1This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made He him;
1これはアダムの系図の書である。神が人を創造された日、神は人を神に似せて造られた。
2male and female created He them, and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
2神は彼らを男と女に創造し、彼らを祝福された。彼らが創造された日、神は彼らを人と名付けられた。
3And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth.
3アダムは百三十年生きて、彼自身に似た、彼のかたちどおりの男の子の父となり、その子をセツと名付けた。
4And the days of Adam after he begot Seth were eight hundred years; and he begot sons and daughters.
4セツの父となって後、アダムは八百年生き、ほかにも息子や娘たちをもうけた。
5And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died.
5こうして、アダムの全生涯は九百三十年であった。そして彼は死んだ。
6And Seth lived a hundred and five years, and begot Enosh.
6セツは百五年生きて、エノスの父となった。
7And Seth lived after he begot Enosh eight hundred and seven years, and begot sons and daughters.
7エノスの父となって後、セツは八百七年生き、ほかにも息子や娘たちをもうけた。
8And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years; and he died.
8こうして、セツの全生涯は九百十二年であった。そして彼は死んだ。
9And Enosh lived ninety years, and begot Kenan.
9エノスは九十年生きて、ケナンの父となった。
10And Enosh lived after he begot Kenan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begot sons and daughters.
10ケナンの父となって後、エノスは八百十五年生き、ほかにも息子や娘たちをもうけた。
11And all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years; and he died.
11こうして、エノスの全生涯は九百五年であった。そして彼は死んだ。
12And Kenan lived seventy years, and begot Mahalalel.
12ケナンは七十年生きて、マハラレルの父となった。
13And Kenan lived after he begot Mahalalel eight hundred and forty years, and begot sons and daughters.
13マハラレルの父となって後、ケナンは八百四十年生き、ほかにも息子や娘たちをもうけた。
14And all the days of Kenan were nine hundred and ten years; and he died.
14こうして、ケナンの全生涯は九百十年であった。そして彼は死んだ。
15And Mahalalel lived sixty and five years, and begot Jared.
15マハラレルは六十五年生きて、ヤレドの父となった。
16And Mahalalel lived after he begot Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begot sons and daughters.
16ヤレドの父となって後、マハラレルは八百三十年生き、ほかにも息子や娘たちをもうけた。
17And all the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred ninety and five years; and he died.
17こうして、マハラレルの全生涯は八百九十五年であった。そして彼は死んだ。
18And Jared lived a hundred sixty and two years, and begot Enoch.
18ヤレドは百六十二年生きて、エノクの父となった。
19And Jared lived after he begot Enoch eight hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.
19エノクの父となって後、ヤレドは八百年生き、ほかにも息子や娘たちをもうけた。
20And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years; and he died.
20こうして、ヤレドの全生涯は九百六十二年であった。そして彼は死んだ。
21And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begot Methuselah.
21エノクは六十五年生きて、メトセラの父となった。
22And Enoch walked with God after he begot Methuselah three hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.
22メトセラの父となって後、エノクは三百年、神と共に歩み、ほかにも息子や娘たちをもうけた。
23And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years.
23こうして、エノクの全生涯は三百六十五年であった。
24And Enoch walked with God, and he was not; for God took him.
24エノクは神と共に歩んだ。そして、いなくなった。神が彼を取られたのである。
25And Methuselah lived a hundred eighty and seven years, and begot Lamech.
25メトセラは百八十七年生きて、レメクの父となった。
26And Methuselah lived after he begot Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begot sons and daughters.
26レメクの父となって後、メトセラは七百八十二年生き、ほかにも息子や娘たちをもうけた。
27And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years; and he died.
27こうして、メトセラの全生涯は九百六十九年であった。そして彼は死んだ。
28And Lamech lived a hundred eighty and two years, and begot a son.
28レメクは百八十二年生きて、一人の男の子の父となった。
29And he called his name Noah, saying: 'This same shall comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, which cometh from the ground which the LORD hath cursed.'
29彼はその子をノアと名付けて言った。「主が呪われた地のゆえに、私たちの仕事と手の労苦について、この子が私たちを慰めてくれるだろう。」
30And Lamech lived after he begot Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begot sons and daughters.
30ノアの父となって後、レメクは五百九十五年生き、ほかにも息子や娘たちをもうけた。
31And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years; and he died.
31こうして、レメクの全生涯は七百七十七年であった。そして彼は死んだ。
32And Noah was five hundred years old; and Noah begot Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
32ノアは五百歳になり、セム、ハム、ヤペテの父となった。
