1For the Leader. A Psalm of David. O God of my praise, keep not silence;
1Hỡi Đức Chúa Trời mà tôi ngợi khen, xin chớ nín lặng.
2For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of deceit have they opened against me; they have spoken unto me with a lying tongue.
2Vì miệng kẻ ác và miệng kẻ gian lận Hả ra nghịch tôi: Chúng nó nói nghịch tôi bằng lưỡi láo xược.
3They compassed me about also with words of hatred, and fought against me without a cause.
3Vây phủ tôi bằng lời ghen ghét, Và tranh đấu với tôi vô cớ.
4In return for my love they are my adversaries; but I am all prayer.
4Vì tình thương của tôi, chúng nó lại trở cừu địch tôi; Nhưng tôi chỉ chuyên lòng cầu nguyện.
5And they have laid upon me evil for good, and hatred for my love:
5Chúng nó lấy dữ trả lành, Lấy ghét báo thương.
6'Set Thou a wicked man over him; and let an adversary stand at his right hand.
6Hãy đặt một kẻ ác cai trị nó, Cho kẻ cừu địch đứng bên hữu nó.
7When he is judged, let him go forth condemned; and let his prayer be turned into sin.
7Khi nó bị đoán xét, nguyện nó ra kẻ có tội, Và lời cầu nguyện nó bị kể như tội lỗi.
8Let his days be few; let another take his charge.
8Nguyện số các ngày nó ra ít. Nguyện kẻ khác chiếm lấy chức phận nó đi.
9Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
9Nguyện con cái nó phải mồ côi, Và vợ nó bị góa bụa.
10Let his children be vagabonds, and beg; and let them seek their bread out of their desolate places.
10Nguyện con cái nó hoang đàng và ăn mày, Phải đi xin ăn xa khỏi nhà hoang của chúng nó.
11Let the creditor distrain all that he hath; and let strangers make spoil of his labour.
11Nguyện chủ nợ tận thủ mọi vật nó có. Kẻ ngoại cướp lấy huê lợi về công lao nó.
12Let there be none to extend kindness unto him; neither let there be any to be gracious unto his fatherless children.
12Nguyện chẳng ai làm ơn cho nó, Không ai có lòng thương xót con mồ côi nó.
13Let his posterity be cut off; in the generation following let their name be blotted out.
13Nguyện dòng dõi nó bị diệt đi, Tên chúng nó bị xóa mất trong đời kế sau.
14Let the iniquity of his fathers be brought to remembrance unto the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
14Nguyện sự gian ác tổ phụ nó bị nhắc lại trước mặt Đức Giê-hô-va; Nguyện tội lỗi mẹ nó không hề bôi bỏ được.
15Let them be before the LORD continually, that He may cut off the memory of them from the earth.
15Nguyện các tội ác ấy hằng ở trước mặt Đức Giê-hô-va, Để Ngài cất kỷ niệm chúng nó khỏi đất;
16Because that he remembered not to do kindness, but persecuted the poor and needy man, and the broken in heart he was ready to slay.
16Bởi vì người không nhớ làm ơn, Song bắt bớ người khốn cùng thiếu thốn, Và kẻ có lòng đau thương, đặng giết đi.
17Yea, he loved cursing, and it came unto him; and he delighted not in blessing, and it is far from him.
17Nó ưa sự rủa sả, sự rủa sả bèn lâm vào nó; Cũng không thích chúc phước; phước bèn cách xa nó.
18He clothed himself also with cursing as with his raiment, and it is come into his inward parts like water, and like oil into his bones.
18Nó cũng mặc mình bằng sự rủa sả khác nào bằng cái áo; Sự rủa sả chun thấm vào thân nó như nước, Vô xương cốt như dầu.
19Let it be unto him as the garment which he putteth on, and for the girdle wherewith he is girded continually.'
19Nguyện sự rủa sả vì nó làm như cái áo để đắp mình, Như cái đai để thắt lưng luôn luôn.
20This would mine adversaries effect from the LORD, and they that speak evil against my soul.
20Đức Giê-hô-va sẽ báo trả như vậy cho kẻ cừu địch tôi, Và cho những kẻ nói hành linh hồn tôi.
21But Thou, O GOD the Lord, deal with me for Thy name's sake; because Thy mercy is good, deliver Thou me.
21Nhưng, hỡi Chúa Giê-hô-va, nhân danh Chúa, xin hãy hậu đãi tôi; Vì sự nhân từ Chúa là tốt; xin hãy giải cứu tôi;
22For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
22Vì tôi khốn cùng thiếu thốn, Lòng tôi bị đau thương trong mình tôi.
23I am gone like the shadow when it lengtheneth; I am shaken off as the locust.
23Tôi qua đời như bóng ngã dài, Bị đuổi đây đuổi đó khác nào cào cào.
24My knees totter through fasting; and my flesh is lean, and hath no fatness.
24Gối tôi run yếu vì kiêng ăn, Thịt tôi ra ốm, không còn mập nữa.
25I am become also a taunt unto them; when they see me, they shake their head.
25Tôi cũng thành sự sỉ nhục cho chúng nó; Hễ chúng nó thấy tôi bèn lắc đầu.
26Help me, O LORD my God; O save me according to Thy mercy;
26Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời tôi ôi! xin giúp đỡ tôi, Cứu tôi theo sự nhân từ Chúa;
27That they may know that this is Thy hand; that Thou, LORD, hast done it.
27Hầu cho người ta biết rằng ấy đây là tay Chúa, Chính Ngài, Đức Giê-hô-va ơi, đã làm điều đó.
28Let them curse, but bless Thou; when they arise, they shall be put to shame, but Thy servant shall rejoice.
28Chúng nó thì rủa sả, nhưng Chúa lại ban phước. Khi chúng nó dấy lên, ắt sẽ bị hổ thẹn, Còn kẻ tôi tớ Chúa sẽ được vui vẻ.
29Mine adversaries shall be clothed with confusion, and shall put on their own shame as a robe.
29Nguyện kẻ cừu địch tôi phải mặc mình bằng sự sỉ nhục, Bao phủ mình bằng sự hổ thẹn nó khác nào bằng cái áo.
30I will give great thanks unto the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise Him among the multitude;
30Bấy giờ miệng tôi sẽ hết sức cảm tạ Đức Giê-hô-va, Ngợi khen Ngài ở giữa đoàn đông;
31Because He standeth at the right hand of the needy, to save him from them that judge his soul.
31Vì Ngài đứng bên hữu người thiếu thốn, Đặng giải cứu người khỏi kẻ đoán xét linh hồn người.
