1Woe unto the shepherds that destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasture! saith the LORD.
1“วิบัติจงเกิดแก่ผู้เลี้ยงที่ทำลายและกระจายแกะในทุ่งของเรา!” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว
2Therefore thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, against the shepherds that feed My people: Ye have scattered My flock, and driven them away, and have not taken care of them; behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.
2เพราะฉะนั้น พระยาห์เวห์ พระเจ้าของอิสราเอลกล่าวโทษผู้เลี้ยงที่เลี้ยงดูชนชาติของเราว่า “พวกเจ้าทำให้ฝูงแกะของเรากระจัดกระจาย ขับไล่พวกเขาไป และไม่ได้ดูแลพวกเขา จงฟัง เราจะมาลงโทษความชั่วที่พวกเจ้าทำ” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว
3And I will gather the remnant of My flock out of all the countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them back to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and multiply.
3“เราจะรวบรวมฝูงแกะของเราที่เหลืออยู่จากทุกแผ่นดินที่เราขับไล่ไป พากลับเข้าคอก พวกเขาจะมีลูกและเพิ่มจำนวน
4And I will set up shepherds over them, who shall feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall any be lacking, saith the LORD.
4เราจะตั้งผู้เลี้ยงไว้เหนือพวกเขาเพื่อเลี้ยงดู จะไม่กลัวหรือหวาดหวั่นอีก จะไม่มีใครขาดหาย” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว
5Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous shoot, and he shall reign as king and prosper, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.
5“จงฟัง วันเวลาจะมาถึง” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “เมื่อเราจะทำให้กิ่งที่เที่ยงธรรมเกิดขึ้นแก่ดาวิด เขาจะครองราชย์เป็นกษัตริย์และดำเนินการอย่างมีปัญญา จะให้ความยุติธรรมและความเที่ยงธรรมในแผ่นดิน
6In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely; and this is his name whereby he shall be called, The LORD is our righteousness.
6ในสมัยของเขา ยูดาห์จะรอด อิสราเอลจะอยู่ปลอดภัย นี่คือชื่อที่จะใช้เรียกเขา พระยาห์เวห์คือความเที่ยงธรรมของพวกเรา
7Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say: 'As the LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt';
7“เพราะฉะนั้น จงฟัง วันเวลาจะมาถึง” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “เมื่อจะไม่มีใครพูดอีกว่า ‘พระยาห์เวห์ผู้พาลูกหลานอิสราเอลออกจากแผ่นดินอียิปต์มีชีวิตอยู่แน่ฉันใด’
8but: 'As the LORD liveth, that brought up and that led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all the countries whither I had driven them'; and they shall dwell in their own land.
8แต่จะพูดว่า ‘พระยาห์เวห์ผู้พาและนำเชื้อสายชนอิสราเอลออกจากแผ่นดินทางเหนือ และจากทุกแผ่นดินที่เราเคยขับไล่ไปมีชีวิตอยู่แน่ฉันใด’ แล้วพวกเขาจะอาศัยในแผ่นดินของตน”
9Concerning the prophets. My heart within me is broken, all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome; because of the LORD, and because of His holy words.
9เรื่องผู้เผยพระวจนะ ใจข้าพเจ้าแตกสลาย กระดูกทุกชิ้นสั่น ข้าพเจ้าเหมือนคนเมา เหมือนคนที่เหล้าองุ่นเอาชนะ เพราะพระยาห์เวห์ และเพราะถ้อยคำบริสุทธิ์ของพระองค์
10For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourneth, the pastures of the wilderness are dried up; and their course is evil, and their force is not right.
10“เพราะแผ่นดินเต็มไปด้วยคนมีชู้ แผ่นดินคร่ำครวญเพราะคำสาป ทุ่งเลี้ยงสัตว์ในถิ่นกันดารแห้งแล้ว วิถีที่พวกเขาดำเนินนั้นชั่วร้าย กำลังของพวกเขาไม่ถูกต้อง
11For both prophet and priest are ungodly; yea, in My house have I found their wickedness, saith the LORD.
11เพราะทั้งผู้เผยพระวจนะและปุโรหิตไร้ความบริสุทธิ์ จริงทีเดียว ในพระนิเวศของเรา เราก็พบความชั่วของพวกเขา” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว
12Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery places in the darkness, they shall be thrust, and fall therein; for I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.
12“เพราะฉะนั้น ทางของพวกเขาจะเหมือนที่ลื่นในความมืด พวกเขาจะถูกผลักไป แล้วล้มลงที่นั่น เพราะเราจะนำภัยร้ายมาถึงพวกเขา ในปีที่พวกเขาต้องรับโทษ” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว
13And I have seen unseemliness in the prophets of Samaria: they prophesied by Baal, and caused My people Israel to err.
