1Καὶ ἔστησε Δαυεὶδ ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες τῆς δυνάμεως εἰς τὰ ἔργα τοὺς υἱοὺς Ἀσὰφ, καὶ Αἰμὰν, καὶ Ἰδιθοὺν, τοὺς ἀποφεγγομένους ἐν κινύραις, καὶ ἐν νάβλαις, καὶ ἐν κυμβάλοις· καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ ἀριθμὸς αὐτῶν κατὰ κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν ἐργαζομένων ἐν τοῖς ἔργοις αὐτῶν.
1Moreover David and the chief. officers of the army separated for the ministry the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Idithun: to prophesy with harps, and with psalteries, and with cymbals according to their number serving in their appointed office.
2Υἱοὶ Ἀσάφ, Σακχοὺρ, Ἰωσὴφ, καὶ Ναθαυίας, καὶ Ἐραήλ· υἱοὶ Ἀσὰφ ἐχόμενοι τοῦ βασιλέως.
2Of the sons of Asaph: Zacchur, and Joseph, and Nathania, and Asarela, sons of Asaph: under the hand of Asaph prophesying near the king.
3Τῷ Ἰδιθοὺν, υἱοὶ Ἰδιθοὺν, Τοδολίας, καὶ Σουρὶ, καὶ Ἰσέας, καὶ Ἀσαβίας, καὶ Ματθαθίας, ἕξ μετὰ τὸν πατέρα αὐτῶν Ἰδιθὺν, ἐν κινύρᾳ ἀνακρουόμενοι ἐξομολόγησιν καὶ αἴνεσιν τῷ κυρίῳ.
3And of Idithun: the sons of Idithun, Godolias, Serf, Jeseias, and Hasabias, and Mathathias, six, under the hand of their father Idithun, who prophesied with a harp to give thanks and to praise the Lord.
4Τῷ Αἰμὰν, υἱοὶ Αἰμὰν, Βουκίας, καὶ Ματθανίας, καὶ Ὀζιὴλ, καὶ Σουβαὴλ, καὶ Ἰεριμὼθ, καὶ Ἀνανίας, καὶ Ἀνὰν, καὶ Ἑλιαθὰ, καὶ Γοδολλαθὶ, καὶ Ῥωμετθιέζερ, καὶ Ἰεσβασακὰ, καὶ Μαλλιθὶ, καὶ Ὠθηρὶ, καὶ Μεαζώθ.
4Of Heman also: the sons of Heman, Bocciau, Mathaniau, Oziel, Subuel, and Jerimoth, Hananias, Hanani, Eliatha, Geddelthi, and Romemthiezer, and Jesbacassa, Mellothi, Othir, Mahazioth:
5Πάντες οὗτοι υἱοὶ τῷ Αἰμὰν τῷ ἀνακρουομένῳ τῷ βασιλεῖ ἐν λόγοις Θεοῦ, ὑψῶσαι κέρας· καὶ ἔδωκεν ὁ Θεὸς τῷ Αἰμὰν υἱοὺς τεσσαρεσκαίδεκα, καὶ θυγατέρας τρεῖς.
5All these were the sons of Heman the seer of the king in the words of God, to lift up the horn: and God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
6Πάντες οὗτοι μετὰ τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῶν ὑμνῳδοῦντες ἐν οἴκῳ Θεοῦ, ἐν κυμβάλοις, καὶ ἐν νάβλαις, καὶ ἐν κινύραις εἰς τὴν δουλείαν οἴκου τοῦ Θεοῦ, ἐχόμενα τοῦ βασιλέως, καὶ Ἀσὰφ, καὶ Ἰδιθοὺν, καὶ Αἱμάν.
6All these under their father’s hand were distributed to sing in the temple of the Lord, with cymbals, and psalteries and harps, for the service of the house of the Lord near the king: to wit, Asaph, and Idithun, and Heman.
7Καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ ἀριθμὸς αὐτῶν μετὰ τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτῶν δεδιδαγμένοι ᾄδειν Κυρίῳ πᾶς συνιὼν, διακόσιοι ὀγδοήκοντα καὶ ὀκτώ.
7And the number of them with their brethren, that taught the song of the Lord, all the teachers, were two hundred and eighty-eight,
8Καὶ ἔβαλον καὶ αὐτοὶ κλήρους ἐφημεριῶν κατὰ τὸν μικρὸν καὶ κατὰ τὸν μέγαν τελείων καὶ μανθανόντων.
8And they cast lots by their courses, the elder equally with the younger, the learned and the unlearned together.
9Καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ὁ κλῆρος ὁ πρῶτος υἱῶν αὑτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφῶν αὐτοῦ τῷ Ἀσὰφ τοῦ Ἰωσὴφ, Γοδολίας· ὁ δεύτερος Ἡνεία, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο·
9And the first lot came forth to Joseph, who was of Asaph. The second to Godolias, to him and his sons, and his brethren twelve.
10Ὁ τρίτος Ζακχοὺρ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο·
10The third to Zachur, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
11Ὁ τέταρτος Ἰεσρὶ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο·
11The fourth to Isari, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
12Ὁ πέμπτος Νάθαν, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο·
12The fifth to Nathania, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
13Ὁ ἕκτος Βουκίας, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο·
13The sixth to Bocciau, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
14Ὁ ἕβδομος Ἰσεριὴλ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο·
14The seventh to Isreela, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
15Ὁ ὄγδοος Ἰωσία, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο·
15The eighth to Jesaia, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
16Ὁ ἔννατος Ματθανίας, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο·
16The ninth to Mathanaias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
17Ὁ δέκατος Σεμεΐα, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο·
17The tenth to Semeias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
18Ὁ ἑνδέκατος Ἀσριὴλ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο·
18The eleventh to Azareel, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

22The fifteenth to Jerimoth, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
23Ὁ ἑκκαιδέκατος Ἁνανίας, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο·
23The sixteenth to Hananias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
24Ὁ ἑπτακαιδέκατος Ἰεσβασακὰ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο·

27Ὁ εἰκοστὸς Ἑλιαθὰ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο·
27The twentieth to Eliatha, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
28Ὁ εἰκοστὸς πρῶτος Ὠθηρὶ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο·
28The one and twentieth to Othir, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
29Ὁ εἰκοστὸς δεύτερος Γοδολλαθὶ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο·
29The two and twentieth to Geddelthi, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
