1Coek koi om ai loklam ah caeh ah, Angraeng ih kaalok to pazui kaminawk loe tahamhoih.
1ALEPH. Happy are they that are upright in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
2A thuih ih loknawk to pakuem moe, palungthin boih hoiah anih pakrong kami loe tahamhoih.
2Happy are they that keep His testimonies, that seek Him with the whole heart.
3Nihcae loe zaehaih sah o ai; anih ih loklam ah caeh o.
3Yea, they do no unrighteousness; they walk in His ways.
4Na loklam to loktangta hoi pazui hanah kaicae khaeah nang thuih.
4Thou hast ordained Thy precepts, that we should observe them diligently.
5Aw, na paek ih loknawk to pazui thai hanah, lam nang patuek!
5Oh that my ways were directed to observe Thy statutes!
6Na paek ih loknawk boih to ka pakuem nahaeloe, azathaih ka tongh mak ai.
6Then should I not be ashamed, when I have regard unto all Thy commandments.
7Katoeng na lokcaekhaih kam tuk naah, poektoenghaih hoiah nang to kang pakoeh han.
7I will give thanks unto Thee with uprightness of heart, when I learn Thy righteous ordinances.
8Nang paek ih loknawk to ka pazui han; aw kai hae na pahnawt hmah roe ah.
8I will observe Thy statutes; O forsake me not utterly.
9Kawbangmaw qoengthuem kami mah a caehhaih loklam to ciimsak thai tih? Na lok baktih toengah khosakhaih rang hoiah ni ciimsak tih.
9BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man keep his way pure? By taking heed thereto according to Thy word.
10Palungthin boih hoiah nang to kang pakrong; Aw, nang paek ih loknawk hoi nam khraengsak hmah.
10With my whole heart have I sought Thee; O let me not err from Thy commandments.
11Na nuiah zaehaih ka sak han ai ah, na lok to palung thungah ka suek boeh.
11Thy word have I laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against Thee.
12Aw Angraeng, taham na hoih! Nang paek ih loknawk to na patuk ah.
12Blessed art Thou, O LORD; teach me Thy statutes.
13Na pakha thung hoi tacawt na loknawk boih to pakha hoiah ka taphong boeh.
13With my lips have I told all the ordinances of Thy mouth.
14Hmuenmae congca hoi angraeng parai kami baktiah, na thuih ih loknawk pongah anghoehaih ka tawnh.
14I have rejoiced in the way of Thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
15Na loknawk to ka poek moe, na loklamnawk doeh ka khet han.
15I will meditate in Thy precepts, and have respect unto Thy ways.
16Nang paek ih loknawk pongah kang hoe, na lok to ka pahnet mak ai.
16I will delight myself in Thy statutes; I will not forget Thy word.
17Ka hing moe, na lok pazui thai hanah, na tamna khaeah kahoih hmuen to sah ah.
17GIMEL. Deal bountifully with Thy servant that I may live, and I will observe Thy word.
18Na kaalok thungah dawnrai hmuennawk ka hnuk thai hanah, ka mik hae na paong pae ah.
18Open Thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Thy law.
19Long ah angvin ah ka oh; nang paek ih loknawk to kai khae hoi hawk ving hmah.
19I am a sojourner in the earth; hide not Thy commandments from me.
20Na lokcaekhaih ka poek loiah ka hinghaih amro boeh.
20My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto Thine ordinances at all times.
21Na lokpaekhaihnawk hoiah amkhraeng ving, amoek kami hoi tangoeng ih kaminawk to nang mah na thuitaek.
21Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, that do err from Thy commandments.
22Nang thuih ih loknawk ka pazui pongah, kasaethuihaih hoi hnaphnaehaih to kai khae hoi na takhoe pae ving ah.
22Take away from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept Thy testimonies.
23Angraengnawk mah kai kasae ang thuih o; toe na tamna loe nang paek ih loknawk ni ka poek.
23Even though princes sit and talk against me, thy servant doth meditate in Thy statutes.
24Na thuih ih loknawk loe kang hoehaih hoi kai han poekhaih paekkung ah oh.
