2Aw Angraeng, amsawnlok thuihaih pahninawk hoi alinghaih palainawk thung hoiah na pahlong ah.
2O LORD, deliver my soul from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue.
3Aw aling thaih palai nang, kawbaktih danpaekhaih maw nang paek han? To tih ai boeh loe na nuiah timaw ka sak han?
3What shall be given unto thee, and what shall be done more unto thee, thou deceitful tongue?
4Nang loe thacak kami ih kasum palaa hoi hmai kamngaeh thing hoiah thuitaek han oh.
4Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of broom.
5Kedar ih kahni im ah ka oh moe, Meshek ah ka oh pongah, kai han khosak bingh!
5Woe is me, that I sojourn with Meshech, that I dwell beside the tents of Kedar!
6Ka hinghaih hnuma moe, angdaehhaih hnuma kami hoi nawnto ohhaih atue sawk parai boeh.
6My soul hath full long had her dwelling with him that hateth peace.
7Kai loe angdaehhaih koeh kami ah ka oh; toe lok ka thuih naah, nihcae loe misa angcoenghaih to koeh o lat.
7I am all peace; but when I speak, they are for war.
