Psalms 79

Berean Standard Bible
Kadede Kap (Pohnpeian New Testament and Psalms)
1The nations, O God, have invaded Your inheritance; they have defiled Your holy temple and reduced Jerusalem to rubble.
1MAI N Kot, men liki kan ta n do n japwilim omui jojo; irail kajamilela japwilim omui im jaraui, o re wiaki Ierujalem kantakai eu.
2They have given the corpses of Your servants as food to the birds of the air, the flesh of Your saints to the beasts of the earth.
2Re ki o n er manpir en pan la n akan kalep en japwilim omui ladu kan, o uduk en japwilim omui jaraui kan o n man en nan jap akan.
3They have poured out their blood like water all around Jerusalem, and there is no one to bury the dead.
3Impan Ierujalem irail wudo kila nt’ ar dueta pil, o jota, me pan jarepedi.
4We have become a reproach to our neighbors, a scorn and derision to those around us.
4Kit wialar kanamenok eu o n men imp at, o me kapil kit pena, kin lalaue o kaurur kin kit.
5How long, O LORD? Will You be angry forever? Will Your jealousy burn like fire?
5Mai n leowa, arai da kom pan kotin o n io n , o ino n en kupur omui pan lulada dueta kijiniai?
6Pour out Your wrath on the nations that do not acknowledge You, on the kingdoms that refuse to call on Your name,
6Kom kotin wudokidi o n men liki kan, me jaja komui, omui o n io n , o o n wei kan, me jota kin likwir o n mar omui.
7for they have devoured Jacob and devastated his homeland.
7Pwe re kawelar Iakop o im ar akan.
8Do not hold past sins against us; let Your compassion come quickly, for we are brought low.
8Kom der kotin tamanda dip en jam at akan; a kom kotin mada n jauaja kit, pwe kit me malaulaular.
9Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of Your name; deliver us and atone for our sins, for the sake of Your name.
9Mai n Kot, jauaj pat, kom kotin jauaja kit, pweki wau en mar omui. Kom kotin dore kit ala o kotin maki o n kit dip at akan, pweki mar omui!
10Why should the nations ask, “Where is their God?” Before our eyes, make known among the nations Your vengeance for the bloodshed of Your servants.
10Da me kom kotin mueid o n men liki kan en inda: Ari, ia arail Kot? Kom kotin kajale o n men liki kan depuk en ntan japwilim omui ladu kan, me wudokilar, en pil janjal mo at!
11May the groans of the captives reach You; by the strength of Your arm preserve those condemned to death.
11Kotin ma n i ja n ejan en me jalidi o; kom kotin kolekol kidi lim omui manaman me kileledier o n kamela.
12Pay back into the laps of our neighbors sevenfold the reproach they hurled at You, O Lord.
12Kom kotin depukki o n men imp at pan pak iju ar lalaue, me re lalaue kin komui.
13Then we Your people, the sheep of Your pasture, will thank You forever; from generation to generation we will declare Your praise.
13A kit, japwilim omui aramaj akan, o jip en japwilim omui moj, pan danke komui kokolata, kapakaparok duen omui li n an anjau karoj.
