1And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
1Angraeng ih lok kai khaeah angzoh,
2And thou son of man, dost thou not judge, dost thou not judge the city of blood?
2kami capa, lok na caek han maw? Athii longsak vangpui lokcaek han nam sak coek boeh maw? Ue, a sak ih panuet thok hmuenawk to amtuengsak boih ah.
3And thou shalt shew her all her abominations, and shalt say: Thus saith the Lord God: This is the city that sheddeth blood in the midst of her, that her time may come: and that hath made idols against herself, to defile herself.
3Anih khaeah, Angraeng Sithaw mah, Vangpui loe a thungah kami athii to longsak moe, angmah amhnong hanah krangnawk to a sak, anih ih atue loe pha tih boeh.
4Thou art become guilty in thy blood which thou hast shed: and thou art defiled in thy idols which thou hast made: and thou hast made thy days to draw near, and hast brought on the time of thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach to the Gentiles, and a mockery to all countries.
4Nang loe na palongh ih athii hoiah na zae boeh moe, na sak ih krangnawk hoiah nam hnong boeh; na hing boenghaih atue loe zoi boeh moe, na saning boenghaih atuenawk doeh phak boeh; to pongah Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk mah kasae thuih moe, prae congca kaminawk mah pahnui thuih hanah kang sak han, tiah thui paeh, tiah ang naa.
5Those that are near, and those that are far from thee, shall triumph over thee: thou filthy one, infamous, great in destruction.
5Ahmin kasae, lokpunghaih hoiah kakoi vangpui nang loe kazoi ah om kaminawk hoi angthla ah om kaminawk mah pahnui o thui tih.
6Behold the princes of Israel, every one hath employed his arm in thee to shed blood.
6Khenah, nang thungah kaom Israel angraengnawk boih loe tha patohhaih hoiah athii long o sak boeh.
7They have abused father and mother in thee, they have oppressed the stranger in the midst of thee, they have grieved the fatherless and widow in thee.
7Nang thungah kaom kaminawk mah amno hoi ampa to patoek o: nang thungah kaom kaminawk mah angvinnawk to pacaekthlaek o moe, ampa tawn ai kami hoi lamhmainawk doeh pacaekthlaek o.
8Thou hast despised my sanctuaries, and profaned my sabbaths.
8Kai ih kaciim hmuennawk to na patoek moe, kai ih Sabbath doeh panuet om ah na sak.
9Slanderers have been in thee to shed blood, and they have eaten upon the mountains in thee, they have committed wickedness in the midst of thee.
9Kami athii palong han pacuek kaminawk loe nang thungah oh o; maenawk nuiah buh caa kaminawk doeh nang thungah oh o, zaehaih sah kaminawk doeh nang thungah ni khosak o.
10They have discovered the nakedness of their father in thee, they have humbled the uncleanness of the menstruous woman in thee.
10Nang thungah ampa iihhaih ahmuen amhnongsak kaminawk to oh o; athii kalong nongpata hoi iip kaminawk doeh nang thungah oh o.
11And every one hath committed abomination with his neighbour’s wife, and the father in law hath wickedly defiled his daughter in law, the brother hath oppressed his sister the daughter of his father in thee.
11Nang thung ih kami maeto loe a imtaeng kami ih zu hoiah panuet thok hmuen to sak, kalah thoemto kaminawk mah loe a capa ih zu to muk pae o, nang thung ih kalah thoemto kaminawk loe angmah ih tanuh, ampa ih canu to zae o haih.
12They have taken gifts in thee to shed blood: thou hast taken usury and increase, and hast covetously oppressed thy neighbours: and then hast forgotten me, saith the Lord God.
12Nang thung ih kami mah athii palong hanah tangqum to lak o; a caa kapung caak hanah phoisa to na coisak, na imtaeng kaminawk ih hmuenmae to na lomh pae o moe, kai nang pahnet o boeh, tiah Angraeng Sithaw mah thuih.
13Behold, I have clapped my hands at thy covetousness, which thou hast exercised and at the blood that hath been shed: In the midst of thee.
13Khenah, na lomh ih hmuennawk hoi nang thungah kalong athii pongah, ban ka tabaeng.
14Shall thy heart endure, or shall thy hands prevail ill the days which I will bring upon thee: I the Lord have spoken, and will do it.
14Lok kang caek naah, na palung mah khaang thaih ueloe, na ban thacak poe tih maw? Kai Angraeng loe ka thuih ih lok baktih toengah ka sak han.
15And I will disperse thee in the nations, and will scatter thee among the countries, and I will put an end to thy uncleanness in thee.
15Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk salakah kang haehsak phang moe, prae congca boih ah kam hetsak han, nam hnonghaih doeh kang pasaeh pae han.
16And I will possess thee in the sight of the Gentiles, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.
16Nangcae loe Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk salakah panuet thok ah na om o tih, to pacoengah Kai loe Angraeng ni, tiah na panoek o tih, tiah thuih.
17And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
17To pacoengah Angraeng ih lok kai khaeah angzoh,
18Son of man, the house of Israel is become dress to me: all these are brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, in the midst of the furnace: they are become the dress of silver.
