1Се книга роду Адамового: У той день, як сотворив Бог чоловіка, в образ Божий сотворив його.
1This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made He him;
2Мужа і жену сотворив їх, і благословив їх і нарече назву їм людина в той день, як сотворив їх.
2male and female created He them, and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
3Поживши ж Адам двісьтї і трийцять год, появив сина в свій вид і в свій образ і дав імя йому Сет.
3And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth.
4Віку Адамового після того, як появив Сета, було вісїм сот год, і появив сини й дочки.
4And the days of Adam after he begot Seth were eight hundred years; and he begot sons and daughters.
5А всього віку Адамового було девять сот і трийцять год, і вмер.
5And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died.
6Як було ж Сетові сто і пять год, появив Еноса.
6And Seth lived a hundred and five years, and begot Enosh.
7Як родився ж Енос, жив іще Сет вісїм сот і сїм год, і появив сини і дочки.
7And Seth lived after he begot Enosh eight hundred and seven years, and begot sons and daughters.
8А всього віку Сетового було девять сот і дванайцять год, і вмер.
8And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years; and he died.
9Як було ж Еносові девятьдесять год, появив Кенана.
9And Enosh lived ninety years, and begot Kenan.
10І прожив Енос, появивши Кенана, вісїм сот і пятнайцять год, і появив сини і дочки.
10And Enosh lived after he begot Kenan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begot sons and daughters.
11А всього віку Еносового девятьсот і пять год, і вмер.
11And all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years; and he died.
12Як було ж Кенанові сїмдесять год, появив Магалалеля.
12And Kenan lived seventy years, and begot Mahalalel.
13І прожив Кенан появивши Магалалеля вісїм сот і сорок год, і появив сини і дочки.
13And Kenan lived after he begot Mahalalel eight hundred and forty years, and begot sons and daughters.
14А всього віку Кенанового було девятьсот і десять год, і вмер.
14And all the days of Kenan were nine hundred and ten years; and he died.
15І прожив Магалалель шісьдесять і пять год, і появив Яреда.
15And Mahalalel lived sixty and five years, and begot Jared.
16І прожив Магалалель появивши Яреда вісїм сот і трийцять год, і появив сини і дочки.
16And Mahalalel lived after he begot Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begot sons and daughters.
17А всього віку Магалалелевого було вісїм сот і девятьдесять і пять і вмер.
17And all the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred ninety and five years; and he died.
18І прожив Яред сто і шісьдесять і два годи, і появив Геноха.
18And Jared lived a hundred sixty and two years, and begot Enoch.
19І прожив Яред, появивши Геноха, вісїм сот год, і появив сини і дочки.
19And Jared lived after he begot Enoch eight hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.
20А всього віку Яредового було девятьсот і шісьдесять і два годи, і вмер.
20And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years; and he died.
21І прожив Генох шісьдесять і пять год, і появив Метусалу.
21And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begot Methuselah.
22І ходив Генох з Богом, появивши Метусалу, три ста год, і появив сини і дочки.
22And Enoch walked with God after he begot Methuselah three hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.
23А всього віку Генохового було триста і шісьдесять і пять год.
23And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years.
24І ходив Генох з Богом, і не стало його: бо взяв його Бог.
24And Enoch walked with God, and he was not; for God took him.
25І прожив Метусала сто і вісїм десять год, і появив Ламеха.
25And Methuselah lived a hundred eighty and seven years, and begot Lamech.
26І прожив Метусала появивши Ламеха сїм сот і вісїмдесять і два годи, і появив сини і дочки.
26And Methuselah lived after he begot Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begot sons and daughters.
27А всього віку Метусалового було девятьсот і шісьдесять і девять, і вмер.
27And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years; and he died.
28І прожив Ламех сто і вісїмдесять і два годи, і появив сина.
28And Lamech lived a hundred eighty and two years, and begot a son.
29І дав йому імя Нояг, каже бо: Сей розважати ме нас у працї нашій та в знемозї рук наших, як поратимем землю, що прокляв Господь Бог.
29And he called his name Noah, saying: 'This same shall comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, which cometh from the ground which the LORD hath cursed.'
30І жив Ламех появивши Нояга пятьсот і девятьдесять і пять год, і появив сини і дочки.
30And Lamech lived after he begot Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begot sons and daughters.
31А всього віку Ламехового було сїм сот і сїмдесять і сїм год, і вмер.
31And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years; and he died.
32Як було ж Ноягові пятьсот год віку, появив Сема, Хама і Яфета.
32And Noah was five hundred years old; and Noah begot Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