24Yea, Thy testimonies are my delight, they are my counsellors.
25Ka hinghaih loe maiphu thungah anghnut sut, na lok baktih toengah na hingsak ah.
25DALETH. My soul cleaveth unto the dust; quicken Thou me according to Thy word.
26Ka caehhaih loklam kawng ka thuih naah, nang pathim; nang paek ih loknawk to kai han na patuk ah.
26I told of my ways, and Thou didst answer me; teach me Thy statutes.
27Nang thuitaekhaih loklamnawk to na panoeksak ah; to tiah nahaeloe dawnrai hmuennawk to ka poek tih.
27Make me to understand the way of Thy precepts, that I may talk of Thy wondrous works.
28Palungset pongah ka hinghaih angpho sut boeh; na lok hoiah tha na caksak ah.
28My soul melteth away for heaviness; sustain me according unto Thy word.
29Alinghaih loklam thung hoi ka loih thai hanah, tahmenhaih hoi na kaalok to na paek ah.
29Remove from me the way of falsehood; and grant me Thy law graciously.
30Kai loe loktang lam to ka qoih moe, na lokcaekhaih ka hmaa ah ka suek boeh.
30I have chosen the way of faithfulness; Thine ordinances have I set before me.
31Na thuih ih loknawk to kacakah ka patawnh boeh; Aw Angraeng, azathaih na tongsak hmah.
31I cleave unto Thy testimonies; O LORD, put me not to shame.
32Ka palungthin nam ongsak boeh pongah, na thuih ih loklam pongah ka cawnh han.
32I will run the way of Thy commandments, for Thou dost enlarge my heart.
33Aw Angraeng, na thuih ih loknawk pazuihaih loklam to na patuk ah; to loklam to boeng khoek to ka pazui han.
33HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of Thy statutes; and I will keep it at every step.
34Na kaalok to ka pazui hanah, panoek thaihaih to na paek ah; ue, kaalok to palungthin boih hoiah ka pazui han.
34Give me understanding, that I keep Thy law and observe it with my whole heart.
35Nang paek ih loknawk hoiah loklam na patuek ah; to loklam ah ni anghoehaih ka tawnh.
35Make me to tread in the path of Thy commandments; for therein do I delight.
36Ka palung hae khithaih bangah na ai ah, na thuih ih loknawk bangah paqoi ah.
36Incline my heart unto Thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
37Atho kaom ai hmuennawk khet han ai ah ka mik hae paqoi ving ah; na loklam ah na hingsak ah.
37Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity, and quicken me in Thy ways.
38Nang zithaih tawn, na tamna khaeah na lok to caksak ah.
38Confirm Thy word unto Thy servant, which pertaineth unto the fear of Thee.
39Na lokcaekhaih loe hoih baktih toengah, ka zit koek ih kasaethuihaih to na la pae ving ah.
39Turn away my reproach which I dread; for Thine ordinances are good.
40Khenah, nang paek ih loknawk to ka poek khing; na toenghaih bangah na hingsak ah.
40Behold, I have longed after Thy precepts; quicken me in Thy righteousness.
41Aw Angraeng, na tahmenhaih rang hoiah na lok baktih toengah, na pahlonghaih kai khaeah angzo nasoe.
41VAV. Let Thy mercies also come unto me, O LORD, even Thy salvation, according to Thy word;
42Na lok ah oephaih ka tawnh pongah, kai kasae thui kami to lok ka pathim han.
42That I may have an answer for him that taunteth me; for I trust in Thy word.
43Ka pakha thung hoiah loktang lok to na la pae ving hmah; na lokcaekhaih ah ni oephaih to ka suek.
43And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I hope in Thine ordinances;
44Na kaalok to dungzan hoi dungzan khoek to ka pazui han.
44So shall I observe Thy law continually for ever and ever;
45Nang patuk ih loknawk to ka pakrong pongah, pakaahaih om ai ah ka caeh han.
45And I will walk at ease, for I have sought Thy precepts;
46Nang paek ih loknawk to siangpahrangnawk hmaa ah ka thuih han, azathaih ka tongh mak ai.
