Kadede Kap (Pohnpeian New Testament and Psalms)
1Hallelujah! Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His loving devotion endures forever.
1KAPI N A Ieowa, pwe i me mau, pwe a kala n an pan potopot
2Who can describe the mighty acts of the LORD or fully proclaim His praise?
2Ij me kak inda duen dodok manaman en Ieowa, o ij me kak kapina japwilim a dodok kajapwal?
3Blessed are those who uphold justice, who practice righteousness at all times.
3Meid pai, me kolekol me pu n , o me kin wiada me pu n anjau karoj!
4Remember me, O LORD, in Your favor to Your people; visit me with Your salvation,
4Mai n Ieowa, kom kotin taman ia da duen ar kala n an, me kom kotin inauki o n japwilim omui aramaj akan, kajanjanle do n kit omui jauaj!
5that I may see the prosperity of Your chosen ones, and rejoice in the gladness of Your nation, and give glory with Your inheritance.
5Pwe i en kila n pai en japwilim omui pilipildar akan o peren kidar peren en japwilim omui aramaj akan, o kapi n a ia n omui jojo.
6We have sinned like our fathers; we have done wrong and acted wickedly.
6Kit ia n jam at oko wiadar dip, je wiadar japu n , je kawelar kujoned o kapwaiada tiak en me pu n kan.
7Our fathers in Egypt did not grasp Your wonders or remember Your abundant kindness; but they rebelled by the sea, there at the Red Sea.
7Jam at akan nan Akipten jota injenoki japwilim omui manaman akan, pwe re jota tamanda omui kala n an lapalap, o re katiwo o n me lapalap o ni kailan madau ni jed waitata.
8Yet He saved them for the sake of His name, to make His power known.
8Ari jo, a kotin dore ir ala pweki mar a, pwen kajaleda a manaman.
9He rebuked the Red Sea, and it dried up; He led them through the depths as through a desert.
9A kotin majani o n jed waitata, ap n ala n aledier; o a kotin kalua irail waja lol dueta jap tan eu.
10He saved them from the hand that hated them; He redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
10Iduen a kotin dore ir ala ja n nan pa en me kailo n kin ir, o a kotin jauja ir jan nan pa en imwintiti.
11The waters covered their foes; not one of them remained.
11Pil kadupaledi arail imwintiti kan, jota amen pitila.
12Then they believed His promises and sang His praise.
12Irail ap kamelele a majan akan, o kaul en kapi n o n i.
13Yet they soon forgot His works and failed to wait for His counsel.
13A re pil mada n monokelar a wiawia kan, o re jota auiaui a majan.
14They craved intensely in the wilderness and tested God in the desert.
14Irail dire kila ino n jued, ap kajo n ejo n . Kot nan jap tan,
15So He granted their request, but sent a wasting disease upon them.
15Ap kotin mueid o n injen arail, o kotiki o n ir, lol ar lao juedala.
16In the camp they envied Moses, as well as Aaron, the holy one of the LORD.
16Re ap ka n udi o n Mojej nan deu ’rail, o n Aron me jaraui en Ieowa men.
17The earth opened up and swallowed Dathan; it covered the assembly of Abiram.
17Jap ap jar paja n katalala Datan, o pur pena n pon pwin en Apiram.
18Then fire blazed through their company; flames consumed the wicked.
18O kijiniai eu kamajikada nan pu n en arail pwin, umpul en kijiniai eu karo n alar me doo ja n Kot akan.
19At Horeb they made a calf and worshiped a molten image.
19Re wiadar kau pul amen ni Orep, o dairukedi ja n mon kilel kold eu.
20They exchanged their Glory for the image of a grass-eating ox.
20O re kawilianeki arail li n an kilel en kau ol amen, me kin ka n ka n ra.
21They forgot God their Savior, who did great things in Egypt,
21Re monokelar Kot, arail jaunkamaur, me kotin wiadar dodok lapalap nan Akipten.
22wondrous works in the land of Ham, and awesome deeds by the Red Sea.
22O manaman akan nan jap en Am, o men kamajak ni jed waitata.
23So He said He would destroy them— had not Moses His chosen one stood before Him in the breach to divert His wrath from destroying them.
