1Adam ih caanawk anghumhaih kawng loe hae tiah oh. Sithaw mah kami sak naah, Sithaw angmah krang hoi kanghmong ah anih to sak.
1This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made He him;
2Nongpa hoi nongpata to a sak moe, nihnik to tahamhoihaih paek; nihnik sak na niah nihnik ih ahmin to Adam, tiah ahmin paek.
2male and female created He them, and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
3Adam loe saning cumvai, qui thumto hing naah, angmah baktiah kaom, angmah krang hoi kanghmong capa maeto sak; anih ih ahmin to Seth, tiah a sak.
3And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth.
4Seth tapen pacoengah, Adam loe saning cumvai tazetto hing moe, kalah capa hoi canunawk doeh sak vop.
4And the days of Adam after he begot Seth were eight hundred years; and he begot sons and daughters.
5Adam loe saning cumvai takawt, qui thumto hing pacoengah duek.
5And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died.
6Seth loe saning cumvaito pacoeng, pangato hing naah, Enos to sak.
6And Seth lived a hundred and five years, and begot Enosh.
7Enos tapen pacoengah, Seth loe saning cumvai tazet, pangato hing moe, kalah capa hoi canunawk doeh a sak vop.
7And Seth lived after he begot Enosh eight hundred and seven years, and begot sons and daughters.
8Seth loe saning cumvai takawt, hatlai hnetto hing pacoengah duek.
8And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years; and he died.
9Enos loe saning qui takawtto hing naah, Kainan to sak;
9And Enosh lived ninety years, and begot Kenan.
10Enosh loe Kainan tapen pacoengah, saning cumvai tazet, hatlai pangato hing moe, kalah capa hoi canunawk doeh sak vop;
10And Enosh lived after he begot Kenan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begot sons and daughters.
11Enos loe saning cumvai takawt, pangato hing pacoengah duek.
11And all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years; and he died.
12Kainan loe saning qui sarihto hing naah, Mahalalel to sak.
12And Kenan lived seventy years, and begot Mahalalel.
13Mahalalel tapen pacoengah Kainan loe, saning cumvai tazet, qui palito hing moe, kalah capa hoi canunawk doeh a sak vop.
13And Kenan lived after he begot Mahalalel eight hundred and forty years, and begot sons and daughters.
14Kainan loe saning cumvai takawt, hato hing pacoengah duek.
14And all the days of Kenan were nine hundred and ten years; and he died.
15Mahalalel loe saning qui taruk, pangato hing naah, Jared to sak;
15And Mahalalel lived sixty and five years, and begot Jared.
16Mahalalel loe Jared tapen pacoengah, saning cumvai tazet, qui thumto hing moe, kalah capa hoi canunawk doeh sak vop.
16And Mahalalel lived after he begot Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begot sons and daughters.
17Mahalel loe saning cumvai tazet, qui takawt, pangato hing pacoengah duek.
17And all the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred ninety and five years; and he died.
18Jared loe saning cumvai qui taruk, hnetto hing naah, Enok to sak.
18And Jared lived a hundred sixty and two years, and begot Enoch.
19Jared loe Enok tapen pacoengah, saning cumvai tazetto hing moe, kalah capa hoi canunawk doeh sak vop.
19And Jared lived after he begot Enoch eight hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.
20Jared loe saning cumvai takawt, qui taruk, hnetto hing pacoengah duek.
20And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years; and he died.
21Enok loe saning qui tarukto pacoeng, saning pangato hing naah, Methuselah to sak.
21And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begot Methuselah.
22Enok loe Methuselah tapen pacoengah, saning cumvai thumto thung Sithaw hoi nawnto lam caeh; to pacoengah doeh kalah capa hoi canunawk to sak vop.
22And Enoch walked with God after he begot Methuselah three hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.
23Enok loe saning cumvai thum, qui tarukto pacoeng, pangato hing.
23And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years.
24Enok loe Sithaw hoi nawnto lam caeh pacoengah, Sithaw mah lak ving boeh pongah, om ai boeh.
24And Enoch walked with God, and he was not; for God took him.
25Methuselah loe saning cumvai qui tazetto pacoeng, sarihto hing naah, Lamek to sak.
25And Methuselah lived a hundred eighty and seven years, and begot Lamech.
26Methuselah loe Lamek tapen pacoengah, saning cumvai sarih, qui tazet, hnetto hing moe, kalah capa hoi canunawk doeh sak vop.
26And Methuselah lived after he begot Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begot sons and daughters.
27Methuselah loe saning cumvai takawt, qui taruk, saning takawtto hing pacoengah duek.
27And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years; and he died.
28Lamek loe saning cumvai qui tazet, hnetto hing naah, capa maeto sak;
28And Lamech lived a hundred eighty and two years, and begot a son.
29Angraeng mah tangoeng ih long ah, ban hoi toksak patangh naah, anih mah monghaih na paek tih, tiah a poek pongah anih ih ahmin to Noah, tiah sak.
29And he called his name Noah, saying: 'This same shall comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, which cometh from the ground which the LORD hath cursed.'
30Lamek loe Noah tapen pacoeng, saning cumvai panga, qui takawt, pangato hing moe, kalah capa hoi canunawk doeh sak vop.
30And Lamech lived after he begot Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begot sons and daughters.
31Lamek loe saning cumvai sarih, qui sarih, sarihto hing pacoengah duek.
31And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years; and he died.
32Noah loe saning cumvai pangato hing naah, Shem, Ham hoi Japheth to sak.
32And Noah was five hundred years old; and Noah begot Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
