壇のすべての器具を置く。さらにアザラシの皮の覆いを広げ、担ぎ棒を通す。
14And they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about it, the fire-pans, the flesh-hooks, and the shovels, and the basins, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of sealskin, and set the staves thereof.
15宿営を移すとき、アロンとその子らが聖所とそのすべての器具を覆い終えた後で、ケハテの子らが来てこれらを担ぐ。ただし、死ぬことのないよう、聖なるものに触れてはならない。以上が、会見の天幕に属するもののうち、ケハテの子らが担う荷である。
15And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the holy furniture, and all the holy vessels, as the camp is to set forward — after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear them; but they shall not touch the holy things, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tent of meeting.
16祭司アロンの子エルアザルは、明かりの油、香り高い香、絶えずささげる穀物のささげ物、注ぎ油を受け持ち、幕屋全体とその中にあるすべてのもの、すなわち聖所とその器具を管理する。」
16And the charge of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the continual meal-offering, and the anointing oil: he shall have the charge of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, whether it be the sanctuary, or the furniture thereof.'
17主はモーセとアロンに告げられた。
17And the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying:
18「ケハテ人の諸氏族を、レビ人の中から絶やしてはならない。
18'Cut ye not off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites;
19彼らが最も聖なるものに近づくとき、死なずに生きられるよう、次のようにしなさい。アロンとその子らが中に入り、それぞれに奉仕と荷を割り当てる。
19but thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden;
20彼らは中に入って、聖なるものを一目でも見てはならない。死ぬことのないためである。」
20but they shall not go in to see the holy things as they are being covered, lest they die.'
21主はモーセに告げられた。
21And the LORD spoke unto Moses saying:
22「ゲルションの子らについても、父祖の家ごと、氏族ごとに数え上げなさい。
22'Take the sum of the sons of Gershon also, by their fathers' houses, by their families;
23三十歳以上五十歳までで、会見の天幕の務めに就き、奉仕するすべての者を数えなさい。
23from thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them: all that enter in to wait upon the service, to do service in the tent of meeting.
24ゲルション人の諸氏族が奉仕し、荷を担う務めは次のとおりである。
24This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, in serving and in bearing burdens:
25彼らは幕屋の幕、会見の天幕とその覆い、その上にあるアザラシの皮の覆い、会見の天幕の入口の垂れ幕、
25they shall bear the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tent of meeting, its covering, and the covering of sealskin that is above upon it, and the screen for the door of the tent of meeting;
26庭の掛け幕、幕屋と祭壇を囲む庭の入口の垂れ幕、そのひも、奉仕に用いるすべての器具を運び、これらに関するすべての務めを果たす。
26and the hangings of the court, and the screen for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and whatsoever there may be to do with them, therein shall they serve.
27ゲルションの子らのすべての荷と奉仕は、アロンとその子らの指示に従う。あなたがたは、彼らが担うすべての務めを割り当てなさい。
27At the commandment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burden, and in all their service; and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burden.
28以上が、会見の天幕におけるゲルション人の諸氏族の奉仕である。彼らの務めは祭司アロンの子イタマルの監督のもとに置かれる。
28This is the service of the families of the sons of the Gershonites in the tent of meeting; and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
29メラリの子らについては、氏族ごと、父祖の家ごとに彼らを数えなさい。
29As for the sons of Merari, thou shalt number them by their families, by their fathers' houses;
30三十歳以上五十歳までで、会見の天幕の務めに就き、奉仕するすべての者を数えなさい。
30from thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shalt thou number them, every one that entereth upon the service, to do the work of the tent of meeting.
31会見の天幕で彼らが担う荷は、幕屋の板、横木、柱、台座、
31And this is the charge of their burden, according to all their service in the tent of meeting: the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and the sockets thereof;
32庭を囲む柱、その台座、杭、ひも、およびこれらのすべての器具である。担う器具を一つずつ名を挙げて割り当てなさい。
32and the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, even all their appurtenance, and all that pertaineth to their service; and by name ye shall appoint the instruments of the charge of their burden.
33以上が、会見の天幕におけるメラリの子らの諸氏族の奉仕であり、祭司アロンの子イタマルの監督のもとで行われる。」
33This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the tent of meeting, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.'
34モーセとアロン、および会衆の指導者たちは、ケハテの子らを氏族ごと、父祖の家ごとに数えた。
34And Moses and Aaron and the princes of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites by their families, and by their fathers' houses,
35三十歳以上五十歳までで、会見の天幕の務めに就いて奉仕するすべての者である。
35from thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entered upon the service, for service in the tent of meeting.
36氏族ごとに数えられた者は、二千七百五十人であった。
36And those that were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred and fifty.
37以上が、会見の天幕で奉仕するケハテ人の諸氏族から数えられた者たちであり、主がモーセを通して命じられたとおり、モーセとアロンが数えた。
37These are they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, of all that did serve in the tent of meeting, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
38ゲルションの子らのうち、氏族ごと、父祖の家ごとに数えられた者は、
38And those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon, by their families, and by their fathers' houses,
39三十歳以上五十歳までで、会見の天幕の務めに就いて奉仕するすべての者、
39from thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entered upon the service, for service in the tent of meeting,
40すなわち、氏族ごと、父祖の家ごとに数えられた者は、二千六百三十人であった。
40even those that were numbered of them, by their families, by their fathers' houses, were two thousand and six hundred and thirty.
41以上が、会見の天幕で奉仕するゲルションの子らの諸氏族から数えられた者たちであり、主の命令に従って、モーセとアロンが数えた。
41These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that did serve in the tent of meeting, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of the LORD.
42メラリの子らの諸氏族から、氏族ごと、父祖の家ごとに数えられた者は、
42And those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, by their families, by their fathers' houses,
43三十歳以上五十歳までで、会見の天幕の務めに就いて奉仕するすべての者、
43from thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entered upon the service, for service in the tent of meeting,
44すなわち、氏族ごとに数えられた者は、三千二百人であった。
44even those that were numbered of them by their families, were three thousand and two hundred.
45以上が、主がモーセを通して命じられたとおり、モーセとアロンが数えたメラリの子らの諸氏族の者たちである。
45These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
46モーセとアロン、およびイスラエルの指導者たちは、レビ人を氏族ごと、父祖の家ごとに数えた。
46All those that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the princes of Israel numbered, by their families, and by their fathers' houses,
47三十歳以上五十歳までで、会見の天幕における奉仕と荷を担う務めに就くすべての者である。
47from thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entered in to do the work of service, and the work of bearing burdens in the tent of meeting,
48すなわち数えられた者は、八千五百八十人であった。
48even those that were numbered of them, were eight thousand and five hundred and fourscore.
49主の命令に従い、モーセはそれぞれを奉仕と荷に応じて数えた。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。
49According to the commandment of the LORD they were appointed by the hand of Moses, every one to his service, and to his burden; they were also numbered, as the LORD commanded Moses.