13“เราเห็นความเขลาของผู้เผยพระวจนะในสะมาเรีย พวกเขาพยากรณ์ในนามเทพบาอัล ทำให้อิสราเอล ชนชาติของเราหลงผิด
14But in the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen a horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies, and they strengthen the hands of evil-doers, that none doth return from his wickedness; they are all of them become unto Me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.
14ในหมู่ผู้เผยพระวจนะของเยรูซาเล็ม เราก็เห็นเรื่องน่าสยดสยอง พวกเขามีชู้และดำเนินชีวิตด้วยคำโกหก เสริมกำลังให้คนทำชั่ว จนไม่มีใครหันกลับจากความชั่ว สำหรับเรา พวกเขาทั้งหมดกลายเป็นเหมือนโสโดม ชาวเมืองก็เหมือนโกโมราห์”
15Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets: Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall; for from the prophets of Jerusalem is ungodliness gone forth into all the land.
15เพราะฉะนั้น พระยาห์เวห์แห่งกองทัพกล่าวถึงผู้เผยพระวจนะว่า “จงฟัง เราจะให้พวกเขากินวอร์มวูด และดื่มน้ำพิษ เพราะการไม่ยำเกรงพระเจ้าแพร่จากผู้เผยพระวจนะในเยรูซาเล็มไปทั่วแผ่นดิน”
16Thus saith the LORD of hosts: Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you, they lead you unto vanity; they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD.
16พระยาห์เวห์แห่งกองทัพกล่าวว่า “อย่าฟังถ้อยคำของผู้เผยพระวจนะที่พยากรณ์ให้พวกเจ้าฟัง พวกเขาสอนสิ่งไร้ค่า พูดนิมิตจากใจของตน ไม่ใช่จากปากของพระยาห์เวห์
17They say continually unto them that despise Me: 'The LORD hath said: Ye shall have peace'; and unto every one that walketh in the stubbornness of his own heart they say: 'No evil shall come upon you';
17พวกเขาพูดกับคนที่ดูหมิ่นเราอยู่เรื่อย ๆ ว่า ‘พระยาห์เวห์กล่าวว่า “พวกเจ้าจะมีความสงบสุข”’ และบอกทุกคนที่ทำตามความดื้อรั้นของใจตนว่า ‘ภัยร้ายจะไม่มาถึงพวกเจ้า’
18For who hath stood in the council of the LORD, that he should perceive and hear His word? Who hath attended to His word, and heard it?
18ใครเคยยืนในที่ประชุมของพระยาห์เวห์ จนเห็นและได้ยินคำของพระองค์? ใครใส่ใจถ้อยคำของเราและฟัง?
19Behold, a storm of the LORD is gone forth in fury, yea, a whirling storm; it shall whirl upon the head of the wicked.
19ดูเถิด พายุของพระยาห์เวห์ คือความเดือดดาลของพระองค์ ออกมาแล้ว จริงทีเดียว พายุหมุน! จะปะทุลงบนศีรษะคนชั่ว
20The anger of the LORD shall not return, until He have executed, and till He have performed the purposes of His heart; in the end of days ye shall consider it perfectly.
20ความโกรธของพระยาห์เวห์จะไม่หันกลับจนพระองค์ลงมือ ทำให้สิ่งที่ตั้งใจสำเร็จ ในวันเวลาภายหน้า พวกเจ้าจะเข้าใจอย่างถ่องแท้
21I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran; I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
21เราไม่ได้ส่งผู้เผยพระวจนะเหล่านี้ แต่พวกเขาวิ่งไป เราไม่ได้พูดกับพวกเขา แต่พวกเขาพยากรณ์
22But if they have stood in My council, then let them cause My people to hear My words, and turn them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
22ถ้าพวกเขายืนในที่ประชุมของเรา ก็คงทำให้ชนชาติของเราได้ยินถ้อยคำของเรา และทำให้หันกลับจากทางชั่ว และการกระทำอันชั่วร้าย
23Am I a God near at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?
23“เราเป็นพระเจ้าที่อยู่ใกล้” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “ไม่ใช่พระเจ้าที่อยู่ไกลด้วยหรือ?
24Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.
24ใครซ่อนตัวในที่ลับ แล้วเราไม่เห็นได้หรือ?” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “เราไม่ได้อยู่เต็มฟ้าสวรรค์และแผ่นดินหรือ?” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว
25I have heard what the prophets have said, that prophesy lies in My name, saying: 'I have dreamed, I have dreamed.'
25“เราได้ยินสิ่งที่ผู้เผยพระวจนะพูดแล้ว พวกเขาพยากรณ์เท็จในนามของเรา พูดว่า ‘ฉันฝัน! ฉันฝัน!’
26How long shall this be? Is it in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies, and the prophets of the deceit of their own heart?
26เรื่องนี้จะอยู่ในใจผู้เผยพระวจนะที่พยากรณ์เท็จอีกนานเท่าใด? พวกเขาพยากรณ์ความหลอกลวงในใจของตน
27That think to cause My people to forget My name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers forgot My name for Baal.
