1Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, when I was in the midst of the captives by the river Chobar, the heavens were opened, and I saw the visions of God.
11 Saning qui thumto koephaih, khrah palito haih, ni pangato naah, kai loe Khebar vapui taengah kaom misong ah naeh ih kaminawk salakah ka oh, to naah vannawk to amongh moe, Sithaw hnuksakhaih hmuennawk to ka hnuk.
2On the fifth day of the month, the same was the fifth year of the captivity of king Joachin,
2To khrah ni pangato, Jehoiachin misong ah ohhaih saning pangato naah,
3The word of the Lord came to Ezechiel the priest the son of Bud in the land of the Chaldeans, by the river Chobar: and the hand of the Lord was there upon him.
3Khaldian prae Khebar tava taengah, Buzi capa qaima Ezekiel khaeah, Angraeng ih lok to angzoh; Angraeng ih ban anih nuiah oh.
4And I saw, and behold a whirlwind came out of the north: and a great cloud, and a fire infolding it, and brightness was about it: and out of the midst thereof, that is, out of the midst of the fire, as it were the resemblance of amber:
4Ka khet naah, aluek bang hoi kasong takhi pui to ka hnuk, kalen parai tamai loe kangqong hmai hoi hmai aengh mah takui; hmai kangqong um ah loe ni aengh baktiah ampha.
5And in the midst thereof the likeness of four living creatures: and this was their appearance: there was the likeness of a man in them.
5To ih hmai thung hoiah hinghaih katawn sak ih hmuen palito tacawt. Nihcae amtuenghaih dan loe kami krang baktiah oh.
6Every one had four faces, and every one four wings.
6Sak ih hmuennawk loe mikhmai palito hoi pakhraeh palito tawnh o boih.
7Their feet were straight feet, and the sole of their foot was like the sole of a calf’s foot, and they sparkled like the appearance of glowing brass.
7Nihcae ih khok loe toeng; khokpadae loe maitaw caa khok baktiah oh moe, hmawt suidik ih sumkamling baktiah oh.
8And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides: and they bad faces, and wings on the four sides,
8Nihcae ih pakhraeh palito tlim ah kami ban to oh; to hinghaih katawn hmuen palito loe mikhmai hoi pakhraeh tawnh o boih.
9And the wings of one were joined to the wings of another. They turned not when they went: but every one went straight forward.
9Pakhraehnawk loe maeto hoi maeto amtomh o boih; nihcae caeh o naah hae bang hoi ho bangah doeh angqoi o ai; katoengah a caeh o poe.
10And as for the likeness of their faces: there was the face of a man, and the face of a lion on the right side of all the four: and the face of an ox, on the left side of all the four: and the face of an eagle over all the four.
10Nihcae ih mikhmai amtuenghaih dan loe hae tiah oh; hinghaih katawn hmuen palito loe bantang bangah kami mikhmai hoi kaipui mikhmai tawnh o moe, banqoi bangah maitaw tae krang hoi tahmu krang a tawnh o.
11And their faces, and their wings were stretched upward: two wings of every one were joined, and two covered their bodies:
11To tiah mikhmai to oh. Nihcae loe pakhraeh van bangah atoengh o tahang; pakhraeh hnetto tadong loe maeto hoi maeto angbet, hnetto hoiah angmacae ih takpum to khuk o.
12And every one of them went straight forward: whither the impulse of the spirit was to go, thither they went: and they turned not when they went.
12Nihcae loe muithla mah caehsak ih baktih toengah, caeh o; a caeh o naah naa bangah doeh angqoi o ai, katoengah a caeh o poe.
13And as for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like that of burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps. This was the vision running to and fro in the midst of the living creatures, a bright fire, and lightning going forth from the fire.
13Kahing hmuennawk ih krang loe kamngaeh li hmai kangqong baktih, kahing hmuennawk salakah ahnuk ahma kacaeh, hmaithaw baktiah oh; to hmai loe aang moe, a thung hoiah kampha hmai aengh to tacawt.
14And the living creatures ran and returned like flashes of lightning.
14Kahing hmuennawk loe ni aengh baktiah ampha o moe, ahnuk ahma cawnh o.
15Now as I beheld the living creatures, there appeared upon the earth by the living creatures one wheel with four faces.
