1Now these are the generations of Esau — the same is Edom.
1Esta é a história das gerações de Esaú (isto é, Edom).
2Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite,
2Esaú tomou suas mulheres dentre as filhas de Canaã: Ada, filha de Elom, o heteu; e Oolibama, filha de Aná, filha de Zibeão, o heveu;
3and Basemath Ishmael's daughter, sister of Nebaioth.
3e Basemate, filha de Ismael, irmã de Nebaiote.
4And Adah bore to Esau Eliphaz; and Basemath bore Reuel;
4Ada deu à luz Elifaz a Esaú. Basemate deu à luz Reuel.
5and Oholibamah bore Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah. These are the sons of Esau, that were born unto him in the land of Canaan.
5Oolibama deu à luz Jeús, Jalão e Corá. Estes são os filhos de Esaú, que lhe nasceram na terra de Canaã.
6And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the souls of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his possessions, which he had gathered in the land of Canaan; and went into a land away from his brother Jacob.
6Esaú tomou suas mulheres, seus filhos, suas filhas e todos os membros de sua casa, com seu rebanho, todos os seus animais e todos os seus bens, que havia ajuntado na terra de Canaã, e foi para uma terra longe de seu irmão Jacó.
7For their substance was too great for them to dwell together; and the land of their sojournings could not bear them because of their cattle.
7Pois os bens deles eram grandes demais para habitarem juntos, e a terra de suas peregrinações não podia sustentá-los por causa de seus rebanhos.
8And Esau dwelt in the mountain-land of Seir — Esau is Edom.
8Esaú habitou na região montanhosa de Seir. Esaú é Edom.
9And these are the generations of Esau the father of a the Edomites in the mountain-land of Seir.

10These are the names of Esau's sons: Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Basemath the wife of Esau.
10estes são os nomes dos filhos de Esaú: Elifaz, filho de Ada, mulher de Esaú; e Reuel, filho de Basemate, mulher de Esaú.
11And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.
11Os filhos de Elifaz foram Temã, Omar, Zefô, Gatã e Quenaz.
12And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau's son; and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek. These are the sons of Adah Esau's wife.
12Timna era concubina de Elifaz, filho de Esaú; e ela deu à luz Amaleque a Elifaz. Estes são os descendentes de Ada, mulher de Esaú.
13And these are the sons of Reuel: Nahath, and Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah. These were the sons of Basemath Esau's wife.
13Estes são os filhos de Reuel: Naate, Zerá, Samá e Mizá. Estes foram os descendentes de Basemate, mulher de Esaú.
14And these were the sons of Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon, Esau's wife; and she bore to Esau Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah.
14Estes foram os filhos de Oolibama, filha de Aná, filha de Zibeão, mulher de Esaú: ela deu à luz a Esaú Jeús, Jalão e Corá.
15These are the chiefs of the sons of Esau: the sons of Eliphaz the first-born of Esau: the chief of Teman, the chief of Omar, the chief of Zepho, the chief of Kenaz,
15Estes são os chefes dos filhos de Esaú: os filhos de Elifaz, o primogênito de Esaú: o chefe Temã, o chefe Omar, o chefe Zefô, o chefe Quenaz,
16the chief of Korah, the chief of Gatam, the chief of Amalek. These are the chiefs that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom. These are the sons of Adah.

17And these are the sons of Reuel Esau's son: the chief of Nahath, the chief of Zerah, the chief of Shammah, the chief of Mizzah. These are the chiefs that came of Reuel in the land of Edom. These are the sons of Basemath Esau's wife.

18And these are the sons of Oholibamah Esau's wife: the chief of Jeush, the chief of Jalam, the chief of Korah. These are the chiefs that came of Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau's wife.
18Estes são os filhos de Oolibama, mulher de Esaú: o chefe Jeús, o chefe Jalão, o chefe Corá. Estes são os chefes que descenderam de Oolibama, filha de Aná, mulher de Esaú.
19These are the sons of Esau, and these are their chiefs; the same is Edom.

20These are the sons of Seir the Horite, the inhabitants of the land: Lotan and Shobal and Zibeon and Anah,
20Estes são os filhos de Seir, o horeu, os habitantes da terra: Lotã, Sobal, Zibeão, Aná,
21and Dishon and Ezer and Dishan. These are the chiefs that came of the Horites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.

22And the children of Lotan were Hori and Hemam; and Lotan's sister was Timna.
22Os filhos de Lotã foram Hori e Hemã. A irmã de Lotã era Timna.
23And these are the children of Shobal: Alvan and Manahath and Ebal, Shepho and Onam.
23Estes são os filhos de Sobal: Alvã, Manaate, Ebal, Sefô e Onã.
24And these are the children of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah — this is Anah who found the hot springs in the wilderness, as he fed the asses of Zibeon his father.

31And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel.
31Estes são os reis que reinaram na terra de Edom, antes que qualquer rei reinasse sobre os filhos de Israel.
32And Bela the son of Beor reigned in Edom; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
32Belá, filho de Beor, reinou em Edom. O nome da sua cidade era Dinabá.
33And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
33Belá morreu, e Jobabe, filho de Zerá, de Bozra, reinou em seu lugar.
34And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.

35And Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Avith.

36And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

37And Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the River reigned in his stead.

39And Baal-hanan the son of Achbor died, and Hadar reigned in his stead; and the name of the city was Pau; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-zahab.
39Baal-Hanã, filho de Acbor, morreu, e Hadar reinou em seu lugar. O nome da sua cidade era Pau. O nome da sua mulher era Meetabel, filha de Matrede, filha de Mezaabe.
40And these are the names of the chiefs that came of Esau, according to their families, after their places, by their names: the chief of Timna, the chief of Alvah, the chief of Jetheth;
40Estes são os nomes dos chefes que descenderam de Esaú, de acordo com as suas famílias, segundo os seus lugares, e pelos seus nomes: o chefe Timna, o chefe Alva, o chefe Jetete,
41the chief of Oholibamah, the chief of Elah, the chief of Pinon;
41o chefe Oolibama, o chefe Elá, o chefe Pinom,
42the chief of Kenaz, the chief of Teman, the chief of Mibzar;
42o chefe Quenaz, o chefe Temã, o chefe Mibzar,
43the chief of Magdiel, the chief of Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom, according to their habitations in the land of their possession. This is Esau the father of the Edomites.
