1Now these are the generations of Esau — the same is Edom.
1و پیدایش عیسو که ادوم باشد، این است:
2Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite,
2عیسو زنان خود را از دختران کنعانیان گرفت: یعنی عاده دختر ایلون حتی، واهولیبامه دختر عنی، دختر صبعون حوی،
3and Basemath Ishmael's daughter, sister of Nebaioth.
3وبسمه دختر اسماعیل، خواهر نبایوت.
4And Adah bore to Esau Eliphaz; and Basemath bore Reuel;
4و عاده، الیفاز را برای عیسو زایید، و بسمه، رعوئیل رابزاد،
5and Oholibamah bore Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah. These are the sons of Esau, that were born unto him in the land of Canaan.
5و اهولیبامه یعوش، و یعلام و قورح رازایید. اینانند پسران عیسو که برای وی در زمین کنعان متولد شدند.
6And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the souls of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his possessions, which he had gathered in the land of Canaan; and went into a land away from his brother Jacob.
6پس عیسو زنان و پسران ودختران و جمیع اهل بیت، و مواشی و همه حیوانات، و تمامی اندوخته خود را که در زمین کنعان اندوخته بود، گرفته، از نزد برادر خودیعقوب به زمین دیگر رفت.
7For their substance was too great for them to dwell together; and the land of their sojournings could not bear them because of their cattle.
7زیرا که اموال ایشان زیاده بود از آنکه با هم سکونت کنند. و زمین غربت ایشان بسبب مواشی ایشان گنجایش ایشان نداشت.
8And Esau dwelt in the mountain-land of Seir — Esau is Edom.
8و عیسو در جبل سعیر ساکن شد. وعیسو همان ادوم است.
9And these are the generations of Esau the father of a the Edomites in the mountain-land of Seir.
9و این است پیدایش عیسو پدر ادوم در جبل سعیر:
10These are the names of Esau's sons: Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Basemath the wife of Esau.
10اینست نامهای پسران عیسو: الیفاز پسرعاده، زن عیسو، و رعوئیل، پسر بسمه، زن عیسو.
11And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.
11و بنی الیفاز: تیمان و اومار و صفوا و جعتام وقناز بودند.
12And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau's son; and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek. These are the sons of Adah Esau's wife.
12و تمناع، کنیز الیفاز، پسر عیسوبود. وی عمالیق را برای الیفاز زایید. اینانندپسران عاده زن عیسو.
13And these are the sons of Reuel: Nahath, and Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah. These were the sons of Basemath Esau's wife.
13و اینانند پسران رعوئیل: نحت و زارع و شمه و مزه. اینانند پسران بسمه زن عیسو.
14And these were the sons of Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon, Esau's wife; and she bore to Esau Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah.
14و اینانند پسران اهولیبامه دختر عنی، دختر صبعون، زن عیسو که یعوش ویعلام و قورح را برای عیسو زایید.
15These are the chiefs of the sons of Esau: the sons of Eliphaz the first-born of Esau: the chief of Teman, the chief of Omar, the chief of Zepho, the chief of Kenaz,
15اینانند امرای بنی عیسو: پسران الیفازنخست زاده عیسو، یعنی امیر تیمان و امیر اومار وامیر صفوا و امیر قناز،
16the chief of Korah, the chief of Gatam, the chief of Amalek. These are the chiefs that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom. These are the sons of Adah.
16و امیر قورح و امیرجعتام و امیر عمالیق. اینانند امرای الیفاز در زمین ادوم. اینانند پسران عاده.
17And these are the sons of Reuel Esau's son: the chief of Nahath, the chief of Zerah, the chief of Shammah, the chief of Mizzah. These are the chiefs that came of Reuel in the land of Edom. These are the sons of Basemath Esau's wife.
17و اینان پسران رعوئیل بن عیسو می‌باشند: امیر نحت و امیر زارح و امیر شمه و امیر مزه. اینهاامرای رعوئیل در زمین ادوم بودند. اینانند پسران بسمه زن عیسو.
18And these are the sons of Oholibamah Esau's wife: the chief of Jeush, the chief of Jalam, the chief of Korah. These are the chiefs that came of Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau's wife.
18و اینانند بنی اهولیبامه زن عیسو: امیریعوش و امیر یعلام و امیر قورح. اینها امرای اهولیبامه دختر عنی، زن عیسو می‌باشند.
19These are the sons of Esau, and these are their chiefs; the same is Edom.
19اینانند پسران عیسو که ادوم باشد و اینهاامرای ایشان می‌باشند.
