1Long hoi a thung ih hmuennawk; long hoi a thungah kaom kaminawk boih loe, Angraeng ih ni.
1Unto the end, a psalm for David. To thee, O Lord, have I lifted up my soul.
2Anih mah to ahmuen to tuipui nuiah angdoetsak moe, tuinawk nuiah a caksak.
2In thee, O my God, I put my trust; let me not be ashamed.
3Mi maw angraeng ih mae nuiah daw tih? To tih ai boeh loe mi maw anih ih hmuenciim ah angdoe tih?
3Neither let my enemies laugh at me: for none of them that wait on thee shall be confounded.
4Ban ciim kami hoi poek ciim kami, krangbokhaih bangah a hinghaih to paek ai, kamsoem ai hmuen ah lokkamhaih sah ai kami loe,
4Let all them be confounded that act unjust things without cause. Shew, O Lord, thy ways to me, and teach me thy paths.
5Angraeng khae hoiah tahamhoihaih to hnu ueloe, anih pahlonghaih Sithaw khae hoiah toenghaih to hnu tih.
5Direct me in thy truth, and teach me; for thou art God my Saviour; and on thee have I waited all the day long.
6To kami loe Sithaw pakrong kaminawk ih acaeng, Sithaw krang pakrong Jakob ih acaeng ah oh. Selah .
6Remember, O Lord, thy bowels of compassion; and thy mercies that are from the beginning of the world.
7Aw nangcae khongkhanawk, na lunawk to phok o tahang ah; nangcae dungzan thoknawk, angtoeng o tahang ah; lensawk Siangpahrang loe athung ah akun tih.
7The sins of my youth and my ignorances do not remember. According to thy mercy remember thou me: for thy goodness’ sake, O Lord.
8Hae lensawk siangpahrang loe mi aa? Anih loe lensawk thacak Angraeng, misatuk thacak Angraeng to ni.
8The Lord is sweet and righteous: therefore he will give a law to sinners in the way.
9Aw nangcae khongkhanawk, na lunawk to phok o tahang ah; nangcae dungzan thoknawk, angtoeng o tahang ah; lensawk Siangpahrang athung ah angzo tih.
9He will guide the mild in judgment: he will teach the meek his ways.
10Hae lensawk Siangpahrang loe mi aa? Misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng, anih loe lensawk Siangpahrang to boeh ni. Selah .
10All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth, to them that seek after his covenant and his testimonies.
