Jeremiah 45

1The word that Jeremiah the prophet spoke unto Baruch the son of Neriah, when he wrote these words in a book at the mouth of Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, saying:
1ข่าวสารที่เยเรมีย์ผู้เผยพระวจนะกล่าวกับบารุค บุตรเนริยาห์ เมื่อบารุคเขียนถ้อยคำเหล่านี้ในหนังสือตามที่เยเรมีย์พูด ในปีที่สี่แห่งรัชกาลเยโฮยาคิม บุตรโยสิยาห์ กษัตริย์ยูดาห์ว่า
2'Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning thee, O Baruch: Thou didst say:
2“พระยาห์เวห์ พระเจ้าของอิสราเอล กล่าวกับเจ้า บารุค ดังนี้
3Woe is me now! for the LORD hath added sorrow to my pain; I am weary with my groaning, and I find no rest.
3‘เจ้าพูดว่า “บัดนี้วิบัติแก่ข้าพเจ้า! เพราะพระยาห์เวห์เพิ่มความเศร้าให้ความเจ็บปวดของข้าพเจ้า! ข้าพเจ้าเหนื่อยกับการคร่ำครวญ และไม่ได้พักเลย”’
4Thus shalt thou say unto him: Thus saith the LORD: Behold, that which I have built will I break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up; and this in the whole land.
4“จงบอกเขาว่า พระยาห์เวห์กล่าวดังนี้ ‘จงฟัง สิ่งที่เราสร้าง เราจะรื้อลง สิ่งที่เราปลูก เราจะถอนขึ้น และจะทำอย่างนี้ทั่วทั้งดินแดน
5And seekest thou great things for thyself? seek them not; for, behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, saith the LORD; but thy life will I give unto thee for a prey in all places whither thou goest.'
5เจ้าแสวงหาสิ่งใหญ่โตให้ตัวเองหรือ? อย่าแสวงหาเลย เพราะดูเถิด เราจะนำภัยร้ายมาสู่มนุษย์ทั้งปวง’ พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว ‘แต่เราจะให้เจ้าเอาชีวิตรอด ไม่ว่าเจ้าไปที่ไหน’”
