1And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them: 'Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth.
1พระเจ้าอวยพรโนอาห์กับลูกชาย และกล่าวกับพวกเขาว่า “จงมีลูกดก เพิ่มจำนวนจนเต็มแผ่นดิน
2And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, and upon all wherewith the ground teemeth, and upon all the fishes of the sea: into your hand are they delivered.
2สัตว์ทุกชนิดบนแผ่นดินและนกทุกชนิดบนท้องฟ้าจะกลัวและหวาดหวั่นพวกเจ้า ทุกสิ่งที่เคลื่อนไหวบนพื้นดินและปลาทั้งหมดในทะเลอยู่ในอำนาจของพวกเจ้า
3Every moving thing that liveth shall be for food for you; as the green herb have I given you all.
3สิ่งมีชีวิตทุกอย่างที่เคลื่อนไหวจะเป็นอาหารของพวกเจ้า เรามอบทุกอย่างให้พวกเจ้าเหมือนที่เคยมอบพืชเขียวให้
4Only flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
4แต่ห้ามกินเนื้อพร้อมเลือดของมัน ซึ่งเป็นชีวิตของมัน
5And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it; and at the hand of man, even at the hand of every man's brother, will I require the life of man.
5เราจะทวงชีวิตคืนเพราะเลือดของพวกเจ้าอย่างแน่นอน เราจะทวงจากสัตว์ทุกตัว และจากมนุษย์ทุกคน จากพี่น้องของเขาเอง เราจะทวงชีวิตมนุษย์คืน
6Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God made He man.
6ใครทำให้เลือดมนุษย์หลั่ง มนุษย์ก็จะทำให้เลือดของคนนั้นหลั่งเช่นกัน เพราะพระเจ้าสร้างมนุษย์ตามภาพของพระองค์
7And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; swarm in the earth, and multiply therein.'
7ส่วนพวกเจ้าจงมีลูกดกและเพิ่มจำนวน จงเพิ่มจำนวนอย่างมากบนแผ่นดินและทวีขึ้นบนนั้น”
8And God spoke unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying:
8พระเจ้ากล่าวกับโนอาห์และลูกชายของเขาว่า
9'As for Me, behold, I establish My covenant with you, and with your seed after you;
9“ส่วนเราเอง เราตั้งพันธสัญญาของเรากับพวกเจ้า และกับลูกหลานของพวกเจ้าที่จะมาภายหลัง
10and with every living creature that is with you, the fowl, the cattle, and every beast of the earth with you; of all that go out of the ark, even every beast of the earth.
10รวมทั้งสิ่งมีชีวิตทุกชนิดที่อยู่กับพวกเจ้า คือนก, ปศุสัตว์ และสัตว์ทุกชนิดบนแผ่นดินที่อยู่กับพวกเจ้า ทุกตัวที่ออกจากเรือ คือสัตว์ทุกชนิดบนแผ่นดิน
11And I will establish My covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of the flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.'
11เราจะตั้งพันธสัญญาของเรากับพวกเจ้าว่าจะไม่มีสิ่งมีชีวิตทั้งปวงถูกทำลายด้วยน้ำท่วมอีกและจะไม่มีน้ำท่วมมาทำลายแผ่นดินอีกเลย”
12And God said: 'This is the token of the covenant which I make between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
12พระเจ้ากล่าวว่า“นี่คือเครื่องหมายของพันธสัญญาที่เราทำระหว่างเรากับพวกเจ้าและสิ่งมีชีวิตทุกชนิดที่อยู่กับพวกเจ้าสำหรับคนทุกรุ่นต่อไป
13I have set My bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between Me and the earth.
13เราตั้งรุ้งของเราไว้ในเมฆและมันจะเป็นเครื่องหมายของพันธสัญญาระหว่างเรากับแผ่นดิน
14And it shall come to pass, when I bring clouds over the earth, and the bow is seen in the cloud,
14เมื่อเรานำเมฆมาปกคลุมแผ่นดินและรุ้งปรากฏในเมฆ
15that I will remember My covenant, which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
15เราจะระลึกถึงพันธสัญญาของเราซึ่งอยู่ระหว่างเรากับพวกเจ้าและสิ่งมีชีวิตทุกชนิด น้ำจะไม่กลายเป็นน้ำท่วมเพื่อทำลายสิ่งมีชีวิตทั้งปวงอีก
16And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.'
16รุ้งจะอยู่ในเมฆ เมื่อเรามองเห็นเราจะระลึกถึงพันธสัญญานิรันดร์ระหว่างพระเจ้ากับสิ่งมีชีวิตทุกชนิดที่อยู่บนแผ่นดิน”
17And God said unto Noah: 'This is the token of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is upon the earth.'
17พระเจ้ากล่าวกับโนอาห์ว่า“นี่คือเครื่องหมายของพันธสัญญาที่เราตั้งไว้ระหว่างเรากับสิ่งมีชีวิตทั้งปวงที่อยู่บนแผ่นดิน”
18And the sons of Noah, that went forth from the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth; and Ham is the father of Canaan.
18ลูกชายของโนอาห์ที่ออกจากเรือคือเชม, ฮาม และยาเฟท ฮามเป็นพ่อของคานาอัน
19These three were the sons of Noah, and of these was the whole earth overspread.
19ทั้งสามคนนี้เป็นลูกชายของโนอาห์ และผู้คนทั่วทั้งแผ่นดินสืบเชื้อสายมาจากพวกเขา
20And Noah the husbandman began, and planted a vineyard.
20โนอาห์เริ่มทำไร่ แล้วปลูกองุ่นเป็นสวน
21And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.
21เขาดื่มเหล้าองุ่นจนเมาและนอนเปลือยอยู่ในเต็นท์
22And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.
22ฮามพ่อของคานาอันเห็นพ่อเปลือยกายอยู่ แล้วออกไปบอกพี่น้องสองคนที่อยู่ข้างนอก
23And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.
23เชมกับยาเฟทเอาเสื้อคลุมพาดบนไหล่ของทั้งสอง แล้วเดินถอยหลังเข้าไปคลุมร่างเปลือยของพ่อ พวกเขาหันหน้าไปทางอื่น จึงไม่เห็นพ่อเปลือยกาย
24And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his youngest son had done unto him.
24เมื่อโนอาห์หายเมาและรู้ว่าลูกชายคนเล็กทำอะไรกับเขา
25And he said: Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
25เขากล่าวว่า “คานาอันถูกสาป เขาจะเป็นคนรับใช้ที่ต่ำต้อยที่สุดของพี่น้องของเขา”
26And he said: Blessed be the LORD, the God of Shem; and let Canaan be their servant.
26แล้วโนอาห์กล่าวว่า “ขอให้พระยาห์เวห์พระเจ้าของเชมได้รับคำสรรเสริญ และให้คานาอันเป็นคนรับใช้ของเขา
27God enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and let Canaan be their servant.
27ขอให้พระเจ้าทำให้ยาเฟทแผ่ขยายออกไป ให้เขาอาศัยอยู่ในเต็นท์ของเชม และให้คานาอันเป็นคนรับใช้ของเขา”
28And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years.
28หลังจากน้ำท่วมโนอาห์มีชีวิตอยู่อีก 350 ปี
29And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years; and he died.
29รวมอายุของโนอาห์ 950 ปีแล้วเขาก็ตาย
