1上帝啊，求你按你的慈愛憐恤我！ 按你豐盛的慈悲塗抹我的過犯！
1(51-1) For the Leader. A Psalm of David; (51-2) When Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bath-sheba. (51-3) Be gracious unto me, O God, according to Thy mercy; according to the multitude of Thy compassions blot out my transgressions.
2求你將我的罪孽洗除淨盡， 並潔除我的罪！
2(51-4) Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
3因為，我知道我的過犯； 我的罪常在我面前。
3(51-5) For I know my transgressions; and my sin is ever before me.
4我向你犯罪，惟獨得罪了你； 在你眼前行了這惡， 以致你責備我的時候顯為公義， 判斷我的時候顯為清正。
4(51-6) Against Thee, Thee only, have I sinned, and done that which is evil in Thy sight; that Thou mayest be justified when Thou speakest, and be in the right when Thou judgest.
5我是在罪孽裏生的， 在我母親懷胎的時候就有了罪。
5(51-7) Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.
6你所喜愛的是內裏誠實； 你在我隱密處，必使我得智慧。
6(51-8) Behold, Thou desirest truth in the inward parts; make me, therefore, to know wisdom in mine inmost heart.
7求你用牛膝草潔淨我，我就乾淨； 求你洗滌我，我就比雪更白。
7(51-9) Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8求你使我得聽歡喜快樂 的聲音 ， 使你所壓傷的骨頭可以踴躍。
8(51-10) Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which Thou hast crushed may rejoice.
9求你掩面不看我的罪， 塗抹我一切的罪孽。
9(51-11) Hide Thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10上帝啊，求你為我造清潔的心， 使我裏面重新有正直的靈。
10(51-12) Create me a clean heart, O God; and renew a stedfast spirit within me.
11不要丟棄我，使我離開你的面； 不要從我收回你的聖靈。
11(51-13) Cast me not away from Thy presence; and take not Thy holy spirit from me.
12求你使我仍得救恩之樂， 賜我樂意的靈扶持我，
12(51-14) Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation; and let a willing spirit uphold me.
13我就把你的道指教有過犯的人， 罪人必歸順你。
13(51-15) Then will I teach transgressors Thy ways; and sinners shall return unto Thee.
14上帝啊，你是拯救我的上帝； 求你救我脫離流人血的罪！ 我的舌頭就高聲歌唱你的公義。
14(51-16) Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, Thou God of my salvation; so shall my tongue sing aloud of Thy righteousness.
15主啊，求你使我嘴唇張開， 我的口便傳揚讚美你的話！
15(51-17) O Lord, open Thou my lips; and my mouth shall declare Thy praise.
16你本不喜愛祭物，若喜愛，我就獻上； 燔祭，你也不喜悅。
16(51-18) For Thou delightest not in sacrifice, else would I give it; Thou hast no pleasure in burnt-offering.
17上帝所要 的祭就是憂傷的靈； 上帝啊，憂傷痛悔的心，你必不輕看。
17(51-19) The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, Thou wilt not despise.
18求你隨你的美意善待 錫安 ， 建造 耶路撒冷 的城牆。
18(51-20) Do good in Thy favour unto Zion; build Thou the walls of Jerusalem.
19那時，你必喜愛公義的祭 和燔祭並全牲的燔祭； 那時，人必將公牛獻在你壇上。
19(51-21) Then wilt Thou delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, in burnt-offering and whole offering; then will they offer bullocks upon Thine altar.
