1This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made He him;
1Este é o livro das gerações de Adão. No dia em que Deus criou o homem, ele o fez à semelhança de Deus.
2male and female created He them, and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
2Ele os criou homem e mulher, e os abençoou. No dia em que foram criados, ele os chamou de Adão.
3And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth.
3Adão viveu cento e trinta anos, e gerou um filho à sua própria semelhança, conforme a sua imagem, e o chamou de Sete.
4And the days of Adam after he begot Seth were eight hundred years; and he begot sons and daughters.
4Os dias de Adão, depois que gerou a Sete, foram oitocentos anos, e ele gerou outros filhos e filhas.
5And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died.
5Todos os dias que Adão viveu foram novecentos e trinta anos, e então ele morreu.
6And Seth lived a hundred and five years, and begot Enosh.

7And Seth lived after he begot Enosh eight hundred and seven years, and begot sons and daughters.

22And Enoch walked with God after he begot Methuselah three hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.

23And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years.

24And Enoch walked with God, and he was not; for God took him.

25And Methuselah lived a hundred eighty and seven years, and begot Lamech.
25Matusalém viveu cento e oitenta e sete anos, e então gerou a Lameque.
26And Methuselah lived after he begot Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begot sons and daughters.
26Matusalém viveu, depois que gerou a Lameque, setecentos e oitenta e dois anos, e gerou outros filhos e filhas.
27And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years; and he died.
27Todos os dias de Matusalém foram novecentos e sessenta e nove anos, e então ele morreu.
28And Lamech lived a hundred eighty and two years, and begot a son.
28Lameque viveu cento e oitenta e dois anos, e então gerou um filho.
29And he called his name Noah, saying: 'This same shall comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, which cometh from the ground which the LORD hath cursed.'
29Ele o chamou de Noé, dizendo: “Este nos consolará em nosso trabalho e na fadiga de nossas mãos, causados pela terra que o SENHOR amaldiçoou.”
30And Lamech lived after he begot Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begot sons and daughters.
30Lameque viveu, depois que gerou a Noé, quinhentos e noventa e cinco anos, e gerou outros filhos e filhas.
31And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years; and he died.
31Todos os dias de Lameque foram setecentos e setenta e sete anos, e então ele morreu.
32And Noah was five hundred years old; and Noah begot Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
32Noé tinha quinhentos anos de idade, e então Noé gerou a Sem, Cam e Jafé.