15Kakhet naah, to ih hinghaih katawn hmuen palito taeng ih long ah, palito ah taphaeng ih Rel khok maeto ka hnuk.
16And the appearance of the wheels, and the work of them was like the appearance of the sea: and the four had all one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the midst of a wheel.

18The wheels had also a size, and a height, and a dreadful appearance: and the whole body was full of eyes round about all the four.
18Rel khok aqainawk loe sang parai moe, zitthoh parai; to a khok palito aqaih boih ah mik to oh.
19And when the living creatures went, the wheels also went together by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels also were lifted up with them.
19Kahing hmuennawk caeh o naah, rel khoknawk doeh nihcae taengah caeh o toeng, kahing hmuennawk long hoi angtoengh o tahang naah, rel khoknawk doeh angtoengh o tahang toeng.
20Whithersoever the spirit went, thither as the spirit went the wheels also were lifted up withal, and followed it: for the spirit of life was in the wheels.
20To rel khoknawk loe muithla caeh han ih ahmuen, muithla mah caehsak ih ahmuen kruekah caeh o; rel khoknawk thungah hinghaih katawn hmuennawk ih muithla to oh pongah, rel khoknawk doeh nihcae hoi nawnto angtoeng o tahang toeng.
21When those went these went, and when those stood these stood, and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels also were lifted up together, and followed them: for the spirit of life was in the wheels.
21Nihcae caeh o naah, rel khoknawk doeh caeh o; nichae anghak o naah, rel khoknawk doeh anghak o toeng; kahing hmuennawk ih muithla loe rel khoknawk thungah oh pongah, nihcae long hoi angtoeng o tahang naah, rel khoknawk doeh nihcae hoi nawnto angtoeng o tahang toeng.
22And over the heads of the living creatures was the likeness of the firmament, as the appearance of crystal terrible to behold, and stretched out over their heads above.
22Hinghaih katawn hmuennawk lu ranui khukhaih loe, anghmang kathok thlung kamdueng crystal rong baktiah ampha moe, nihcae lu ranuiah angbaih tahang.
23And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other, every one with two wings covered his body, and the other was covered in like manner.
23Nihcae lu ranui khukhaih tlim ah loe, pakhraeh to katoengah payangh o moe, tadong maeto hoi maeto angbet o boih. Pakhraeh hnetto hoi hae bangah khuk o moe, kalah pakhraeh hnetto hoiah angmacae ih takpum to khuk o boih.
24And I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of many waters, as it were the voice of the most high God: when they walked, it was like the voice of a multitude, like the noise of an army, and when they stood, their wings were let down.
24Nihcae caeh o naah loe, kalen parai tuipui tuen baktih, Thacak Lensawk kami ih lok baktih, paroeai misatuh kaminawk ih atuen baktiah, nihcae ih pakhraeh tuen to ka thaih; angdoet o naah loe pakhraeh to atlim ah pakhrak o tathuk.
25For when a voice came from above the firmament, that was over their heads, they stood, and let down their wings.
25Nihcae angdoet o moe, pakhraeh pakhrak o tathuk naah, nihcae lu ranui khukhaih ahmuen hoiah lok to tacawt.
26And above the firmament that was over their heads, was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of the sapphire stone, and upon the likeness of the throne, was a likeness as of the appearance of a man above upon it.
26Nihcae lu ranui khukhaih ahmuen ah, sapphire thlung baktiah kaom angraeng tangkhang to amtueng; angraeng tangkhang nuiah kaom hmuen loe kami baktiah oh.
27And I saw as it were the resemblance of amber as the appearance of fire within it round about: from his loins and upward, and from his loins downward, I saw as it were the resemblance of fire shining round about.
27Kaeng ranui bangah loe hmai kamngaeh baktiah oh moe, kaeng tlim bangah loe hmai kangqong baktiah oh: to hmuen loe hmai aengh mah takui boih.
28As the appearance of the rainbow when it is in a cloud on a rainy day: this was the appearance of the brightness round about.
28To tiah kampha rong loe kho angzoh na niah tamai thungah kaom khungzae baktiah oh; to amtuenghaih dan loe Angraeng lensawkhaih hoiah anghmong. To hmuen to ka hnuk naah, long ah mikhmai ka kuep, to pacoengah kami maeto mah thuih ih lok to ka thaih.
