1At that time, saith the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be My people.
1“ในเวลานั้น” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “เราจะเป็นพระเจ้าของทุกตระกูลในอิสราเอล และพวกเขาจะเป็นประชาชนของเรา”
2Thus saith the LORD: The people that were left of the sword have found grace in the wilderness, even Israel, when I go to cause him to rest.
2พระยาห์เวห์กล่าวว่า “ประชาชนที่รอดจากดาบพบความโปรดปรานในถิ่นกันดาร คืออิสราเอล เมื่อเราไปให้เขาได้พัก”
3'From afar the LORD appeared unto me.' 'Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love; therefore with affection have I drawn thee.
3พระยาห์เวห์ปรากฏแก่ข้าพเจ้าแต่โบราณกาล กล่าวว่า “จริงทีเดียว เรารักเจ้าด้วยความรักที่ยั่งยืนตลอดไป เราจึงดึงเจ้ามาด้วยความรักมั่นคง
4Again will I build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel; again shalt thou be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.
4เราจะสร้างเจ้าขึ้นใหม่ และเจ้าจะถูกสร้างขึ้น สาวพรหมจารีแห่งอิสราเอล เจ้าจะประดับตัวด้วยรำมะนาอีก และออกไปร่ายรำกับคนที่รื่นเริง
5Again shalt thou plant vineyards upon the mountains of Samaria; the planters shall plant, and shall have the use thereof.
5เจ้าจะปลูกสวนองุ่นบนภูเขาสะมาเรียอีก คนปลูกจะปลูก และได้กินผลของมัน
6For there shall be a day, that the watchmen shall call upon the mount Ephraim: arise ye, and let us go up to Zion, unto the LORD our God.'
6เพราะจะมีวันที่คนเฝ้ายามบนเนินเขาเอฟราอิมร้องว่า ‘ลุกขึ้น! ให้พวกเราขึ้นไปศิโยน ไปหาพระยาห์เวห์ พระเจ้าของพวกเรา’”
7For thus saith the LORD: Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout at the head of the nations; announce ye, praise ye, and say: 'O LORD, save Thy people, The remnant of Israel.'
7เพราะพระยาห์เวห์กล่าวว่า “จงร้องเพลงด้วยความยินดีเพื่อยาโคบ และโห่ร้องเพื่อชนชาติที่เป็นใหญ่ในหมู่ชนชาติทั้งปวง จงประกาศ สรรเสริญ และกล่าวว่า ‘พระยาห์เวห์ ขอช่วยประชาชนของพระองค์ คือผู้ที่เหลืออยู่ของอิสราเอล!’
8Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the uttermost parts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together; a great company shall they return hither.
8จงฟัง เราจะนำพวกเขามาจากดินแดนทางเหนือ และรวบรวมพวกเขาจากสุดปลายแผ่นดิน พร้อมกับคนตาบอดและคนขาเป๋ ทั้งหญิงมีครรภ์และหญิงกำลังคลอดลูก พวกเขาจะกลับมาเป็นกลุ่มใหญ่
9They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them; I will cause them to walk by rivers of waters, in a straight way wherein they shall not stumble; for I am become a father to Israel, and Ephraim is My first-born.

10Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say: 'He that scattered Israel doth gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.'
10“ชนชาติทั้งหลาย จงฟังคำจากพระยาห์เวห์ จงประกาศตามเกาะที่ห่างไกลว่า ‘ผู้ที่กระจายอิสราเอลออกไปจะรวบรวมเขา และดูแลเขาเหมือนผู้เลี้ยงแกะดูแลฝูงของตน’
11For the LORD hath ransomed Jacob, and He redeemeth him from the hand of him that is stronger than he.
11เพราะพระยาห์เวห์จ่ายค่าไถ่ยาโคบ และไถ่เขาจากมือผู้ที่แข็งแรงกว่าเขา
12And they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow unto the goodness of the LORD, to the corn, and to the wine, and to the oil, and to the young of the flock and of the herd; and their soul shall be as a watered garden, and they shall not pine any more at all.
12พวกเขาจะมาร้องเพลงบนที่สูงแห่งศิโยน จะหลั่งไหลมาสู่สิ่งดีจากพระยาห์เวห์ ทั้งข้าว เหล้าองุ่นใหม่ น้ำมัน และลูกแกะกับลูกวัว จิตใจของพวกเขาจะเป็นเหมือนสวนที่ได้รับน้ำ พวกเขาจะไม่เศร้าโศกอีกเลย
13Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, and the young men and the old together; for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
13แล้วสาวพรหมจารีจะชื่นชมกับการร่ายรำ คนหนุ่มและคนแก่จะร่วมยินดีกัน เพราะเราจะเปลี่ยนการไว้ทุกข์ของพวกเขาเป็นความยินดี จะปลอบโยนพวกเขา และเปลี่ยนความเศร้าให้เป็นความชื่นชม
14And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and My people shall be satisfied with My goodness, saith the LORD.

