1眷顧貧窮的有福了！ 他遭難的日子，耶和華必搭救他。
1(41-1) For the Leader. A Psalm of David. (41-2) Happy is he that considereth the poor; the LORD will deliver him in the day of evil.
2耶和華必保全他，使他存活； 他必在地上享福。 求你不要把他交給仇敵，遂其所願。
2(41-3) The LORD preserve him, and keep him alive, let him be called happy in the land; and deliver not Thou him unto the greed of his enemies.
3他病重在榻，耶和華必扶持他； 他在病中，你必給他鋪床。
3(41-4) The LORD support him upon the bed of illness; mayest Thou turn all his lying down in his sickness.
4我曾說：耶和華啊，求你憐恤我，醫治我！ 因為我得罪了你。
4(41-5) As for me, I said: 'O LORD, be gracious unto me; heal my soul; for I have sinned against Thee.'
5我的仇敵用惡言議論我 說 ： 他幾時死，他的名才滅亡呢？
5(41-6) Mine enemies speak evil of me: 'When shall he die, and his name perish?'
6他來看 我 就說假話； 他心存奸惡，走到外邊才說出來。
6(41-7) And if one come to see me, he speaketh falsehood; his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he speaketh of it.
7一切恨我的，都交頭接耳地議論我； 他們設計要害我。
7(41-8) All that hate me whisper together against me, against me do they devise my hurt:
8他們說 ：有怪病貼在他身上； 他已躺臥，必不能再起來。
8(41-9) 'An evil thing cleaveth fast unto him; and now that he lieth, he shall rise up no more.'
9連我知己的朋友， 我所倚靠、吃過我飯的也用腳踢我。
9(41-10) Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, who did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
10耶和華啊，求你憐恤我， 使我起來，好報復他們！
10(41-11) But Thou, O LORD, be gracious unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.
11因我的仇敵不得向我誇勝， 我從此便知道你喜愛我。
11(41-12) By this I know that Thou delightest in me, that mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
12你因我純正就扶持我， 使我永遠站在你的面前。
12(41-13) And as for me, Thou upholdest me because of mine integrity, and settest me before Thy face for ever.
13耶和華－ 以色列 的上帝是應當稱頌的， 從亙古直到永遠。阿們！阿們！
13(41-14) Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.
