1上帝啊，求你不要靜默！ 上帝啊，求你不要閉口，也不要不作聲！
1(83-1) A Song, a Psalm of Asaph. (83-2) O God, keep not Thou silence; hold not Thy peace, and be not still, O God.
2因為你的仇敵喧嚷， 恨你的抬起頭來。
2(83-3) For, lo, Thine enemies are in an uproar; and they that hate Thee have lifted up the head.
3他們同謀奸詐要害你的百姓， 彼此商議要害你所隱藏的人。
3(83-4) They hold crafty converse against Thy people, and take counsel against Thy treasured ones.
4他們說：來吧，我們將他們剪滅， 使他們不再成國！ 使 以色列 的名不再被人記念！
4(83-5) They have said: 'Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.'
5他們同心商議， 彼此結盟，要抵擋你，
5(83-6) For they have consulted together with one consent; against Thee do they make a covenant;
6就是住帳棚的 以東 人和 以實瑪利 人， 摩押 和 夏甲 人，
6(83-7) The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab, and the Hagrites;
7迦巴勒 、 亞捫 ， 和 亞瑪力 、 非利士 並 泰爾 的居民。
7(83-8) Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8亞述 也與他們連合； 他們作 羅得 子孫的幫手。 （細拉）
8(83-9) Assyria also is joined with them; they have been an arm to the children of Lot. Selah
9求你待他們，如待 米甸 ， 如在 基順河 待 西西拉 和 耶賓 一樣。
9(83-10) Do Thou unto them as unto Midian; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook Kishon;
10他們在 隱‧多珥 滅亡， 成了地上的糞土。
10(83-11) Who were destroyed at En-dor; they became as dung for the earth.
11求你叫他們的首領像 俄立 和 西伊伯 ， 叫他們的王子都像 西巴 和 撒慕拿 。
11(83-12) Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, and like Zebah and Zalmunna all their princes;
12他們說：我們要得上帝的住處， 作為自己的產業。
12(83-13) Who said: 'Let us take to ourselves in possession the habitations of God.'
13我的上帝啊，求你叫他們像旋風的塵土， 像風前的碎稭。
13(83-14) O my God, make them like the whirling dust; as stubble before the wind.
14火怎樣焚燒樹林， 火焰怎樣燒着山嶺，
14(83-15) As the fire that burneth the forest, and as the flame that setteth the mountains ablaze;
15求你也照樣用狂風追趕他們， 用暴雨恐嚇他們。
15(83-16) So pursue them with Thy tempest, and affright them with Thy storm.
16願你使他們滿面羞恥， 好叫他們尋求你－耶和華的名！
16(83-17) Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek Thy name, O LORD.
17願他們永遠羞愧驚惶！ 願他們慚愧滅亡！
17(83-18) Let them be ashamed and affrighted for ever; yea, let them be abashed and perish;
18使他們知道：惟獨你－ 名為耶和華的－是全地以上的至高者！
18(83-19) That they may know that it is Thou alone whose name is the LORD, the Most High over all the earth.