18kami capa, Israel imthung takoh loe kai hanah sum aek ah ni oh boeh; nihcae boih loe sum pakawhaih hmai kamngaeh thung ih rong kamling sum, camphaeh, sum hoi kanglung sumtui baktiah oh o moe, sum aek ah ni a oh o.
19Therefore thus saith the Lord God: Because you are all turned into dress, therefore behold I will gather you together in the midst of Jerusalem.
19To pongah Angraeng Sithaw mah, Khenah, nangcae loe sum aek kanglung ah na oh o boih boeh pongah, Jerusalem thungah kang pakhueng o han.
20As they gather silver, and brass, and tin, and iron, and lead in the midst of the furnace: that I may kindle a fire in it to melt it: so will I gather you together in my fury and in my wrath, and will take my rest, and I will melt you down.
20Sum kanglung, sum kamling, sum, sumtui hoi camphaehnawk atui pakaw hanah, sumtui pakawhaih ahmuen ah, hmai pangaeh o thuih baktih toengah, nangcae doeh palungphuihaih hoiah kang lak o moe, vangpui thungah kang pakhueng o pacoengah, atui kang pakaw o han.
21And I will gather you together, and will burn you in the fire of my wrath, and you shall be melted in the midst thereof.
21Ue, kang lak o moe, palungphuihaih hmai hoiah kang hmuh o thuih han, nangcae loe a thungah atui nam kaw o tih.
22As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall you be in the midst thereof: and you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have poured out my indignation upon you.
22Sum kanglung loe hmai kamngaeh thungah atui amkaw baktih toengah, nangcae doeh a thungah atui nam kaw o toeng tih; to naah Kai, Angraeng mah nangcae nuiah palungphuihaih kraih thuih boeh, tito na panoek o tih, tiah thui paeh, tiah ang naa.
23And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
23To pacoengah Angraeng ih lok kai khaeah angzoh,
24Son of man, say to her: Thou art a land that is unclean, and not rained upon in the day of wrath.
24kami capa, prae khaeah, Nang loe palungphuihaih niah, kho angzo ai, ciimcai ai prae ah ni na oh, tiah thui paeh.
25There is a conspiracy of prophets in the midst thereof: like a lion that roareth and catcheth the prey, they have devoured souls, they have taken riches and hire, they have made many widows in the midst thereof.
25To prae thung ih tahmaanawk loe kaipui mah hang moe, moi to kaek baktih toengah, kaminawk ih hinghaih lak hanah pacaeng o boeh; hmuenmae hoi atho kana hmuennawk to a lak o; prae thungah lamhmainawk pop o sak boeh.
26Her priests have despised my law, and have defiled my sanctuaries: they have put no difference between holy and profane: nor have distinguished between the polluted and the clean: and they have turned away their eyes from my sabbaths, and I was profaned in the midst of them.
26Anih ih qaimanawk loe ka patuk ih loknawk to aek o moe, kai ih ciimcai hmuennawk to panuet thok ah a sak o; ciimcai hmuen hoi ciimcai ai hmuen to pathlaenghaih tawn o ai; panuet thok hmuen hoi panuet thok ai hmuen doeh pathlaeng o ai; kai ih Sabbath to angqoi o taak moe, nihcae salakah mikhmai ang set o sak.
27Her princes in the midst of her, are like wolves ravening the prey to shed blood, and to destroy souls, and to run after gains through covetousness.
27Athung ih angraengnawk doeh moi kaek tasuinawk baktiah oh o, amsoem ai loklam hoi hmuen hak thai hanah, athii long o sak moe, kaminawk to hum o.
28And her prophets have daubed them without tempering the mortar, seeing vain things, and divining lies unto them, saying: Thus saith the Lord God: when the Lord hath not spoken.
28Tahmaanawk doeh Angraeng mah thui ai to mah, Angraeng Sitawh mah thuih, tiah tidoeh avang ai hnuksakhaih hmuen to a hnuk o, amsawnlok a thuih o moe, nihcae to param long hoiah pazut o.
29The people of the land have used oppression, and committed robbery: they afflicted the needy and poor, and they oppressed the stranger by calumny without judgment.
29Prae thung ih kaminawk loe pacaekthlaekhaih, minawk ih hmuenmae taekhaih, mithoe hoi amtang kaminawk to hnaphnae o; ue, angvinnawk to amsoem ai ah pacaekthlaek o.
30And I sought among them for a man that might set up a hedge, and stand in the gap before me in favour of the land, that I might not destroy it: and I found none.
30To prae to ka phraek han ai ah pakaakung, sipae salakah ka hmaa ah angdoet moe, pading thaih koi kami to nihcae thungah ka pakrong; toe mi doeh ka hnu ai.
31And I poured out my indignation upon them, in the fire of my wrath I consumed them: I have rendered their way upon their own head, saith the Lord God.
31To pongah nihcae nuiah palungphuihaih ka kraih moe, palungphuihaih hmai hoiah nihcae to ka paduek han; a sak o ih hmuennawk to angmacae lu nuiah ka kraksak let han, tiah Angraeng Sithaw mah thuih, tiah thuih pae han ang naa.