15Thus saith the LORD: A voice is heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping, Rachel weeping for her children; she refuseth to be comforted for her children, because they are not.
15พระยาห์เวห์กล่าวดังนี้ “ได้ยินเสียงในรามาห์ เสียงคร่ำครวญและร้องไห้อย่างขมขื่น ราเชลร้องไห้เพื่อลูก ๆ ของเธอ เธอไม่ยอมให้ใครปลอบเรื่องลูก ๆ เพราะพวกเขาไม่มีอยู่แล้ว”
16Thus saith the LORD: Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears; for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come back from the land of the enemy.
16พระยาห์เวห์กล่าวดังนี้ “จงหยุดเสียงร้องไห้ และหยุดน้ำตาจากตาเจ้า เพราะสิ่งที่เจ้าทำจะได้รับรางวัล” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “พวกเขาจะกลับมาจากดินแดนของศัตรู
17And there is hope for thy future, saith the LORD; and thy children shall return to their own border.
17ปลายทางของเจ้ามีความหวัง” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “ลูก ๆ ของเจ้าจะกลับมายังเขตแดนของตน
18I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself: 'Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a calf untrained; turn thou me, and I shall be turned, for Thou art the LORD my God.
18“เราได้ยินเอฟราอิมคร่ำครวญเช่นนี้อย่างแน่นอนว่า ‘พระองค์ลงโทษข้าพเจ้า ข้าพเจ้าถูกลงโทษเหมือนลูกวัวที่ยังไม่ได้ฝึก ขอให้ข้าพเจ้าหันกลับ แล้วข้าพเจ้าจะหันกลับ เพราะพระองค์คือพระยาห์เวห์ พระเจ้าของข้าพเจ้า
19Surely after that I was turned, I repented, and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh; I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.'
19จริงทีเดียว เมื่อข้าพเจ้าหันกลับแล้ว ข้าพเจ้าก็สำนึกผิด เมื่อข้าพเจ้าได้รับการสั่งสอนแล้ว ข้าพเจ้าก็ตีต้นขาตนเอง ข้าพเจ้าอับอาย จริงทีเดียว ถึงกับละอายใจยิ่งนัก เพราะข้าพเจ้าแบกรับความอัปยศจากวัยหนุ่มของตน’
20Is Ephraim a darling son unto Me? Is he a child that is dandled? For as often as I speak of him, I do earnestly remember him still; Therefore My heart yearneth for him, I will surely have compassion upon him, saith the LORD.
20เอฟราอิมเป็นลูกชายที่เรารักหรือ? เขาเป็นลูกที่รักยิ่งหรือ? เพราะทุกครั้งที่เรากล่าวโทษเขา เราก็ยังระลึกถึงเขาอย่างจริงจัง ใจเราจึงโหยหาเขา เราจะเมตตาเขาแน่” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว
21Set thee up waymarks, make thee guide-posts; set thy heart toward the high-way, even the way by which thou wentest; Return, O virgin of Israel, return to these thy cities.
21“จงตั้งป้ายบอกทาง ทำหลักชี้ทาง จงใส่ใจกับทางหลวง คือทางที่เจ้าเคยเดินไป สาวพรหมจารีแห่งอิสราเอล จงกลับมา กลับมายังเมืองเหล่านี้ของเจ้า
22How long wilt thou turn away coyly, O thou backsliding daughter? For the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth: a woman shall court a man.
22เจ้าจะเที่ยวไปมาอีกนานเท่าไร ธิดาที่หันเหไป? เพราะพระยาห์เวห์สร้างสิ่งใหม่ขึ้นบนแผ่นดิน ผู้หญิงจะล้อมผู้ชายไว้”
23Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Yet again shall they use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall turn their captivity: 'The LORD bless thee, O habitation of righteousness, O mountain of holiness.'
23พระยาห์เวห์แห่งกองทัพ พระเจ้าของอิสราเอล กล่าวดังนี้ “เมื่อเราฟื้นฟูพวกเขาจากการเป็นเชลย พวกเขาจะกล่าวคำนี้อีกในดินแดนยูดาห์และในเมืองต่าง ๆ ว่า ‘ขอพระยาห์เวห์อวยพรเจ้า ที่อยู่แห่งความเที่ยงธรรม ภูเขาแห่งความบริสุทธิ์’
24And Judah and all the cities thereof shall dwell therein together: the husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.
24ยูดาห์และทุกเมืองของยูดาห์จะอาศัยอยู่ที่นั่นด้วยกัน ทั้งชาวนาและคนที่ต้อนฝูงสัตว์ไปมา
25For I have satiated the weary soul, and every pining soul have I replenished.
25เพราะเราให้จิตใจที่เหนื่อยล้าอิ่มเอม และเติมเต็มทุกจิตใจที่เศร้าโศก”
26Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me.
26เมื่อถึงตอนนี้ข้าพเจ้าก็ตื่นและมองดู การหลับของข้าพเจ้าช่างชื่นใจ
27Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.
