Psalms 18

Berean Standard Bible
Kadede Kap (Pohnpeian New Testament and Psalms)
1I love You, O LORD, my strength.
1I KIN pok o n komui Mai n , ai kel.
2The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer. My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
2Ieowa ai paip, ai kel, ai jaundor, ai Kot, ai paipalap, me i kin liki, pere pa i, menkamaur pa i o jile pa i!
3I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.
3I kin n idi n id o n Ieowa, me kapi n en ko o n , o i pan dorela ja n ai imwintiti kan.
4The cords of death encompassed me; the torrents of chaos overwhelmed me.
4I lodi o n er jal en mela kan, o pilap en Pileam akan kamajak ia er.
5The cords of Sheol entangled me; the snares of death confronted me.
5Jal en wajan mela kol ia dier, o jal en mela kaloe ia dier.
6In my distress I called upon the LORD; I cried to my God for help. From His temple He heard my voice, and my cry for His help reached His ears.
6Ni ai majak i likwir o n Ieowa o weriwer o n ai Kot; I ap kotin ereki n il ai ja n nan tanpaj a, o ai likwir lel o n karo n a kan.
7Then the earth shook and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains trembled; they were shaken because He burned with anger.
7Jappa rerer o mokidedar, o pajon en nana kan ititekok o rerer, ni a kotin o n io n idar.
8Smoke rose from His nostrils, and consuming fire came from His mouth; glowing coals blazed forth.
8Atiniai koda ja n nan jila n i, o kijiniai kelail ja n nan au a, ap kareda liol.
9He parted the heavens and came down with dark clouds beneath His feet.
9O a kotikidier nanla n o kotidido, o rotorot impan aluwilu a kan.
10He mounted a cherub and flew; He soared on the wings of the wind.
10O a kotikot pon Kerup amen o kotin pirwei, o a kotin dake pa en a n .
11He made darkness His hiding place, and storm clouds a canopy around Him.
11Tanpaj a im pwal iei rotorot, o katau laud, o tapok rotorot, kapil pena i.
12From the brightness of His presence His clouds advanced— hailstones and coals of fire.
12Li n an me mi mo a, kamueit paja n tapok kan ian akel o liol.
13The LORD thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded— hailstones and coals of fire.
13O Ieowa kotin wiadar nanjapwe nanla n , o me Lapalapia kotin poronelar kapit i ia n akel o liol.
14He shot His arrows and scattered the foes; He hurled lightning and routed them.
14A kotin kajik wei japwilim a kana n en kajik katieu, o kotin kamueit irail paja n . A kotin wiadar liol toto o kamajak irail adar.
15The channels of the sea appeared, and the foundations of the world were exposed, at Your rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of Your nostrils.
15Al en pil akan ap janjaladar, o pajon en jappa weiweidar ki ar o n io n Mai n , mon a n en jila n omui.
16He reached down from on high and took hold of me; He drew me out of deep waters.
16A kotikidier lim a ja n nan waja ileile, a kotin kol ia di o kotin api ia dar ja n nan pil kalaimun akan.
17He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from foes too mighty for me.
17A kotin dore ia la ja n ai imwintiti kelail akan, ja n ir, me kailo n kin ia, ir me i jota itar o n .
18They confronted me in my day of calamity, but the LORD was my support.
18Irail kaloe ia dier ni ai ran apwal, a Ieowa kotin wialar jauaj pa i.
19He brought me out into the open; He rescued me because He delighted in me.
19O a kotin kalua ia wajan jaladok, a kotin kamaio ia da, aki a kotin kupukupura ia.
20The LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness; He has repaid me according to the cleanness of my hands.
20Ieowa kin kotin jauaja ia duen ai pu n , a kotin kati n i o n ia duen makelekel en pa i kan.
21For I have kept the ways of the LORD and have not wickedly departed from my God.
21Pwe i kin weweid nani al en Ieowa, o i jota kin katiwo o n ai Kot.
22For all His ordinances are before me; I have not disregarded His statutes.
22Pwe a majan akan mi mo i, o i jota pan kaje ja n ia a kujoned akan.
23And I have been blameless before Him and kept myself from iniquity.
23Pwe n ai unjokalar mon jila n i o juedeki ai japu n .
24So the LORD has repaid me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in His sight.
24O Ieowa kotin katini o n ia duen ai pu n , o duen makelekel en pa i kan mon jila n i.
25To the faithful You show Yourself faithful, to the blameless You show Yourself blameless;
25Komui me kala n an o n me mau kan, o lelapok o n me lelapok kan,
26to the pure You show Yourself pure, but to the crooked You show Yourself shrewd.
26O makelekel ren me makelekel akan, o japu n ren me japu n kan.
27For You save an afflicted people, but You humble those with haughty eyes.
27Pwe kom kin kotin dorela aramaj luet akan, ap kadukiedi maj en me aklapalap akan.
28For You, O LORD, light my lamp; my God lights up my darkness.
28Pwe kom kin kotin kamaraini ai lamp, Ieowa ai Kot kin kamaraini ai rotorot.
29For in You I can charge an army, and with my God I can scale a wall.
29Pwe ni ai ia n komui i kak kaloedi karij en jaunpei kan, o ni ai ia n ai Kot, i kak lujwei pon kel takai.
30As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.
30AI en Kot me unjokala; majan en Ieowa me makelekel. I pere pan karoj, me liki i.
31For who is God besides the LORD? And who is the Rock except our God?
31Pwe ia amen Kot impan Ieowa, de ia paip eu impan atail Kot?
32It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way clear.
32lei Kot, me kotin aude kin ia manaman, o kaunjokala al ai.
33He makes my feet like those of a deer and stations me upon the heights.

