1This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made He him;
1หนังสือเล่มนี้บันทึกเรื่องราวความเป็นมาของอาดัม ในวันที่พระเจ้าสร้างมนุษย์ พระองค์ทำให้เขามีลักษณะคล้ายพระเจ้า
2male and female created He them, and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
2พระองค์สร้างพวกเขาเป็นชายและหญิงและอวยพรพวกเขา ในวันที่สร้างพวกเขาพระองค์เรียกพวกเขาว่า“อาดัม”
3And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth.

4And the days of Adam after he begot Seth were eight hundred years; and he begot sons and daughters.

5And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died.

6And Seth lived a hundred and five years, and begot Enosh.
6เมื่อเสทอายุ 105 ปีเขามีลูกชายชื่อเอโนช
7And Seth lived after he begot Enosh eight hundred and seven years, and begot sons and daughters.
7หลังจากมีเอโนชแล้วเสทมีชีวิตอยู่อีก 807 ปีและมีลูกชายลูกสาวอีก
8And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years; and he died.

9And Enosh lived ninety years, and begot Kenan.
9เมื่อเอโนชอายุ 90 ปีเขามีลูกชายชื่อเคนัน
10And Enosh lived after he begot Kenan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begot sons and daughters.
10หลังจากมีเคนันแล้วเอโนชมีชีวิตอยู่อีก 815 ปีและมีลูกชายลูกสาวอีก
11And all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years; and he died.
11รวมอายุของเอโนช 905 ปีแล้วเขาก็ตาย
12And Kenan lived seventy years, and begot Mahalalel.
12เมื่อเคนันอายุ 70 ปีเขามีลูกชายชื่อมาหะลาเลล
13And Kenan lived after he begot Mahalalel eight hundred and forty years, and begot sons and daughters.
13หลังจากมีมาหะลาเลลแล้วเคนันมีชีวิตอยู่อีก 840 ปีและมีลูกชายลูกสาวอีก
14And all the days of Kenan were nine hundred and ten years; and he died.

15And Mahalalel lived sixty and five years, and begot Jared.
15เมื่อมาหะลาเลลอายุ 65 ปีเขามีลูกชายชื่อยาเรด
16And Mahalalel lived after he begot Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begot sons and daughters.
16หลังจากมียาเรดแล้วมาหะลาเลลมีชีวิตอยู่อีก 830 ปีและมีลูกชายลูกสาวอีก
17And all the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred ninety and five years; and he died.
17รวมอายุของมาหะลาเลล 895 ปีแล้วเขาก็ตาย
18And Jared lived a hundred sixty and two years, and begot Enoch.
18เมื่อยาเรดอายุ 162 ปีเขามีลูกชายชื่อเอโนค
19And Jared lived after he begot Enoch eight hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.
19หลังจากมีเอโนคแล้วยาเรดมีชีวิตอยู่อีก 800 ปีและมีลูกชายลูกสาวอีก
20And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years; and he died.
20รวมอายุของยาเรด 962 ปีแล้วเขาก็ตาย
21And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begot Methuselah.
21เมื่อเอโนคอายุ 65 ปีเขามีลูกชายชื่อเมธูเสลาห์
22And Enoch walked with God after he begot Methuselah three hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.
22หลังจากเมธูเสลาห์เกิดเอโนคดำเนินชีวิตกับพระเจ้าเป็นเวลา 300 ปีและมีลูกชายลูกสาวอีก
23And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years.
23รวมอายุของเอโนค 365 ปี
24And Enoch walked with God, and he was not; for God took him.
24เอโนคดำเนินชีวิตกับพระเจ้าแล้วก็ไม่พบเขาอีกเพราะพระเจ้ารับเขาไป
25And Methuselah lived a hundred eighty and seven years, and begot Lamech.
25เมื่อเมธูเสลาห์อายุ 187 ปีเขามีลูกชายชื่อลาเมค
26And Methuselah lived after he begot Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begot sons and daughters.
26หลังจากมีลาเมคแล้วเมธูเสลาห์มีชีวิตอยู่อีก 782 ปีและมีลูกชายลูกสาวอีก
27And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years; and he died.
27รวมอายุของเมธูเสลาห์ 969 ปีแล้วเขาก็ตาย
28And Lamech lived a hundred eighty and two years, and begot a son.
28เมื่อลาเมคอายุ 182 ปีเขามีลูกชายคนหนึ่ง
29And he called his name Noah, saying: 'This same shall comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, which cometh from the ground which the LORD hath cursed.'
29เขาตั้งชื่อลูกว่าโนอาห์ และกล่าวว่า “ลูกคนนี้จะปลอบโยนพวกเราจากงานและความเหน็ดเหนื่อยที่ต้องตรากตรำทำด้วยสองมือ เพราะดินที่พระยาห์เวห์สาปไว้”
30And Lamech lived after he begot Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begot sons and daughters.
30หลังจากมีโนอาห์แล้วลาเมคมีชีวิตอยู่อีก 595 ปีและมีลูกชายลูกสาวอีก
31And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years; and he died.
31รวมอายุของลาเมค 777 ปีแล้วเขาก็ตาย
32And Noah was five hundred years old; and Noah begot Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
32เมื่อโนอาห์อายุ 500 ปีเขามีลูกชายคือเชม, ฮาม และยาเฟท
