1(88-1) A Song, a Psalm of the sons of Korah; for the Leader; upon Mahalath Leannoth. Maschil of Heman the Ezrahite. (88-2) O LORD, God of my salvation, what time I cry in the night before Thee,
1耶和華－拯救我的上帝啊， 我晝夜在你面前呼籲。
2(88-3) Let my prayer come before Thee, incline Thine ear unto my cry.
2願我的禱告達到你面前； 求你側耳聽我的呼求！
3(88-4) For my soul is sated with troubles, and my life draweth nigh unto the grave.
3因為我心裏滿了患難； 我的性命臨近陰間。
4(88-5) I am counted with them that go down into the pit; I am become as a man that hath no help;
4我算和下坑的人同列， 如同無力的人一樣。
5(88-6) Set apart among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom Thou rememberest no more; and they are cut off from Thy hand.
5我被丟在死人中， 好像被殺的人躺在墳墓裏。 他們是你不再記念的， 與你隔絕了。
6(88-7) Thou hast laid me in the nethermost pit, in dark places, in the deeps.
6你把我放在極深的坑裏， 在黑暗地方，在深處。
7(88-8) Thy wrath lieth hard upon me, and all Thy waves Thou pressest down. Selah
7你的忿怒重壓我身； 你用一切的波浪困住我。 （細拉）
8(88-9) Thou hast put mine acquaintance far from me; Thou hast made me an abomination unto them; I am shut up, and I cannot come forth.
8你把我所認識的隔在遠處， 使我為他們所憎惡； 我被拘困，不得出來。
9(88-10) Mine eye languisheth by reason of affliction; I have called upon Thee, O LORD, every day, I have spread forth my hands unto Thee.
9我的眼睛因困苦而乾癟。 耶和華啊，我天天求告你，向你舉手。
10(88-11) Wilt Thou work wonders for the dead? Or shall the shades arise and give Thee thanks? Selah
10你豈要行奇事給死人看嗎？ 難道陰魂還能起來稱讚你嗎？ （細拉）
11(88-12) Shall Thy mercy be declared in the grave? or Thy faithfulness in destruction?
11豈能在墳墓裏述說你的慈愛嗎？ 豈能在滅亡中述說你的信實嗎？
12(88-13) Shall Thy wonders be known in the dark? and Thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
12你的奇事豈能在幽暗裏被知道嗎？ 你的公義豈能在忘記之地被知道嗎？
13(88-14) But as for me, unto Thee, O LORD, do I cry, and in the morning doth my prayer come to meet Thee.
13耶和華啊，我呼求你； 我早晨的禱告要達到你面前。
14(88-15) LORD, why castest Thou off my soul? Why hidest Thou Thy face from me?
14耶和華啊，你為何丟棄我？ 為何掩面不顧我？
15(88-16) I am afflicted and at the point of death from my youth up; I have borne Thy terrors, I am distracted.
15我自幼受苦，幾乎死亡； 我受你的驚恐，甚至慌張。
16(88-17) Thy fierce wrath is gone over me; Thy terrors have cut me off.
16你的烈怒漫過我身； 你的驚嚇把我剪除。
17(88-18) They came round about me like water all the day; they compassed me about together.
17這些終日如水環繞我， 一齊都來圍困我。
18(88-19) Friend and companion hast Thou put far from me, and mine acquaintance into darkness.
18你把我的良朋密友隔在遠處， 使我所認識的人進入黑暗裏。