27พวกเขาคิดจะให้ชนชาติของเราลืมนามของเรา โดยต่างคนเล่าความฝันให้เพื่อนบ้านฟัง เหมือนที่บรรพบุรุษลืมนามของเราเพราะเทพบาอัล
28The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath My word; let him speak My word faithfully. What hath the straw to do with the wheat? saith the LORD.
28ผู้เผยพระวจนะที่มีความฝันก็จงเล่าความฝัน คนที่มีถ้อยคำของเราก็จงพูดถ้อยคำของเราอย่างซื่อตรง ฟางเกี่ยวอะไรกับข้าวสาลี?” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว
29Is not My word like as fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
29“ถ้อยคำของเราไม่เหมือนไฟหรือ?” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “และไม่เหมือนค้อนที่ทุบหินแตกหรือ?
30Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal My words every one from his neighbour.
30“เพราะฉะนั้น จงฟัง เราต่อต้านผู้เผยพระวจนะ” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “ที่ต่างขโมยถ้อยคำของเราจากเพื่อนบ้าน
31Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues and say: 'He saith.'
31จงฟัง เราต่อต้านผู้เผยพระวจนะ” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “ที่ใช้ลิ้นของตนแล้วพูดว่า ‘พระองค์กล่าว’
32Behold, I am against them that prophesy lying dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause My people to err by their lies, and by their wantonness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them; neither can they profit this people at all, saith the LORD.
32จงฟัง เราต่อต้านคนที่พยากรณ์ความฝันหลอกลวง” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “พวกเขาเล่าความฝัน ทำให้ชนชาติของเราหลงผิดด้วยคำโกหกและคำโอ้อวดไร้ค่า แต่เราไม่ได้ส่งหรือสั่ง พวกเขาไม่ช่วยชนชาตินี้เลย” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว
33And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying: 'What is the burden of the LORD?' then shalt thou say unto them: 'What burden! I will cast you off, saith the LORD.'
33“เมื่อชนชาตินี้ ผู้เผยพระวจนะหรือปุโรหิตถามเจ้าว่า ‘ข่าวสารจากพระยาห์เวห์คืออะไร?’ เจ้าจงบอกว่า ‘“ข่าวสารอะไร? เราจะคัดทิ้งพวกเจ้า” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว’
34And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say: 'The burden of the LORD', I will even punish that man and his house.
34สำหรับผู้เผยพระวจนะ ปุโรหิตและประชาชนที่พูดว่า ‘ข่าวสารจากพระยาห์เวห์’ เราจะลงโทษคนนั้นและครอบครัว
35Thus shall ye say every one to his neighbour, and every one to his brother: 'What hath the LORD answered?' and: 'What hath the LORD spoken?'
35แต่ละคนจงถามเพื่อนบ้านและพี่น้องว่า ‘พระยาห์เวห์ตอบว่าอะไร?’ และ ‘พระยาห์เวห์กล่าวว่าอะไร?’
36And the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more; for every man's own word shall be his burden; and would ye pervert the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God?
36พวกเจ้าจะไม่กล่าวถึงข่าวสารจากพระยาห์เวห์อีก เพราะถ้อยคำของแต่ละคนกลายเป็นข่าวสารของเขาเอง พวกเจ้าบิดเบือนถ้อยคำของพระเจ้าผู้มีชีวิต ของพระยาห์เวห์แห่งกองทัพ พระเจ้าของพวกเรา
37Thus shalt thou say to the prophet: 'What hath the LORD answered thee?' and: 'What hath the LORD spoken?'
37เจ้าจงถามผู้เผยพระวจนะว่า ‘พระยาห์เวห์ตอบท่านว่าอะไร?’ และ ‘พระยาห์เวห์กล่าวว่าอะไร?’
38But if ye say: 'The burden of the LORD'; therefore thus saith the LORD: Because ye say this word: 'The burden of the LORD', and I have sent unto you, saying: 'Ye shall not say: The burden of the LORD';
38แต่พวกเจ้าพูดว่า ‘ข่าวสารจากพระยาห์เวห์’ พระยาห์เวห์จึงกล่าวว่า ‘เพราะพวกเจ้าพูดคำนี้ “ข่าวสารจากพระยาห์เวห์” ทั้งที่เราส่งคนไปบอกไม่ให้พูดว่า “ข่าวสารจากพระยาห์เวห์”
39therefore, behold, I will utterly tear you out, and I will cast you off, and the city that I gave unto you and to your fathers, away from My presence;
39เพราะฉะนั้น จงฟัง เราจะลืมพวกเจ้าจนหมด จะคัดทิ้งพวกเจ้าและเมืองที่เราให้พวกเจ้ากับบรรพบุรุษ ให้พ้นหน้าเรา
40and I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.
40เราจะทำให้พวกเจ้าถูกดูหมิ่นตลอดไป อับอายตลอดกาล ไม่มีใครลืม’”