34He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

35You have given me Your shield of salvation; Your right hand upholds me, and Your gentleness exalts me.

37I pursued my enemies and overtook them; I did not turn back until they were consumed.

38I crushed them so they could not rise; they have fallen under my feet.
38I pan kamor irail paja n , re jota pan kak palian ia, o re pan pupedi o n pan na i kan.
39You have armed me with strength for battle; You have subdued my foes beneath me.
39Kom kak kamana kin ia omui manaman o n ni pei; Kom kak kajedi o n pan na i kan karoj me palian ia.
40You have made my enemies retreat before me; I put an end to those who hated me.
40Kom kin kotin kaloedi o n ia ai imwintiti kan, pwen kawela, me kailo n kin ia.
41They cried for help, but there was no one to save them— to the LORD, but He did not answer.
41Re kin likelikwir, a jota jauaj parail ren Ieowa, a jota kotin jape n ir.
42I ground them as dust in the face of the wind; I trampled them like mud in the streets.
42I pan juk irail paja n dueta pwel par nan kijinia n ; i pan kaje ir ala dueta pwel jamin ja n nani al o.
43You have delivered me from the strife of the people; You have made me the head of nations; a people I had not known shall serve me.
43Kom kin kotin dore ia ja n ren akamai en aramaj, o kom kotin kajapwil ia da n men liki kan; o wei eu me i jaja kin upa o n ia.
44When they hear me, they obey me; foreigners cower before me.
44Ni ar ro n er, re peiki o n ia er, o nain men wai kan peikio n ia ni li n kapi n .
45Foreigners lose heart and come trembling from their strongholds.
45Nain men wai kan poridier o rerer o pwarado ja n nan ar im kalaimun akan.
46The LORD lives, and blessed be my Rock! And may the God of my salvation be exalted—
46Ieowa kotin ieiaj; kapi n o n ai paipalap; o kapi n o n Kot ai jaundor.
47the God who avenges me and subdues nations beneath me,
47Kot me kotin depuk o n ai imwintiti kan, o a kotin kaloedi o n ia ai imwintiti kan;
48who delivers me from my enemies. You exalt me above my foes; You rescue me from violent men.
48Kom kotin dore ia la ja n ai imwintiti kan, o kom kotin kajapwil ia da n ir, me palian ia. Kom kin kotin jauaja ia o n me, morjued o n ia.
49Therefore I will praise You, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing praises to Your name.
49I me i men danke komui, Mai n Ieowa, nan pu n en men liki kan o kauleki duen mar Omui,
50Great salvation He brings to His king. He shows loving devotion to His anointed, to David and his descendants forever.
50Komui me kotin kamaurada melel japwilim a nanmarki o a kotin jauaja mau japwilim a Dawid keiedier o kadaudok a kokolata.