46I will also speak of Thy testimonies before kings, and will not be ashamed.
47Kai loe ka palung ih, na lokpaekhaih ah kang hoe tih boeh.
47And I will delight myself in Thy commandments, which I have loved.
48Ka palung ih na lokpaekhaih bangah ban ka payangh tahang moe, nang patuk ih loknawk to ka poek han.
48I will lift up my hands also unto Thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in Thy statutes.
49Na tamna khaeah paek ih lok to panoek poe ah, to lok hoiah ni oephaih to nang paek.
49ZAIN. Remember the word unto Thy servant, because Thou hast made me to hope.
50Patangkhang naah hae lok mah monghaih ang paek; na lok mah ni kai ang hingsak.
50This is my comfort in my affliction, that Thy word hath quickened me.
51Amoek kaminawk mah kai ang pahnui o thuih; toe kai loe na kaalok hoiah kam khraeng ving ai.
51The proud have had me greatly in derision; yet have I not turned aside from Thy law.
52Aw Angraeng, canghnii ih lokcaekhaihnawk to ka pakuem poe pongah, monghaih to ang paek.
52I have remembered Thine ordinances which are of old, O LORD, and have comforted myself.
53Kasae kaminawk hoi na kaalok pahnawt kaminawk pongah, palungphuihaih mah kai ang pazawk.
53Burning indignation hath taken hold upon me, because of the wicked that forsake Thy law.
54Nang patuk ih lok loe kholong ka caehhaih ahmuen kruekah kai ih laa ah oh.
54Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
55Aw Angraeng, khoving ah, na hmin to ka poek moe, na kaaloknawk to ka pazui.
55I have remembered Thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have observed Thy law.
56Nang paek ih loknawk ka pazuihaih loe ka sakzong ih hmuen ah oh boeh.
56This I have had, that I have kept Thy precepts.
57Aw Angraeng, nang loe kai taham ah na oh; na loknawk to ka pazui han, tiah ka thuih boeh.
57HETH. My portion is the LORD, I have said that I would observe Thy words.
58Palungthin boih hoiah nang to kang pakrong boeh; na thuih ih lok baktih toengah na tahmen ah.
58I have entreated Thy favour with my whole heart; be gracious unto me according to Thy word.
59Ka caehhaih loklamnawk ka poek naah, nang paek ih loknawk bangah khok ka takan boeh.
59I considered my ways, and turned my feet unto Thy testimonies.
60Nang paek ih loknawk loe akra ai, karangah ka pazui roep.
60I made haste, and delayed not, to observe Thy commandments.
61Kasae kaminawk mah kai ang tuk o; toe na kaalok to ka pahnet ai.
61The bands of the wicked have enclosed me; but I have not forgotten Thy law.
62Katoengah lok na caek pongah, aqum ah kang thawk moe, nang khaeah kawnhaih lok ka thuih han.
62At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto Thee because of Thy righteous ordinances.
63Kai loe nang zithaih tawn kaminawk hoi nang paek ih loknawk pazui kaminawk boih ih, ampui ah ka oh.
63I am a companion of all them that fear Thee, and of them that observe Thy precepts.
64Aw Angraeng, long loe na tahmenhaih hoiah koi; na thuitaekhaih loknawk to na patuk ah.
64The earth, O LORD, is full of Thy mercy; teach me Thy statutes.
65Aw Angraeng, na lok baktih toengah, na tamna khaeah kahoih hmuen to na sah pae ah.
65TETH. Thou hast dealt well with Thy servant, O LORD, according unto Thy word.
66Nang paek ih loknawk to ka tang pongah, palunghahaih hoi kahoih lokcaekhaih to na paek ah.
66Teach me good discernment and knowledge; for I have believed Thy commandments.
67Loklam kam khraeng ving pongah, nang thuitaek vai boeh; toe vaihi loe na lok to ka tahngai boeh.
67Before I was afflicted, I did err; but now I observe Thy word.
68Nang loe na hoih, na sak ih hmuen doeh hoih; nang paek ih thuitaekhaih loknawk to na patuk ah.
68Thou art good, and doest good; teach me Thy statutes.