27“จงฟัง วันเวลานั้นกำลังมาถึง” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “เราจะหว่านพงศ์พันธุ์อิสราเอลและพงศ์พันธุ์ยูดาห์ด้วยเมล็ดพันธุ์มนุษย์และเมล็ดพันธุ์สัตว์
28And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them to pluck up and to break down, and to overthrow and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them to build and to plant, saith the LORD.
28เราเฝ้าดูพวกเขาเพื่อถอน รื้อ โค่น ทำลาย และให้ทุกข์ยากอย่างไร เราจะเฝ้าดูพวกเขาเพื่อสร้างและปลูกอย่างนั้น” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว
29In those days they shall say no more: 'The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge.'
29“ในวันเวลานั้น พวกเขาจะไม่กล่าวอีกว่า “‘พ่อกินองุ่นเปรี้ยว แต่ลูกเข็ดฟัน’
30But every one shall die for his own iniquity; every man that eateth the sour grapes, his teeth shall be set on edge.
30แต่แต่ละคนจะตายเพราะความผิดของตนเอง ใครกินองุ่นเปรี้ยว คนนั้นก็จะเข็ดฟัน
31Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah;
31“จงฟัง วันเวลานั้นกำลังมาถึง” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “เราจะทำพันธสัญญาใหม่กับพงศ์พันธุ์อิสราเอลและพงศ์พันธุ์ยูดาห์
32not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; forasmuch as they broke My covenant, although I was a lord over them, saith the LORD.
32ไม่เหมือนพันธสัญญาที่เราทำกับบรรพบุรุษของพวกเขาในวันที่เราจูงมือพวกเขาออกจากดินแดนอียิปต์ พวกเขาทำลายพันธสัญญาของเรา แม้เราเป็นสามีของพวกเขา” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว
33But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the LORD, I will put My law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people;
33“แต่ต่อไปนี้คือพันธสัญญาที่เราจะทำกับพงศ์พันธุ์อิสราเอลหลังวันเวลานั้น” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “เราจะใส่ข้อบัญญัติของเราไว้ภายในพวกเขา และเขียนไว้ในใจของพวกเขา เราจะเป็นพระเจ้าของพวกเขา และพวกเขาจะเป็นประชาชนของเรา
34and they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying: 'Know the LORD'; for they shall all know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD; for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more.
34พวกเขาแต่ละคนจะไม่ต้องสอนเพื่อนบ้านอีก หรือสอนพี่น้องของตนว่า ‘จงรู้จักพระยาห์เวห์’ เพราะทุกคนจะรู้จักเรา ตั้งแต่คนเล็กน้อยที่สุดถึงคนใหญ่โตที่สุด” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “เพราะเราจะให้อภัยความผิดของพวกเขา และไม่จดจำบาปของพวกเขาอีก”
35Thus saith the LORD, Who giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, who stirreth up the sea, that the waves thereof roar, the LORD of hosts is His name:
35พระยาห์เวห์ผู้ให้ดวงอาทิตย์ส่องสว่างในเวลากลางวัน ผู้กำหนดดวงจันทร์และดวงดาวให้ส่องสว่างในเวลากลางคืน ผู้ทำให้ทะเลปั่นป่วนจนคลื่นคำราม พระองค์มีนามว่าพระยาห์เวห์แห่งกองทัพ กล่าวดังนี้
36If these ordinances depart from before Me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before Me for ever.
36“หากข้อกำหนดเหล่านี้หมดไปจากต่อหน้าเรา” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “เมื่อนั้นลูกหลานอิสราเอลก็จะเลิกเป็นชนชาติต่อหน้าเราตลอดไปเช่นกัน”
37Thus saith the LORD: If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, then will I also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.
37พระยาห์เวห์กล่าวว่า “หากวัดฟ้าสวรรค์เบื้องบนได้ และค้นสำรวจรากฐานแผ่นดินเบื้องล่างได้ เราก็จะทอดทิ้งลูกหลานอิสราเอลทั้งหมดเช่นกัน เพราะทุกสิ่งที่พวกเขาทำ” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว
38Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananel unto the gate of the corner.
38“จงฟัง วันเวลานั้นกำลังมาถึง” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “เมืองจะถูกสร้างขึ้นเพื่อพระยาห์เวห์ ตั้งแต่หอฮานันเอลถึงประตูมุม
39And the measuring line shall yet go out straight forward unto the hill Gareb, and shall turn about unto Goah.
39สายวัดจะทอดตรงต่อไปถึงเนินกาเรบ และเลี้ยวไปทางโกอาห์
40And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.
40หุบเขาทั้งหมดที่มีศพและเถ้าถ่าน ทุ่งทั้งหมดถึงลำธารขิดโรน จนถึงมุมประตูม้าทางตะวันออก จะบริสุทธิ์สำหรับพระยาห์เวห์ จะไม่ถูกถอนหรือรื้ออีกตลอดไป”