20These are the sons of Seir the Horite, the inhabitants of the land: Lotan and Shobal and Zibeon and Anah,
20و اینانند پسران سعیر حوری که ساکن آن زمین بودند، یعنی: لوطان و شوبال و صبعون وعنی،
21and Dishon and Ezer and Dishan. These are the chiefs that came of the Horites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.
21و دیشون و ایصر و دیشان. اینانند امرای حوریان و پسران سعیر در زمین ادوم.
22And the children of Lotan were Hori and Hemam; and Lotan's sister was Timna.
22و پسران لوطان: حوری و هیمام بودند وخواهر لوطان تمناع، بود.
23And these are the children of Shobal: Alvan and Manahath and Ebal, Shepho and Onam.
23و اینانند پسران شوبال: علوان و منحت و عیبال و شفو و اونام.
24And these are the children of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah — this is Anah who found the hot springs in the wilderness, as he fed the asses of Zibeon his father.
24و اینانند بنی صبعون: ایه و عنی. همین عنی است که چشمه های آب گرم را در صحرا پیدانمود، هنگامی که الاغهای پدر خود، صبعون رامی چرانید.
25And these are the children of Anah: Dishon and Oholibamah the daughter of Anah.
25و اینانند اولاد عنی: دیشون واهولیبامه دختر عنی.
26And these are the children of Dishon: Hemdan and Eshban and Ithran and Cheran.
26و اینانند پسران دیشان: حمدان و اشبان و بتران و کران.
27These are the children of Ezer: Bilhan and Zaavan and Akan.
27و اینانند پسران ایصر: بلهان و زعوان و عقان.
28These are the children of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
28اینانند پسران دیشان: عوص و اران.
29These are the chiefs that came of the Horites: the chief of Lotan, the chief of Shobal, the chief of Zibeon, the chief of Anah,
29اینها امرای حوریانند: امیر لوطان و امیرشوبال و امیر صبعون و امیر عنی،
30the chief of Dishon, the chief of Ezer, the chief of Dishan. These are the chiefs that came of the Horites, according to their chiefs in the land of Seir.
30امیر دیشون و امیر ایصر و امیر دیشان. اینها امرای حوریانند به حسب امرای ایشان در زمین سعیر.
31And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel.
31و اینانند پادشاهانی که در زمین ادوم سلطنت کردند، قبل از آنکه پادشاهی بربنی‌اسرائیل سلطنت کند:
32And Bela the son of Beor reigned in Edom; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
32و بالع بن بعور درادوم پادشاهی کرد، و نام شهر او دینهابه بود.
33And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
33وبالع مرد، و در جایش یوباب بن زارح از بصره سلطنت کرد.
34And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
34و یوباب مرد، و در جایش حوشام از زمین تیمانی پادشاهی کرد.
35And Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Avith.
35وحوشام مرد، و در جایش هداد بن بداد، که درصحرای موآب، مدیان را شکست داد، پادشاهی کرد، و نام شهر او عویت بود.
36And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
36و هداد مرد، و درجایش سمله از مسریقه پادشاهی نمود.
37And Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the River reigned in his stead.
37وسمله مرد، و شاول از رحوبوت نهر در جایش پادشاهی کرد.
38And Shaul died, and Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
38و شاول مرد، و در جایش بعل حانان بن عکبور سلطنت کرد.
39And Baal-hanan the son of Achbor died, and Hadar reigned in his stead; and the name of the city was Pau; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-zahab.
39و بعل حانان بن عکبور مرد، و در جایش، هدار پادشاهی کرد. ونام شهرش فاعو بود، و زنش مسمی به مهیطبئیل دختر مطرد، دختر می‌ذاهب بود.
40And these are the names of the chiefs that came of Esau, according to their families, after their places, by their names: the chief of Timna, the chief of Alvah, the chief of Jetheth;
40و اینست نامهای امرای عیسو، حسب قبائل ایشان و اماکن و نامهای ایشان: امیر تمناع وامیر علوه و امیر یتیت،
41the chief of Oholibamah, the chief of Elah, the chief of Pinon;
41و امیر اهولیبامه و امیرایله و امیر فینون،
42the chief of Kenaz, the chief of Teman, the chief of Mibzar;
42و امیر قناز و امیرتیمان و امیرمبصار،
43the chief of Magdiel, the chief of Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom, according to their habitations in the land of their possession. This is Esau the father of the Edomites.
43و امیر مجدیئیل و امیر عیرام. اینان امرای ادومند، حسب مساکن ایشان در زمین ملک ایشان. همان عیسو پدر ادوم است.