69Amoek kaminawk mah amsawnlok hoiah kai ahmin ang set o sak; toe nang paek ih loknawk to palungthin boih hoiah ka pazui han.
69The proud have forged a lie against me; but I with my whole heart will keep Thy precepts.
70Nihcae ih palung loe moithawk baktiah amkhawk; toe kai loe na kaalok ah anghoehaih ka tawnh.
70Their heart is gross like fat; but I delight in Thy law.
71Nang paek ih thuitaekhaih loknawk to kam tuk thai hanah, patangkhanghaih loe kai hanah hoih.
71It is good for me that I have been afflicted, in order that I might learn Thy statutes.
72Na pakha pong ih kaalok loe kai hanah, sui hoi sumkanglung sangto pongah doeh hoih kue.
72The law of Thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.
73Na ban hoiah nang sak moe, krang ah nang coengsak; nang paek ih loknawk kam tuk thai hanah, panoekthaihaih to na paek ah.
73JOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me; give me understanding, that I may learn Thy commandments.
74Na lok ah oephaih ka suek pongah, nang zithaih tawn kaminawk mah ang hnuk o naah anghoe o tih.
74They that fear Thee shall see me and be glad, because I have hope in Thy word.
75Aw Angraeng, nang loe toenghaih hoiah lok na caek, na oepthohhaih hoiah ni kai patang nang khangsak, tito ka panoek.
75I know, O LORD, that Thy judgments are righteous, and that in faithfulness Thou hast afflicted me.
76Na tamna khaeah na suek ih lok baktih toengah, na palungnathaih mah monghaih na paek nasoe, tiah lawk ka thuih.
76Let, I pray Thee, Thy lovingkindness be ready to comfort me, according to Thy promise unto Thy servant.
77Ka hing thai hanah, na palungnathaih kai khaeah om nasoe; na kaalok loe kang hoehaih ah oh.
77Let Thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live; for Thy law is my delight.
78Amoek kaminawk loe takung tidoeh om ai ah ka nuiah sethaih sak o pongah, azat o nasoe; toe kai loe nang patuk ih loknawk to ka pakuem han.
78Let the proud be put to shame, for they have distorted my cause with falsehood; but I will meditate in Thy precepts.
79Nang zithaih tawn kami hoi na thuih ih loknawk panoek kaminawk loe, nang khaeah amlaem o let nasoe.
79Let those that fear Thee return unto me, and they that know Thy testimonies.
80Azat ka tong han ai ah, nang thuitaekhaih loknawk pongah ka palung hae coek koi om ai ah om nasoe.
80Let my heart be undivided in Thy statutes, in order that I may not be put to shame.
81Na pahlonghaih to ka koeh loiah, ka pakhra thazok sut boeh; toe kai loe na lok ah ni oephaih to ka suek.
81CAPH. My soul pineth for Thy salvation; in Thy word do I hope.
82Ka miknawk mah na lok to danh, toe hnu ai; natuek naah maw kai nang mongsak tih? tiah ka thuih.
82Mine eyes fail for Thy word, saying: 'When wilt Thou comfort me?'
83Kai loe kazaek moihin pailang baktiah ni ka oh sut boeh, toe nang thuitaekhaih loknawk to ka pahnet ai.
83For I am become like a wine-skin in the smoke; yet do I not forget Thy statutes.
84Na tamna ih ni loe nasetto maw akra vop tih? Kai pacaekthlaek kaminawk to natuek naah maw lok na caek han?
84How many are the days of Thy servant? When wilt Thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?
85Na kaalok baktih na ai ah, amoek kaminawk mah kai hanah tangqom ang takaeh pae o.
85The proud have digged pits for me, which is not according to Thy law.
86Nang paek ih loknawk boih loe oepthoh; tidoeh na ai ah nihcae mah kai ang pacaekthlaek o; na bom ah.
86All Thy commandments are faithful; they persecute me for nought; help Thou me.
87Long nuiah nihcae mah kai ang tamit o tom boeh, toe na paek ih loknawk to ka pahnawt sut ai.
