1外邦為甚麼爭鬧？ 萬民為甚麼謀算虛妄的事？
1Why are the nations in an uproar? And why do the peoples mutter in vain?
2世上的君王一齊起來， 臣宰一同商議， 要敵擋耶和華並他的受膏者，
2The kings of the earth stand up, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against His anointed:
3說：我們要掙開他們的捆綁， 脫去他們的繩索。
3'Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.'
4那坐在天上的必發笑； 主必嗤笑他們。
4He that sitteth in heaven laugheth, the Lord hath them in derision.
5那時，他要在怒中責備他們， 在烈怒中驚嚇他們，
5Then will He speak unto them in His wrath, and affright them in His sore displeasure:
6說：我已經立我的君 在 錫安 －我的聖山上了。
6'Truly it is I that have established My king upon Zion, My holy mountain.'
7受膏者說 ：我要傳 聖 旨。 耶和華曾對我說：你是我的兒子， 我今日生你。
7I will tell of the decree: the LORD said unto me: 'Thou art My son, this day have I begotten thee.
8你求我，我就將列國賜你為基業， 將地極賜你為田產。
8Ask of Me, and I will give the nations for thine inheritance, and the ends of the earth for thy possession.
9你必用鐵杖打破他們； 你必將他們如同窯匠的瓦器摔碎。
9Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.'
10現在，你們君王應當省悟！ 你們世上的審判官該受管教！
10Now therefore, O ye kings, be wise; be admonished, ye judges of the earth.
11當存畏懼事奉耶和華， 又當存戰兢而快樂。
11Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12當以嘴親子，恐怕他發怒， 你們便在道中滅亡， 因為他的怒氣快要發作。 凡投靠他的，都是有福的。
12Do homage in purity, lest He be angry, and ye perish in the way, when suddenly His wrath is kindled. Happy are all they that take refuge in Him.
