1Unto the end, for the winepresses, a psalm for Asaph himself.
1Tuu baktiah Joseph zaehoikung, Aw Israel tuu toepkung, tahngai ah; Cherubim salakah anghnu nang, aanghaih to amtuengsak ah.
2Rejoice to God our helper: sing aloud to the God of Jacob.
2Ephraim, Benjamin hoi Manasseh hmaa ah, na thaa pathok ah, angzo ah loe, kaicae hae pahlong ah.
3Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel: the pleasant psaltery with the harp.
3Aw Sithaw, kaicae hae angthasak let ah loe, na mikhmai to aangsak ah; to tiah nahaeloe pahlong ah ka om o tih.
4Blow up the trumpet on the new moon, on the noted day of your solemnity.
4Aw misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng Sithaw, nangmah ih kaminawk lawkthuihaih nuiah nasetto maw palung na phui thuih han vop?
5For it is a commandment in Israel, and a judgment to the God of Jacob.
5Nihcae to mikkhraetui takaw hoiah na pacah moe, boengloeng kakoi ah mikkhraetui naek hanah nihcae to na paek boeh.
6He ordained it for a testimony in Joseph, when he came out of the land of Egypt: he heard a tongue which he knew not.
6Ka imtaeng kaminawk mah palungphui thuih hanah nang sak, ka misanawk mah kaicae ang pahnuih o thuih boeh.
7He removed his back from the burdens: his hands had served in baskets.
7Aw misatuh kaminawk ih Sithaw, kaicae hae angthasak let ah loe, na mikhmai to aangsak ah; to tih nahaeloe pahlong ah ka om o tih.
8Thou calledst upon me in affliction, and I delivered thee: I heard thee in the secret place of tempest: I proved thee at the waters of contradiction.
8Misurkung to Izip prae hoiah nang sinh; Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk to na haek bit pacoengah, na thlingh.
9Hear, O my people, and I will testify to thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken to me,
9Thlingh hanah long to na takaeh, tangzun na saksak moe, prae thungah na koisak.
10There shall be no new god in thee: neither shalt thou adore a strange god.
10Anih ih tahlip mah maenawk to khuk moe, anih ih tanghangnawk mah thacak Sidar thingnawk to khuk.
11For I am the Lord thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
11Anih ih tanghang loe tuipui khoek to phak, tadoknawk doeh vapui khoek to phak.
12But my people heard not my voice: and Israel hearkened not to me.
12Tipongah loklam ah kacaeh kaminawk boih mah misurthaih pakhrik o hanah, takha to na phraek ving loe?
13So I let them go according to the desires of their heart: they shall walk in their own inventions.
13Pangaeh mah akung to amuui moe, taw ih moisannawk mah caak o boeh.
14If my people had heard me: if Israel had walked in my ways:
14Aw misatuh kaminawk ih Sithaw, angqoi let hanah, kang pacae o; van hoiah dan tathuk ah, hae misurkung hae khet hanah angzo ah;
15I should soon have humbled their enemies, and laid my hand on them that troubled them.
15na bantang ban hoiah akung to na thlingh, nangmah hanah tanghang to tha na caksak.
16The enemies of the Lord have lied to him: and their time shall be for ever.
16Akung loe hmai hoiah thlaek moe, pakhruk ving boeh; na mikhmai hoi thuitaek ih kaminawk loe amro o boih boeh.
17And he fed them with the fat of wheat, and filled them with honey out of the rock.
17Na bantang bang ih kami hoi nangmah han tha na caksak ih kami capa nuiah na ban to koeng nasoe.