87They had almost consumed me upon earth; but as for me, I forsook not Thy precepts.
88Nam lunghaih hoiah ka hinghaih hae pathawk ah, to tiah ni pakha hoi na thuih ih loknawk to ka pakuem thai tih.
88Quicken me after Thy lovingkindness, and I will observe the testimony of Thy mouth.
89Aw Angraeng, na lok loe van ah, dungzan khoek to cak.
89LAMED. For ever, O LORD, Thy word standeth fast in heaven.
90Na oepthohhaih loe angzo han koi caanawk dung khoek to cak; long loe na caksak ih baktih toengah, oh poe.
90Thy faithfulness is unto all generations; Thou hast established the earth, and it standeth.
91Na sakzong ih atawk loe vaihni khoek to cak, to sak ih hmuennawk loe na tamna ah ni oh o boih.
91They stand this day according to Thine ordinances; for all things are Thy servants.
92Na kaalok to kang hoehaih ah om ai nahaeloe, patangkhanghaih hoiah kang hmaa tih boeh.
92Unless Thy law had been my delight, I should then have perished in mine affliction.
93Nang patuk ih loknawk to natuek naah doeh ka pahnet mak ai; to loknawk hoiah ni nang hingsak.
93I will never forget Thy precepts; for with them Thou hast quickened me.
94Na pahlong ah, nang ih hmuen ah ni ka oh; kai loe nang patuk ih loknawk to ni ka pakrong.
94I am Thine, save me; for I have sought Thy precepts.
95Kasae kaminawk loe kai hum hanah zing o; toe kai loe na thuih ih loknawk ni ka poek han.
95The wicked have waited for me to destroy me; but I will consider Thy testimonies.
96Kacung bit baktiah kamtueng hmuennawk boih loe boenghaih oh, tiah ka hnuk; toe nang paek ih loknawk loe paroeai kawk.
96I have seen an end to every purpose; but Thy commandment is exceeding broad.
97Aw na lok hae kawkruk maw ka palung! Athun qui ka poek.
97MEM. O how love I Thy law! It is my meditation all the day.
98Ka misanawk pongah nang paek ih loknawk mah palung ang hasak kue; to loknawk loe ka taengah oh o poe.
98Thy commandments make me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.
99Na thuih ih loknawk to ka poek pongah, kai patuk kaminawk boih pongah panoekhaih ka tawnh kue.
99I have more understanding than all my teachers; for Thy testimonies are my meditation.
100Nang patuk ih loknawk to ka pazui pongah, canghnii ih kaminawk pongah doeh panoekhaih ka tawnh kue.
100I understand more than mine elders, because I have keep Thy precepts.
101Na lok tahngaih thai hanah, kasae loklamnawk thungah khok ka takan ai.
101I have refrained my feet from every evil way, in order that I might observe Thy word.
102Nang patuk boeh pongah, na lokcaekhaih thung hoiah kam khraeng ai.
102I have not turned aside from Thine ordinances; for Thou hast instructed me.
103Ka pataeng naah na loknawk loe kawkruk maw luep! ue, ka pakha ah loe khoitui pongah doeh luep kue!
103How sweet are Thy words unto my palate! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
104Nang patuk ih loknawk rang hoiah palunghahaih to ka hnuk; to pongah katoeng ai loklamnawk boih to ka hnukma.
104From Thy precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.
105Na lok loe ka khok hanah hmaithaw ah oh moe, ka caehhaih loklam hanah aanghaih ah oh.
105NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
106Katoeng na lokcaekhaih pazui han, tiah lokkamhaih to ka caksak han.
106I have sworn, and have confirmed it, to observe Thy righteous ordinances.
107Paroeai patang ka khang; Aw Angraeng, na lok baktih toengah, na pathawk ah.
107I am afflicted very much; quicken me, O LORD, according unto Thy word.
108Aw Angraeng, ka pakha mah koehhaih baktiah paek ih hmuen to nang talawk pae hanah, kang hnik; na lokcaekhaihnawk to na patuk ah.
108Accept, I beseech Thee, the freewill-offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me Thine ordinances.
