1(83-1) A Song, a Psalm of Asaph. (83-2) O God, keep not Thou silence; hold not Thy peace, and be not still, O God.
1Đức Chúa Trời ôi! xin chớ làm thinh. Đức Chúa Trời ôi! xin chớ nín lặng, chớ đứng yên.
2(83-3) For, lo, Thine enemies are in an uproar; and they that hate Thee have lifted up the head.
2Vì, kìa, các kẻ thù nghịch Chúa náo loạn, Và những kẻ ghét Chúa ngước đầu lên.
3(83-4) They hold crafty converse against Thy people, and take counsel against Thy treasured ones.
3Chúng nó toan mưu độc hại dân sự Chúa, Bàn nghị nhau nghịch những kẻ Chúa che giấu.
4(83-5) They have said: 'Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.'
4Chúng nó nói rằng: Hãy đến tuyệt diệt chúng nó đến nỗi không còn làm nước, Hầu cho danh Y-sơ-ra-ên không còn được kỷ niệm nữa.
5(83-6) For they have consulted together with one consent; against Thee do they make a covenant;
5Vì chúng nó một lòng bàn nghị nhau, Lập giao ước nghịch cùng Chúa:
6(83-7) The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab, and the Hagrites;
6Các trại Ê-đôm và người ỗch-ma-ên, Mô-áp và người Ha-ga-rít.
7(83-8) Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
7Ghê-banh, Am-môn, và A-ma-léc, Người Phi-li-tin, với dân Ty-rơ;
8(83-9) Assyria also is joined with them; they have been an arm to the children of Lot. Selah
8A-si-ri cũng hiệp với chúng nó, Mà giúp đỡ con cháu Lót.
9(83-10) Do Thou unto them as unto Midian; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook Kishon;
9Hãy đãi chúng nó như Ma-đi-an, Như Si-sê-ra, như Gia-bin tại khe Ki-sôn,
10(83-11) Who were destroyed at En-dor; they became as dung for the earth.
10Là kẻ bị hư nát tại Eân-Đô-rơ, Trở thành phân cho đất.
11(83-12) Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, and like Zebah and Zalmunna all their princes;
11Hãy làm cho các người tước vị chúng nó giống như Ô-rép và Xê-ép. Và hết thảy quan trưởng họ giống như Xê-bách và Xanh-mu-na;
12(83-13) Who said: 'Let us take to ourselves in possession the habitations of God.'
12Vì chúng nó nói rằng: Ta hãy chiếm lấy làm của Các nơi ở Đức Chúa Trời.
13(83-14) O my God, make them like the whirling dust; as stubble before the wind.
13Đức Chúa Trời tôi ôi! hãy làm cho chúng nó giống như bụi bị gió cuộn, Tợ như rơm rạ ở trước gió.
14(83-15) As the fire that burneth the forest, and as the flame that setteth the mountains ablaze;
14Lửa thiêu đốt rừng, Lửa ngọn cháy núi thể nào,
15(83-16) So pursue them with Thy tempest, and affright them with Thy storm.
15Hãy lấy trận bão Chúa đuổi rượt chúng nó, Và dùng dông tố Chúa khiến chúng nó kinh khiếp thể ấy.
16(83-17) Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek Thy name, O LORD.
16Hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, xin hãy làm mặt chúng nó đầy nhuốc nhơ, Để chúng nó tìm cầu danh Ngài.
17(83-18) Let them be ashamed and affrighted for ever; yea, let them be abashed and perish;
17Nguyện chúng nó bị hổ thẹn và thất kinh đến đời đời; Nguyện chúng nó bị hổ ngươi và hư mất;
18(83-19) That they may know that it is Thou alone whose name is the LORD, the Most High over all the earth.
18Hầu cho chúng nó biết rằng chỉ một mình Chúa, danh là Đức Giê-hô-va, Là Đấng Chí cao trên khắp trái đất.
