1И одвоји Давид с војводама за службу синове Асафове и Еманове и Једутунове, који ће пророковати уз гусле и псалтире и кимвале; и бише између њих избројани људи за посао у својој служби:
1Moreover David and the chief. officers of the army separated for the ministry the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Idithun: to prophesy with harps, and with psalteries, and with cymbals according to their number serving in their appointed office.
2Од синова Асафових: Захур и Јосиф и Нетанија и Асарила, синови Асафови, под руком Асафа, који пророковаше по наредби царевој;
2Of the sons of Asaph: Zacchur, and Joseph, and Nathania, and Asarela, sons of Asaph: under the hand of Asaph prophesying near the king.
3од Једутуна: шест синова Једутунових: Гедалија и Сорије и Јесаија, Асавија и Мататија и Симеј под руком оца свог Једутуна, који пророковаше уз гусле хвалећи и славећи Господа;
3And of Idithun: the sons of Idithun, Godolias, Serf, Jeseias, and Hasabias, and Mathathias, six, under the hand of their father Idithun, who prophesied with a harp to give thanks and to praise the Lord.
4од Емана: синови Еманови: Вукија, Матанија, Озило, Севуило и Јеримот, Ананија и Ананије, Елијата, Гидалтија и Ромамти-Езер, Јосвекаса, Малотије, Отир и Мазиот.
4Of Heman also: the sons of Heman, Bocciau, Mathaniau, Oziel, Subuel, and Jerimoth, Hananias, Hanani, Eliatha, Geddelthi, and Romemthiezer, and Jesbacassa, Mellothi, Othir, Mahazioth:
5Ти сви беху синови Емана видеоца царевог у речима Божијим да се узвишује рог; јер Бог даде Еману четрнаест синова и три кћери.
5All these were the sons of Heman the seer of the king in the words of God, to lift up the horn: and God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
6Сви они беху под руком оца свог певајући у дому Господњем уз кимвале и псалтире и гусле, за службу у дому Божијем, како цар наређиваше Асафу и Једутуну и Еману.
6All these under their father’s hand were distributed to sing in the temple of the Lord, with cymbals, and psalteries and harps, for the service of the house of the Lord near the king: to wit, Asaph, and Idithun, and Heman.
7И беше их на број с браћом њиховом обученом песмама Господњим, двеста и осамдесет и осам, самих вештака.
7And the number of them with their brethren, that taught the song of the Lord, all the teachers, were two hundred and eighty-eight,
8И бацише жреб за службу своју, мали као велики, учитељ као ученик.
8And they cast lots by their courses, the elder equally with the younger, the learned and the unlearned together.
9И паде први жреб за Асафа на Јосифа, други на Гедалију с браћом и синовима његовим, њих дванаест;
9And the first lot came forth to Joseph, who was of Asaph. The second to Godolias, to him and his sons, and his brethren twelve.
10трећи на Захура, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;
10The third to Zachur, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
11четврти на Исерија, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;
11The fourth to Isari, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
12пети на Нетанију, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;
12The fifth to Nathania, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
13шести на Вукију, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;
13The sixth to Bocciau, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
14седми на Јесарилу, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;
14The seventh to Isreela, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
15осми на Јесаију, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;
15The eighth to Jesaia, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
16девети на Матанију, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;
16The ninth to Mathanaias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
17десети на Симеја, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;
17The tenth to Semeias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
18једанаести на Азареила, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;
18The eleventh to Azareel, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
19дванаести на Асавију, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;
19The twelfth to Hasabia, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
20тринаести на Савуила, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;
20The thirteenth to Subael, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
21четрнаести на Мататију, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;
21The fourteenth to Mathathias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
22петнаести на Јеремота, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;
22The fifteenth to Jerimoth, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
23шеснаести на Ананију, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;
23The sixteenth to Hananias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
24седамнаести на Јосвекасу, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;
24The seventeenth to Jesbacassa, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
25осамнаести на Ананија, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;
25The eighteenth to Hanani, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
26деветнаести на Малотија, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;
26The nineteenth to Mellothi, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
27двадесети на Елијату, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;
27The twentieth to Eliatha, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
28двадесет први на Отира, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;
28The one and twentieth to Othir, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
29двадесет други на Гидалтију, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;
29The two and twentieth to Geddelthi, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
30двадесет трећи на Мазиота, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;
30The three and twentieth to Mahazioth, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