109Ka hinghaih loe ka ban ah ni oh poe; toe na kaalok to ka pahnet ai.
109My soul is continually in my hand; yet have I not forgotten Thy law.
110Kasae kaminawk mah kai hanah thaang ang patung pae o; toe kai loe nang paek ih loknawk hoi kam khraeng ving ai.
110The wicked have laid a snare for me; yet went I not astray from Thy precepts.
111Na thuih ih loknawk loe kai hanah dungzan qawk ah oh moe, ka palung anghoehaih ah oh.
111Thy testimonies have I taken as a heritage for ever; for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
112Nang thuitaekhaih loknawk boeng khoek to pazui poe hanah, ka palungthin hae ka paongh.
112I have inclined my heart to perform Thy statutes, for ever, at every step.
113Poek angphae kaminawk to ka hnukma; toe na kaalok loe ka palung.
113SAMECH. I hate them that are of a double mind; but Thy law do I love.
114Nang loe ka buephaih hoi kai pakaahaih ah na oh; na lok ah oephaih ka tawnh.
114Thou art my covert and my shield; in Thy word do I hope.
115Nangcae kahoih ai hmuen sah kaminawk, kai khae hoi tacawt oh; ka Sithaw mah paek ih loknawk to ka pazui han.
115Depart from me, ye evildoers; that I may keep the commandments of my God.
116Ka hing thai hanah, na lok baktih toengah na patawn ah; oephaih ka tawnh pongah na zatsak hmah.
116Uphold me according unto Thy word, that I may live; and put me not to shame in my hope.
117Ka loih hanah, na patawn ah; nang thuitaekhaih loknawk to ka pazui poe han.
117Support Thou me, and I shall be saved; and I will occupy myself with Thy statutes continually.
118Na thuitaekhaih loknawk hoi amkhraeng kaminawk boih to na pahnawt; nihcae loe aling hanah lok amlai o.
118Thou hast made light of all them that err from Thy statutes; for their deceit is vain.
119Kami zae, long kaminawk boih to sum aek baktiah na takhoe baat pongah, na thuih ih loknawk to ka palung.
119Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross; therefore I love Thy testimonies.
120Nang kang zit loiah ka tasoeh; na lokcaekhaihnawk to ka zit.
120My flesh shuddereth for fear of Thee; and I am afraid of Thy judgments.
121Kai loe kamsoem lokcaekhaih hoi toenghaih to ka sak boeh; kai hnaphnae kaminawk khaeah na caeh taak hmah.
121AIN. I have done justice and righteousness; leave me not to mine oppressors.
122Na tamna kai ka hoih thai hanah na caksak ah; amoek kaminawk mah na pacaekthalek o hmah nasoe.
122Be surety for Thy servant for good; let not the proud oppress me.
123Na pahlonghaih hoi na toenghaih loknawk to, mik hoiah ka khet.
123Mine eyes fail for Thy salvation, and for Thy righteous word.
124Na palungnathaih baktih toengah, na tamna khaeah sah rae ah loe, nang thuitaekhaih loknawk to na patuk ah.
124Deal with Thy servant according unto Thy mercy, and teach me Thy statutes.
125Kai loe na tamna ah ni ka oh; na thuih ih loknawk ka panoek thai hanah, thaikophaih to na paek ah.
125I am Thy servant, give me understanding, that I may know Thy testimonies.
126Aw Angraeng, vaihi loe na toksakhaih atue ah ni oh boeh; nihcae loe na kaalok to phraek o boeh.
126It is time for the LORD to work; they have made void Thy law.
127Sui pongah doeh, ue, atui kaciim sui pongah doeh, nang paek ih loknawk to ka palung kue.
127Therefore I love Thy commandments above gold, yea, above fine gold.
128To pongah nang paek ih loknawk boih loe toeng tiah ka poek; katoeng ai loklamnawk boih loe ka hnukma.
128Therefore I esteem all Thy precepts concerning all things to be right; every false way I hate.
129Na thuih ih loknawk loe dawnrai han oh; to pongah ka pakhra mah pazui.
129PE. Thy testimonies are wonderful; therefore doth my soul keep them.
