1အာဒံ ၏သားစဉ်မြေးစက် စာရင်း ဟူမူကား၊ လူ ကို ဖန်ဆင်း တော်မူသောကာလ ၌ ၊ မိမိ ပုံသဏ္ဍာန် နှင့်အညီ၊ ဘုရား သခင်ဖန်ဆင်း တော်မူ၏။
1This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made He him;
2လူယောက်ျား လူမိန်းမ ကို ဖန်ဆင်း ၍ ၊ ကောင်းကြီး ပေးတော်မူ၏။ ဖန်ဆင်း သောနေ့ ၌ လည်း သူ တို့ကို အာဒံ အမည် ဖြင့် မှည့် တော်မူ၏။
2male and female created He them, and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
3အာဒံ သည် အသက် တရာ့ သုံး ဆယ်ရှိသော်၊ မိမိ ပုံသဏ္ဍာန် နှင့်အညီသဏ္ဍာန် တည်းသားကိုမြင် ရ၍ ရှေသ အမည် ဖြင့် မှည့် လေ၏။
3And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth.
4ရှေသ ကို ဘွားမြင် သောနောက် အာဒံ သည် အနှစ် ရှစ် ရာ အသက်ရှင်၍၊ သား သမီး များကိုမြင် လေ၏။
4And the days of Adam after he begot Seth were eight hundred years; and he begot sons and daughters.
5အာဒံ သည် အသက် နှစ် ပေါင်း ကိုး ရာ သုံး ဆယ် စေ့သော် သေ လေ၏။
5And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died.
6ရှေသ သည် အသက် တရာ ငါး နှစ် ရှိသော်၊ သားဧနုတ် ကို မြင် လေ၏။
6And Seth lived a hundred and five years, and begot Enosh.
7ဧနုတ် ဘွားမြင် သောနောက် ၊ ရှေသ သည် အနှစ် ရှစ် ရာ ခုနှစ် နှစ် အသက် ရှင်၍ ၊ သား သမီး များကို မြင် လေ ၏။
7And Seth lived after he begot Enosh eight hundred and seven years, and begot sons and daughters.
8ရှေလ သည် အသက် နှစ် ပေါင်းကိုး ရာ တဆယ် နှစ် နှစ် စေ့သော် သေ လေ၏။
8And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years; and he died.
9ဧနုတ် သည် အသက် ကိုး ဆယ်ရှိသော်၊ သား ကာဣနန် ကို မြင် လေ၏။
9And Enosh lived ninety years, and begot Kenan.
10ကာဣနန် ဘွားမြင် သောနောက် ၊ ဧနုတ် သည် အနှစ် ရှစ် ရာ တဆယ် ငါး နှစ် အသက် ရှင်၍ သား သမီး များ ကို မြင် လေ၏။
10And Enosh lived after he begot Kenan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begot sons and daughters.
11ဧနုတ် သည် အသက် နှစ် ပေါင်းကိုး ရာ ငါး နှစ် စေ့ သော်သေ လေ၏။
11And all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years; and he died.
12ကာဣနန် သည် အသက် ခုနစ် ဆယ်ရှိသော်၊ သားမဟာလေလ ကို မြင် လေ၏။
12And Kenan lived seventy years, and begot Mahalalel.
13မဟာလေလ ဘွား မြင်သောနောက် ၊ ကာဣနန် သည် အနှစ် ရှစ် ရာ လေး ဆယ်အသက် ရှင်၍ ၊ သား သမီး များကို မြင် လေ၏။
13And Kenan lived after he begot Mahalalel eight hundred and forty years, and begot sons and daughters.
14ကာဣနန် သည် အသက် နှစ် ပေါင်းကိုး ရာ တဆယ့် စေ့ သော် သေ လေ၏။
14And all the days of Kenan were nine hundred and ten years; and he died.

15And Mahalalel lived sixty and five years, and begot Jared.

16And Mahalalel lived after he begot Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begot sons and daughters.

17And all the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred ninety and five years; and he died.

18And Jared lived a hundred sixty and two years, and begot Enoch.

19And Jared lived after he begot Enoch eight hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.

21And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begot Methuselah.
22မသုရှလ ဘွားမြင် သောနောက် ဧနောက် သည် အနှစ် သုံး ရာ ပတ်လုံးဘုရား သခင်နှင့်အတူ သွား လာ၍ သား သမီး များကို မြင် လေ၏။
22And Enoch walked with God after he begot Methuselah three hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.
23ဧနောက် အသက် နှစ် ပေါင်းသုံး ရာ ခြောက် ဆယ်ငါး နှစ် တည်း၊
23And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years.
24ဧနောက် သည် ဘုရား သခင်နှင့်အတူ သွား လာ၏။ နောက် တဖန် သူ သည်မ ရှိ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ဘုရား သခင် သိမ်းယူ တော်မူသောကြောင့် တည်း။
24And Enoch walked with God, and he was not; for God took him.

25And Methuselah lived a hundred eighty and seven years, and begot Lamech.
26လာမက် ဘွားမြင် သောနောက် ၊ မသုရှလ သည် အနှစ် ခုနှစ် ရာ ရှစ် ဆယ်နှစ် နှစ် အသက် ရှင်၍ သား သမီး များကို မြင် လေ၏။
26And Methuselah lived after he begot Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begot sons and daughters.
27မသုရှလ သည် အသက် နှစ် ပေါင်းကိုး ရာ ခြောက် ဆယ် ကိုး နှစ် စေ့ သော် သေ လေ၏။
27And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years; and he died.
28လာမက် သည် အသက် တ ရာရှစ် ဆယ်နှစ် နှစ် ရှိသော်သား ကို မြင် ၍၊
28And Lamech lived a hundred eighty and two years, and begot a son.
29ဤ သူသည်ကား၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ကျိန် တော်မူသောမြေ ၌ လုပ် ၍ ပင်ပန်း စွာ ခံရသောငါ တို့အား သက်သာ စေသောသူဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်ဟူ၍ သူ့ကိုနောဧ ဟူသောအမည် ဖြင့် မှည့် လေ၏။
29And he called his name Noah, saying: 'This same shall comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, which cometh from the ground which the LORD hath cursed.'
30နောဧ ဘွားမြင် သောနောက် ၊ လာမက် သည် အနှစ် ငါး ရာ ကိုး ဆယ်ငါး နှစ် အသက် ရှင်၍ သား သမီး များ ကို မြင် လေ၏။
30And Lamech lived after he begot Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begot sons and daughters.
31လာမက် သည် အသက် နှစ် ပေါင်း ခုနှစ် ရာ ခုနစ် ဆယ် ခုနစ် နှစ် စေ့ သော်သေ လေ၏။
31And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years; and he died.
32နောဧ သည် အသက် ငါး ရာ ရှိ ၏။ နောဧ သား ကား၊ ရှေမ ၊ ဟာမ ၊ ယာဖက် တည်း။
32And Noah was five hundred years old; and Noah begot Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
