1 John 1

Berean Standard Bible
Kadede Kap (Pohnpeian New Testament and Psalms)
1That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our own eyes, which we have gazed upon and touched with our own hands—this is the Word of life.
1ME kin mia jan ni tapi o, me je ronadar, me je kilan kier pein maj at, me je ududialer, o me pa at dokeer, iei majan en maur;
2And this is the life that was revealed; we have seen it and testified to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life that was with the Father and was revealed to us.
2O maur janjaledar, o je kilaner, o kadede, o padaki on komail maur joutuk, me kotikot ren Jam, a ap janjal don kitail.
3We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And this fellowship of ours is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.
3Me je kilaner, o roner, iei me je pil katitiki on komail, pwe komail en pil waroki on kit. A kitail waroki on Jam o Japwilim a Iejuj Krijtuj.
4We write these things so that our joy may be complete.
4Mepukat je intiniedi, pwe at peren en unjokala.
5And this is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you: God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
5A ietet padak, me je ron jan i, ap katitiki on komail: Kot marain eu, o jota man rotorot mi re a.
6If we say we have fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
6Ma kitail inda, me kitail waroki on i ap weweid ni rotorot, kitail kin likam, ap jota wia melel.
7But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
7A ma kitail weweid ni marain, dueta i me kotikot ni marain, kitail warok penaer, o ntan Iejuj Krijtuj japwilim a Ol kamakele kitail jan ni dip karoj.
8If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
8Ma kitail inda: Jota dip atail, kitail piti pein kitail, o melel jota mi re atail.
9If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
9A ma kitail weokada dip atail, i me melel o pun, en makeki on kitail dip atail o kamine jan me japun karoj.
10If we say we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar, and His word is not in us.
10Ma kitail inda: Kitail jota wiadar dip, kitail kalikame i, o a majan jota mi re atail.
