1Се ж постань синів Ноягових, Сема, Хама та Яфета, і понароджувались їм сини по потопі.
1Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.
2Сини Яфетові: Гомер та Магог, та Мадай, та Яван да Тубал, та Месех, да Тирас.
2The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
3А сини Гомерові: Аскеназ та Рифат та Тогарма.
3And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
4А сини Яванові: Елиса, да Тарсис, Киттим та Доданим.
4And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
5Від сих розселились люде в країнах невірних, по землях своїх, по мовах своїх, по родинах своїх, по племенах своїх.
5By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.
6А сини Хамові: Куш та Мизраїм, да Фут, да Канаан.
6¶ And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.
7А сини Кушові: Себа та Гавила, да Сабта, да Рахма, да Сабтека; а сини Рахмові: Шеба та Дедан.
7And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.
8І появив Куш Нимрода. Сей почав бути велетнем на землї.
8And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
9Сей був велетень ловець перед Господом; тим і мовляли: як Нимрод, велетень ловець перед Господом.
9He was a mighty hunter before the LORD : wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD .
10Царюваннє ж його роспростерлось на Бабилон, і Ерех, і Аккад, і Калне у Синеяр землї.
10And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
11Із тієї землї вийшов Ассур, та й збудовав Ниневу і Регобод-Ір, і Калаг,
11Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah,
12І Резен між Ниневою і Калагом; було то місто велике.
12And Resen between Nineveh and Calah: the same is a great city.
13Від Мизраїма родились Людій, Анамій, Легавій і Нафтухій,
13And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
14І Патрусїй, Каслугій, від котрих пійшли Филистимцї, да Кафторій.
14And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (out of whom came Philistim,) and Caphtorim.
15Від Канаана ж родились Зидон, його перворідень, та Хет,
15¶ And Canaan begat Sidon his firstborn, and Heth,
16Євусій, та Аморій, та Гергасїй,
16And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite,
17Та Гевій, да Аркей, да Синей,
17And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
18Та Арвадїй, та Земарій, да Гаматїй; а потім розродились родини Канаанські.
18And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad.
19А займище Кананеїв сягало від Сидону до Герару, до Гази, до Содому і Гоморри й Адами й Зевоіму аж до Лаши.
19And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.
20Се сини Хамові по їх родинах, і мовах, і землях, і племіннях.
20These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.
21І Семові, праотцеві всїх дїтей Еберових, братові Яфетовому старшому, понароджувались сини.
21¶ Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.
22Сини Семові: Елам, та Ассур, та Арфаксад, та Люд, та й Арам.
22The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.
23А сини Арамові: Уз да Хул, да Гетер, да Маш.
23And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.
24Арфаксад же появив Салу, а Сала появив Ебера.
24And Arphaxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber.
25А Еберові вроджено два сини; одного звали Фалек, бо за його життя земля була подїлена, а брата його на імя звали Йоктан.
25And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.
26А Йоктан появив Алмодада та Шалефа, та Газармавета да Єраха,
26And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
27Та Гадорама, та Узала, та Диклу,
27And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
28Та Обаля, та Абимавеля, та Шеву,
28And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
29Та Офира, та Гавилу, та Йовава. Всї ʼці сини Йоктанові.
29And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan.
30А поосїдали вони від Мешари до Сефари гори, що на схід сонця.
30And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest unto Sephar a mount of the east.
31Се сини Семові по їх родинах, мовах, по їх займищах, по їх народовинах.
31These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.
32Се роди синів Ноягових по їх свояцтвах, по їх племіннях; і від них порозходились народи по землї після потопу.
32These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.