23I ap kotin kupukupura, me a pan kame ir ala, ma Mojej japwilim a pilipildar amen jota pan pukoki dip arail, pwen kotiki wei ja n japwilim a o n io n , pwe ren der mela.
24They despised the pleasant land; they did not believe His promise.
24A re mamaleki jap kajelel, o jota kamelele a majan kan.
25They grumbled in their tents and did not listen to the voice of the LORD.
25O re lipaned nan im arail, o jota peiki on majan en Ieowa.
26So He raised His hand and swore to cast them down in the wilderness,
26I ap kotin kaula o n ir, me a pan kame ir ala nan jap tan.
27to disperse their offspring among the nations and scatter them throughout the lands.
27O kadaudok ar en wowokidi nan pu n en men liki kan, o kamueit ir pajan nan jap akan.
28They yoked themselves to Baal of Peor and ate sacrifices offered to lifeless gods.
28O re wuki o n PalPeor, o ka n ala kijan mairo n en ani mal.
29So they provoked the LORD to anger with their deeds, and a plague broke out among them.
29O re kupur jued kin i ar wiawia kan, kalokolok eu ap lel o n ir.
30But Phinehas stood and intervened, and the plague was restrained.
30Pineaj ap kotida, kadeik irail ada, kalokolok ap imwijokalar.
31It was credited to him as righteousness for endless generations to come.
31Mepukat me a wadekida ni pu n , ja n eu kainok lel eu kokolata.
32At the waters of Meribah they angered the LORD, and trouble came to Moses because of them.
32O re kupur juede kin i ni pil en Meripa, i me irail kareki o n Mojej apwal laud.
33For they rebelled against His Spirit, and Moses spoke rashly with his lips.
33Pwe re kapataui n en i, ap kotin japu n ala ekij ni a majan kan.
34They did not destroy the peoples as the LORD had commanded them,
34Re jota pil kanikiala wei kan, me Ieowa kotin majani o n ir.
35but they mingled with the nations and adopted their customs.
35O re dolola men liki kan, o padakki arail tiak kan.
36They worshiped their idols, which became a snare to them.
36O re kaudoki on arail dikedik en ani kan, rap wialar injar arail.
37They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons.
37O re mairo n ki o n tewil jued akan nairail putak o jeripein kan.
38They shed innocent blood— the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was polluted with blood.
38O re kamelar mal aramaj, iei udan nair putak o jeripein oko, me re mairo n ki o n ani mal en Kanaan, a jap o kajamin kila nta.
39They defiled themselves by their actions and prostituted themselves by their deeds.
39O re kajamine kila pein irail ar wia kan, o nenekki ar dodok jued.
40So the anger of the LORD burned against His people, and He abhorred His own inheritance.
40Ieowa ap kotin o n io n i o n japwilim a aramaj akan o kotin juedeki japwilim a jojo.
41He delivered them into the hand of the nations, and those who hated them ruled over them.
41A kotin mueid o n ir nan pa en men liki kan, o me kailo n kin ir, wialar ar kaun.
42Their enemies oppressed them, and subdued them under their hand.
42O ar imwintiti katoutoui ir, o re namenokalar pan pa ’rail
43Many times He rescued them, but they were bent on rebellion and sank down in their iniquity.
43A kotin dore ir ala pan pak toto, a re duedueta ni ar ino n jued o madamadaua, o re malaulau kilar ar japu n .
44Nevertheless He heard their cry; He took note of their distress.
44A a kotin irero n ar kan ka n era n er, ni a kotin ereki ai weriwer.
45And He remembered His covenant with them, and relented by the abundance of His loving devotion.
45O a kotin tamanda japwilim a inau, o a kotin kalukila duen a kala n an lapalap.
46He made them objects of compassion to all who held them captive.
46O a kotin maki o n ir mon karoj, me jali irail weier.
47Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from the nations, that we may give thanks to Your holy name, that we may glory in Your praise.
47Ieowa at Kot, kom kotin dore kit ala, ja n ren men liki kan, pwe kit en danke mar omul jaraui o japwilim ar dodok mau kan.
48Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Let all the people say, “Amen!” Hallelujah!
48Kapi n o n Ieowa, Kot en Ijrael, ja n maj kokodo o pil kokolata! 0 aramaj karoj en inda: Amen, Aleluia!
